Absolutely horrible customer service. Been waiting 10 days for my refund!! Still nothing. Email them and get a generic response. Buyer Beware… will be filing a claim with AMEX, to get my money back!!

While I believe Michael Stars has a good product their customer service is terrible. I returned my items and they scanned and received them on 7/2/25. It is now 7/15/2025 and I still have not received my refund. They tell me it will take approx 2 weeks or longer. That is ridiculous and I will never buy directly from them again. Nordstorm has great customer service and refunds me immediately on a return. Their products are not cheap so keeping my money this long is just using people for their own benefit.

If you buy from this company and make a return you will wait 4 weeks for your money.

I wish I had checked reviews on Yelp, Trustpilot, and other sites before buying from this company. I returned an item, which was confirmed received on 7/22, and it's been nearly four weeks with no refund in sight. Despite countless attempts to contact customer service and leaving messages, I’ve received no response. I’m now forced to escalate this to my credit card company, and it could take weeks, if I even get my refund. This level of dishonesty has left me furious, and I will never shop here again.

Horrible online customer service! First time ordering from this company. Ordered two tanks each at $68.00. Received the order on 7/11/24. The one tank “Maya” style was twice as big under one arm than the other side and had deep creases throughout. I went online and saw that the other tank I ordered “Nelly” went on sale the same day I received mine. I tried to reach out 4 times! Through email, phone and of course no chat available. I finally got a response today and all they said was sorry we don’t do price adjustments. Nothing in regards to defective tank. Awful company. Should have read all the reviews here before ordering! Never ordering from them again.

I cannot get anyone to help me with my rewards I need some help it wont let me use more and it wont recalculate and add back ones I did not use so I can buy an item so frustrating

Michael Stars Customer Service or should I say lack of Customer Service is terrible. The brand does not provide a telephine number only an email address. I have emailed (3) times about an issue with an order and I never received a response. I have stopped ordering from Michael Stars and have found similar products (and more petite options) with Eileen Fisher.

I have purchased 3 items from the company. I purchased the 2nd item after I loved the first so much. However, when I went to wear the 2nd item (dress) it is so sheer I am not comfortable wearing it. I have reached out to exchange it for another color 4 times with no response. Now, the first item I purchased is coming apart after 2 washes.

Such a disappointment because the clothes are not inexpensive.

I returned an item over 2 weeks ago in pristine condition with tags still attached. They have not credited my Amex after 3 emails requesting that my money be refunded. I will never do business with this company again.

Wow. I left a poor review similar to one’s on Trustpilot and it was immediately removed.
Not an honest company.
I like their clothes but after 3 attempts to purchase $500 worth of clothes and multiple emails to figure out why my confirmed purchases kept getting denied and refunded I received a poor answer and they have no option to order by phone like many online business’. Sorry to say but it seems shady.
Avoid at all costs. Save your money and the stress.

Fabric began shredding and fraying on front panel after as few as 5 washes following label instructions. Maybe wore shirt (not inexpensive) a total of eight times. Contacted them via email about it, they did not express any concern or care at all. They responded with a “it’s been too long to return or replace” and offered a coupon code to buy more clothing. They didn’t care at all that they have a quality control issue and when offered, they didn’t even ask to see the photo I was prepared to send them. Will not buy from this brand again.

I mailed back my return, it was delivered two weeks ago, but nothing has been processed. I have emailed them three times and have never received a response. I Will never buy from them again.

Bought basically a tshirt and paid $78 only to have it develop small holes in the front despite hanging it to dry and wearing it infrequently. SUCH CHEAP MATERIAL!! Not the Michael Star quality shirts I grew up with and definitely not worth the price!

If I could give this company a zero rating I would!! Never mind poor customer service …. There is NO customer service. Two of the items ordered were supposed to be the same colour but they weren’t even close. The other item was a terrible fit. When I tried to get a return label they sent the same auto reply over and over but the link wouldn’t work because I’m from Canada. They overvalued the package which cost me extra $ in duties. This company is unprofessional and does not value customers. Never again for me.

Horrible customer service. Bought 2 $ 78 tee shirts. One of them had a whole in the shoulder. Asked me for a picture, sent it and have tried to reach out several times with no response. I hate a company that doesn’t stand behind their product. DO NOT BUY!

Horrible customer service. They sent me the wrong size and they won’t exchange it. Horrible . Don’t buy from this place. Cheap material too.

I had similar situation they wouldn’t credit me for a first time ordering promo.
I returned the dress on principle. they do not answer phone calls and don’t seem to care
I’ll now wait for my refund hope there will not be an issue

Horrible customer service. They list a phone number, however when you call they don’t answer and ask to leave a message which they never return. I ordered 3 Tees, and I immediately returned two of them, which I even I did not try. It took them two weeks to process a refund, after I sent multiple emails. Then they email me about the refund with deducting $8.00 without any explanation, I had to email them several times regarding not refunding me the full amount. Finally, they replied that they deducted $8.00 due to deodorant stains, I never tried them. They are dishonest, unprofessional, and make any excuse for a return not to be refunded in full. They will be reported to Better business bureau. Even they said they processed my refund, it’s been a while and did not post to my credit card. A dispute to follow with my credit card. Buyers be very careful to purchase from this merchant. What a waste of time!

I ordered items and before they were sent to me they had a promotion. I asked for the promotion to be honored and was told no. Really? First and last time I will order from them. They actually pay a customer service rep with that non existent level of making sure the customer is satisfied.

I highly recommend Michael Stars. I was super impressed with how my items arrived..in a nice gift box and boxed in a larger sturdy box. I got three basic tees which fit great and are super comfy! I am excited to buy more items from this company!
