1/3 of the Couch unusable after 2 years

Bought a couch 2 years ago and 1 year later, the foam seat cushion started dipping. One section of the couch, you're sitting on the wood frame. We've had to cover that area in thick blankets and have hurt ourselves a couple times sitting down. The couch dips towards this area making 1/3 of the couch unusable. Very dissatisfied with the couches quality.

Defective product

In an order of four chairs, one was defective. The company transferred me to the service department, which, after two phone calls and seven emails, finally accepted my complaint. They then forwarded the case to the supplier, who asked me the same questions. This was a huge waste of time and a clear violation of their warranty policy. The claim was filed within 48 hours of delivery, and the chair was never functional. I am very disappointed with my purchase experience.

Lying about their Products

Worst Ever we were specifically crystal clear we dont want a furniture made in China only Canadia manufactured order was done , while the furniture came with the delivery was Made in China !!

Don't buy from Meubles RD

I made the mistake of buying appliances from Meubles RD in the month of May 2025 and taking the prolonged warranty. The warranty only takes effect after the first two years of the warranty from the manufacturer of the appliances. I asked for a refund on the prolonged warranty since I didn’t feel that it was worth it for me. Meubles RD refuses to refund the amount even though the warranty only takes effect once the 2 year warranty from the manufacturer expires. They say that the sale is final and refuse to refund the amount . I don’t agree with this policy and believe that they should refund the amount in question. If you’re thinking about purchasing anything from Meubles RD think twice. Their return policy is absolute garbage.

Keep your word

Went to purchase a sofa and ottoman. Sofa was in Vaudreuil store but was told would have to look into getting Ottoman shipped from Sherbrooke. If it could not be shipped, transportation costs would be covered should we wish to pick ut up.

Received a call the next day telling due to logistics we could not have the Ottoman shipped. I decided to make a claim as this made no since to me. After many emails, was told the same thing and when asked about transportation costs covered to go pick it up, we were told k ow as they only cover costs of items $500 and over and our was 399.00$

Very disappointed as a complete sale was lost over 500$

I was served by an employee named Carl . The guy was very knowledgeable and friendly. I bought a washer and dryer I liked him so much i bought a couch from him the next day! Good salesman for sure!

Nothing like what people are saying…

Nothing of what people are saying reflected my experience there. Maybe I lucked out, or there were policy changes but my experience purchasing onlone and having the item delivered was flawless. The sofa showed up in new condition and the delivery guys were 2 smiling, amicable guys who brought up the couch through my windy steps to my living room. I ignored negative reviews because my inlaws also had furniture delivered and they praised the service, delivery, price, and quality of the products. I wouldn t hesitate to buy from them again

I feel like I got scammed by the…

I feel like I got scammed by the Meubles RD Saint-Eustache sellers. Specially Alvin. Initially, I applied with Fairstone and had to complete their identity verification and was approved. Afterwards, I tried to complete the transaction, but it didn't work because I received an error and Meubles RD want me to go to the store for validate my identity... On my lunchbreak, I went there and they told me I couldn't do the purchase online and the only way I would be able to identity my self would be to let the seller take the commission for complete my order even if I insisted many time that I was on a lunch break and I was just there to validate my identity. Unfortunately, the seller took advantage of the situation. It was pretty much If I don't do money you won't have what you want. Definitely not an employee I would want on my team. He would deny Meubles RD of a sale if he ever doesn't get his share. Sorry for my broken English, I am French.

Worst experience with RD Muebles

I had an extremely frustrating experience with RD Muebles/RD Furnitures. I purchased chairs from their liquidation sale, but during delivery, the crew damaged them while unloading from the truck. After numerous calls and a long wait, I was told they had no spare units of the same model. To make matters worse, they refused a refund due to the liquidation policy. If I wanted a replacement, I was expected to cover the price difference along with taxes and delivery charges all over again. Unbelievable! It’s been almost two months, and I’m still struggling to get this resolved.

Worst delivery ever i requested it to…

Worst delivery ever i requested it to be delivered inside the delivery guys were so rude from the moment they walked in the never processed my request for the delivery so they would not bring them up ...I have a handicap and no way of bringing them up ...before they left one of the delivery guys said va fan culo in italian which means go f*** yourself. Worst service i have ever had. Never buying from here again that's the service you get after spending over 1000 dollars HORRIBLE

Even 1 star is too much.. worst customer service.... no answer on email after 3 weaks and 2 emails sent... called them on the phone and the girl just ended the call at the middle of the discusion.. And at the store they cant help me... sorry but it will be the last time buying at Surplus Rd

Worst customer service ever

Worst customer service ever, people are nice in store but when it is time to call and make claims for damage appliances or furniture, they are the worst and not even bothered to give any compensation for the damage caused and there is no empathy and really unorganized. The agent from store say to call customer service and they can help and compensate for the damage and I called and they were not helpful at all and instead made me call the brand itself. They can’t help much more.

Vers Bad experience and 0 knowledge of customer service

What a bad experience when you are in the store they are very nice but after who they have you card 0 customer service we bought for over 4000$ the table was used and quartz was broken we asked to change they said yes but we waited all day the deliveryman never showed up we called they said that the table was discontinued but it was not true there was online in another branch and then they said they would compensate us for the day we waited for the deliveryman for $50 a real joke we had to go to the store the bedside tables they have different drawers one is white and another is brown it's not normal these people are supposed to be professionals but they have 0 knowledge of customer service it's frustrating one thing is for sure never buy anything from them and I do not recommend to my entourage I will make a good review on IG
