FAQ Have questions about Metro Screenworks products or wondering how to install? Contact us ! We have live screen experts who would love to help you. You can also visit our showroom in Highlands Ranch, Colorado to see our products in person. What is Tempered Glass? Stronger and safer glass. Tempered glass, also called safety glass, is safer and stronger than regular glass due to the process of extreme heating and rapid cooling when creating it. Instead of breaking into shards which can be extremely dangerous, tempered glass breaks into tiny oval pebbles. We highly recommend installing tempered glass panels within porch enclosures or security doors due to the strength of the glass. How Do You Keep Rain From Blowing in on Porch? Installing removable windows for screened porches. Tempered glass panels can replace screen panels in screened-in porch enclosures to protect your porch from rain and snow, and the cold if you install our panels that have bubble stripping for an air-tight fit. When you install glass removable screen porch panels, you may be able to enjoy your porch all year round. I Custom Built a Walnut Storm Door for My Home. I was in need of a Removable Glass Panel and Screen. I placed an order on Screenworks website. Used their measurement tool and hit place order. Couldn’t be easier. Everything was high quality and nice craftsmanship. Not a slopped together frame. Exceeded My Expectations for an online glass order. Thank You Screenworks!

The glass panels I ordered came with free door screens. The screens were very tight, but I got them in. The glass panels, however, came with a rubber insulation all around. This made it impossible to get the panels into the door. I would have to rip out the insulation. When I called Metro Screenworks, I was basically told that it was my problem - either rip out the insulated edging, or pay to have them remade, since the frame itself was within tolerance.
