I have had my Electric Gates installed by this company since 2007 and they have been exceptional. Very few minor glitches. I cannot recommend this company enough service and the professionalism has been outstanding. Thank you.

Positive experience from preliminary visit for measurements etc to provide quote. On agreed installation date, team arrived and completed the job quickly & professionally despite an unforeseen problem.
Gates look good and operate very well.
No reservations about recommending.

Way too expensive. They don't do free diagnosis so you'll get a bill just for the pleasure of them turning up, comprised of 'travel time and mileage'.

I called them because my gate intercom stopped working. In other words, it was faulty/broken. Two men in one van turned up, spent around 30 minutes looking at it and then told me it was broken and I needed a new one - which of course I expected.

However, I was also told that my current intercom isn't available anymore and that I'd need to purchase one from them for about £250. I knew that wasn't true so I told them to leave it and I bought the same one as mine for £75 online.

As I'd lost trust in Midland Control Systems by this point, I got another installer to fit the new intercom in less than 30 minutes.

I received a £120 invoice from Midland Control Systems for that wonderful service.

I have had two sets of gates from Midland Control Systems for a number of years.

I had a problem with a large set of wooden gates near the Christmas period and thought I would have to put up with it until the new year. This problem was not of their making,
I contacted the office and spoke to Mrs. Rutter to ask for assistance, within 2 days they visited my house got the parts and fitted them with no fuss and a smile.
I wish more companies were like this. I saw the review about lack of contact and I would say try to get pass that and contact again you will not be disappointed in the work or service.

I have telephoned this company TWICE to request a call back from someone that can advise on the type of electric gates we may need and to arrange for a site visit and quote. The first call several weeks ago was never received, and my second request also has not materialised. Certainly will remove this company from my contacts, and would not consider using. If they cannot return a call on an initial enquiry, how could I have confidence that their after sales service would be any better.

Mike and the team are great, they were the first company to get back to me when I was looking for some gates and they were the first to conduct a site visit. As soon as we met Mike we had great confidence in him and sure enough the end result has been great. We have some really high quality, electric steel gates at a very competitive rice. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. Great customer service, 10/10!!
