Cameras are good but everything else is…
Cameras are good but everything else is bottlenecked and the battery drains extremely quickly.
Bad devices for good prices.
The apps are of low quality as well.
The customer support in the UK is…
The customer support in the UK is atrocious, ordered an item on 17th Dec 24, still not arrived.
I have been trying to sort the non delivery of the parcel for 43 days now and have asked for a refund 7 times.
Just keep getting the same type of email from them, see below

Update on 8th April 2025
I still haven't received the correct refund amount from Xiaomi, I am still owed nearly €30.
Their customer support is a disaster
Shambles!
I wanted to pay in 24 instalments but they charged me full price. After asking to cancel the order they shipped it. When I tried to get in touch with them you have to wait hours for response and the response was usually "go ask Paypal". And of course Paypal was sending me back to them. Ridiculous. DO NOT USE THEIR WEBSITE in UK. Their customer support is even worse! I have been now talking to around 15 different people, each giving me the same answers and duplicating responses. wow... just wow....
client service:waste of time
I started a chat at 6.40, after 65 min ow waiting, they have disconnected the chat.
a waste of time.
so they have lost a customer and the chance to have me doing an abbonement to their clo9ud services after 13 years of using their products:cogratulation!!!
Ps chat script is available for reference
Ordered item and it never arrived
We ordered this product over a month ago during the Black Friday Sales, and it never arrived. Despite the delivery service falsely marking it as "delivered," we’ve been left empty-handed. After six frustrating follow-ups with Xiaomi’s customer service, we’re no closer to a resolution.
This is beyond disappointing, especially as loyal customers who have purchased multiple products from Xiaomi in the past. The lack of accountability, poor communication, and zero effort to resolve the issue make this experience feel like a complete scam.
We will be following up with local authorities to put in a report.
I had a terrible experience at the XIAOMI PORTUGAL
I had a terrible experience at the Xiaomi store in Oeiras Parque in Portugal. I purchased a smartwatch that malfunctioned only two days after purchase. When I requested a replacement or refund, as per my legal rights, I was treated arrogantly and disrespectfully by the staff, who refused to resolve the issue and insisted on sending the item for technical evaluation, completely ignoring my consumer rights. Furthermore, I overheard the staff making mocking comments about my situation. To make matters worse, the representative from Select Smart, in their response to my complaint in the electronic complaint book, shirked any responsibility and refused to refund the money for a defective product after only 2 days of use. I do not recommend this store due to their lack of professionalism and respect for customers.
Never buy any Xiaomi phones and everything from China
High percentage of hardware failure rate. Inability to unlock simply bootloader and do bypasses. Buggy software and Android system. Inadequate usage of battery by apps. Tons of bloated, Googled and advert apps. Support are useless.
It also led to loss of my data because due of their major flaw in Recovery mode (battery icon showed but pressing any key triggered false action such as wipe data)
Save your money from plague and choose another non-Chinese phone vendor.
Hope the product is better than the buying experience.
This is only a review of the company not the product.
I went onto their website to buy a set of earbuds. In order to purchase something, you first need to register. Doing this is simple enough: email address, personal details, address. When the time came to enter my address, I entered my postcode. The website didn't look up my address so I had to enter it in manually. Now, living in a flat, the first line is the number of the flat, second: the name of the apartment block, thirdly the road in which the block resides. When checking the details, on the website it looks fine however, on the delivery note it put flat no., road, town, apartment block name, post code. Having registered, I received no email confirmation along the lines of: "Thanks for registering!".
Next I went back in and ordered the item, paid and order was accepted.
******CORRECTION*****
I received an order confirmation email: unfortunately it went into my spam folder so I failed to spot it. I apologise to mi.com for this error. Finally, Royal Mail delivered the parcel to the wrong address: they delivered it to the house with the same number as my flat in the road my flat is in. I received no email or text info regarding delivery status (other than it had been shipped) at any time, although I did receive an email confirming delivery.
Just suprises me that a large chinese trading company isn't set up to trade smoothly in the UK. Hope the gift is well received!

Terrible customer service, being passed from one person who doesn't answer your question to another who insults you.
I contacted customer service(service.uk@) regarding their Black Friday sale and received the following explanation from a representative:
“According to the description, if you purchase items worth £100, you'll receive a £10 discount. For purchases of £200, there's a £20 discount, and if you buy items totaling £300, you'll get a £50 discount.”
After noticing that the promotion wasn’t being applied, I reached out for further assistance. Each time, I was met with a different representative who either had no knowledge of the previous conversation or failed to fully understand the issue.
Finally, after three different representatives acknowledged that the promotion should apply, I received this response from Caleb:
“Please refer to the attachment on how to find our Terms & Conditions. This will ensure you do not experience this kind of confusion in the future.”
The confusion, however, was not on my end. It stemmed from your team’s inability to accurately interpret your own Terms & Conditions, resulting in misinformation and unnecessary frustration for a potential customer.

Ordered a 2k Xiaomi monitor
Ordered a 2k Xiaomi monitor. Delivery was very fast. No issues with payment.
Monitor was perfect but have seen others say the QC on these monitors wasn't the best but no problems with mine. I did also enquire about returns and they do have an active customer service who ensured me it was easy to just fill in the return application and send it back.
Haven't needed to claim warranty and also don't know if it has any?
Have recommended Mi.com and Xiaomi to others.

Previously good experience
I have had two tablets and a phone before and been pleased with them but I recently ordered a new redmi note 13 5g which would not switch on even after putting on charge, I contacted Xiaomi who sent me a return envelope. Unfortunately they use an outside company who have to inspect the phone and send a report before I get a replacement, this of course takes time which is annoying when the fault is obvious in a brand new phone which had never switched on. Customer support were polite and helpful but unbending

Do not buy Xiaomi phones.
I had high hopes for xiaomi when i bought poco f6 (my first and last xiaomi phone)
I am facing a lot of inconvenences
deal breakers are :
Android widgets disappear from home screen regularly every day. don't bother putting them on your home screen again, they won't stay there for long.
The very basic app most peope use in day to day life like android auto is just simply not working, tried all suggestions available, my 4 other phones work just fine only xiaomi doesn't.
I wish i didn't buy xiaomi but couldn't expect the number of isssues is increasing with every consecutive update

Horrible
EDIT: We were able to get the scooters to " factory reset " .... (finally).
How would a new owners of the scooters set them up?
We are looking for an official manual so the new people who will have the scooters can set it up for themselves.
I bought 2 scooters 3 years ago. We haven't used them in a while and cannot use them again because there is no way to use the app on our phones. We have tried everything and customer service is USELESS. The chat feature is a joke that no human ever comes even if you are "next" in line or will be another "2 minutes". They are now GARBAGE.

Crap!
I bought few Mi 360 Home Security Cameras about a year ago. It worked OK however they were not compatible with Home Assistant setup (HACS integration is available but its very buggy and 9 out of 10 it says "service un-available". Today when I open the Xiaomi Home app, it requires me to (Forced me to) buy a subscription service just to view clips taken by the camera's surveillance mode which is saved on my own storage. I have not used Xiaomi resources like their cloud storage as I have used micro SD cards as video storage. Also, during setup I don't recall any info regarding a subscription requirements however with new firmware update Xiaomi forces me to buy/ pay money to view my own footage on my own memory card. Disabling playback viewing is so unreasonable when footages are stored on local storage and I stream them via my own wifi. Now these camera's are not more than a paperweight. Don't buy this crap!

Mi Robot Vacuum Mop P
I don't recommend their Mi Robot Vacuum Mop P. This constantly ran into issues getting stuck, couldn't find its way back to the dock, the app was pretty limited and not user friendly and after about 6 months the unit just started going round in circles and smashing into things. Xiaomi weren't much help, advising that the model was no longer supported. Upraded to a Roborock, which is so much better, smarter in every way, with no issues at all so far.
Brand new faulty Redmi 13
I received a brand new faulty Redmi 13. I have been told by the customer service to send it back on the same day I received it. I am still waiting for a replacement after 3 weeks. They won't refund me either. Stay away!
Simple request for two missing reports…
Simple request for two missing reports has been constantly ignored other than a response that it is being reviewed. Can’t use item without these parts. Do not trust and don’t buy from them.
Absolutely terrible company and…
Absolutely terrible company and electronics. Do not truat this brand, they do not replace devices through waranty when the device gives problems, and its clearly a faulty product. I baught a redmi 5 watch, its supposedely water resistant to 50 atm, the day i baught it, it rained for about 10 minutes and got water damage. They say its my fault somehow. How can they advertise water resistant products that get water damage from a little rain? I had the watch for a couple of hours!
I have had no major issues
I personally did buy a Xiaomi phone the Xiaomi Poco X6 pro and I have had absolutely no problems apart from a few minor issues like there being no directors view on the camera also you can't switch camera views while recording but nothing major
