Couldn't recommend Martin more! He put everyone at ease, even from the first meeting prior to the wedding. We had a pre weddimg shoot, which allowed us to get to know Martin and how he works. Martin got the most amazing pictures, both at the pre wedding shoot and on the day, and gave us memories to treasure.
We have recently received our wedding album, and it is absolutely beautiful. We selected our photos and it was thoughtfully put together.
We would recommend Martin to anyone looking for a wedding photographer.

Martin was highly recommended to us as a wedding photographer by several people & we were not disappointed… throughout the whole process from first meeting Martin, through to our pre-wedding photo shoot & to the big day itself, we were struck with his amazing experience, confidence & his ability to put us at our ease.

We couldn't recommend Martin highly enough! From first meeting and speaking with him at Wentbridge House Hotel wedding show case, and seeing his incredibly beautiful photo's we knew he would be our first choice of photographer for our special day.

At our meeting before the wedding Martin explained everything that would happen on the day and the timings, and then we knew we would not have to think about anything but enjoying our day, he had it covered he knew the venue like the back of his hand!

Our bridal party felt really comfortable and at ease with Martin taking photographs while getting ready, we had a laugh and did not notice him, all the while he was capturing moments for us.

Soon it was time to get married, and it felt so special to have martin as our photographer knowing he would be capturing those beautiful images we've seen and can imagine, but now these would be of us on our big day.

During our ceremony Martin seamlessly got all our special moments and we did not notice him at all. Martin built a good rapport with our family and friends and organised them for photo's we had asked to be taken.

We got time away from our guests together while Martin was capturing photo's we will cherish forever, and we felt so comfortable being ourselves with him.

Overall the day Martin was fabulous, professional, personable and we made 100% the right choice him being our wedding photographer!

Our photo's of the best day of our lives are just WOW! they bring back all the feelings of love on the day. They've made us smile, laugh,and cry. They truly are very special.

From our first meeting of him asking what we wanted from him, and viewing his work we knew that we had found the perfect photographer.

This was proved to be 100% correct on the day. Neither of us are the most confident people being photographed but Martin made us feel completely at ease and the result of this has been the most amazing collection of photos of our special day.

Martin photographed our wedding, he was amazing throughout the day. Arriving to take pictures of the bridal party getting ready and pictures of the grooms party before the ceremony and was with us through to the reception in the evening. The pictures are stunning and everyone we have shown loves them as much as we do.

We cannot thank Martin enough for being part of our day. He was fantastic throughout the day putting us at ease when the nerves kicked in, helping with the button holes, ensuring all guests were ready when we had group shots and making sure he ushered us outside for the sunset photos. Martin was amazing from start to finish. We have a very tiny wedding with only siblings and parents invited. An incredibly intimate ceremony, which Martin captured beautifully. My personal favourites are the images of me and my husband in tears with my dad on my arm also crying; and being able to have the image means we’ll always have that memory to hand!

For the photographs after the ceremony, Martin was inclusive of all of our guests and made sure that everyone’s stance in the images was spot on and it’s paid because we have the most beautiful images of our day.

My parents have also made many comments on Martin’s professionalism and how it’s obvious, how much of a natural he is but also, his abilities to make the experience feel natural too.

I will forever recommend Martin, the moments we have in images can never be repeated and for that we’re grateful!

One of our favourite moments was the preview of the morning photos shared in the evening to our guests, this was fantastic. If you are looking for a wedding photographer (coming from two individuals who don’t find having their photo taken to be the most comfortable experience) Martin is the photographer for you. You don’t need to consider having anybody else to photograph the best day of your life.
The moments that he captures, you don’t even know have passed until you see them for yourself.
He is excellent at arranging the group shots and has an ability to put you so at ease that it feels really natural.
He worked for 12 hours or more for us doing bridal prep photos right up until after the first dance, with a screen showing photos of the day to the night guests.
We can’t recommend him highly enough.

Excellent service and good quality product

Our daughter and her husband chose Martin to do the photography on their wedding day and we're so glad he did! He was there the whole day but to be honest you sometimes hardly noticed he was there because of how he works. He would organise the group shots so efficiently and then quietly mingle with guests, taking some lovely natural and imaginative photos. He's so friendly and professional, he worked very hard for us all and the resulting photos are amazing. Thankyou Martin for creating so many wonderful photographic images for us all to cherish :)

I have known Martin for around 10 years and we were delighted when he said he was available to photograph our special day.
Martin was able to capture every aspect of our special day and we didn't notice he was taking photographs most of the time!

We hit lucky with securing Martin as the photographer for our wedding in June given how booked out he already was for this season. Martin was very professional and communications from him were always very prompt. He arranged a pre-wedding shoot for us which put us both at ease and excited for the real event.

The day itself arrived and we had a fabulous day, made all the more special by Martin and his talent for capturing all the right moments. He kept us focused on the order of the day and calm (especially during a slight hiccup from the registrars early on!) We had the full day with him and he took some fantastic photos. Lots of family and friends have commented highly on them. Our album is great and so nice to have a physical memoir to look back on for years to come.

Would strongly recommend Martin Hillary Photography.

We’ve just had the pleasure of Martin being our photographer for our recent wedding. As someone who is not comfortable in front of the camera, this was the part of the day I was least looking forward to but Martin really puts you at ease, and makes the experience fun. He included a pre shoot, to give us an idea as to what’s actually needed and the worst part of his whole operation is finding his home!

If you’re in the market for a photographer, do not hesitate, do not think twice as he’ll be booked up! You might find cheaper but you won’t find better.

The quality of his photos speak for themselves, but the quality doesn’t stop there, the unique USB drive you get the pictures on and the photo albums carry that on.

I’d 100% recommend Martin
