Work well until they don’t & service so-so

Their products work well when they work, but cheap German plastic is no stronger or more durable than Chinese. Their servicemen have been a mixed bag, some assiduous and careful but others, like yesterday’s, the reverse.

Customer Service is non-existent

Customer Service is non-existent. I purchased a washer dryer set in 2019. Called on Monday to have the belt on the dryer replaced. I was told that I would get a call regarding an appointment within 48 hours. It's now Saturday and no one has called so I went with a local appliance repair company. The only reason I bought Miele was because of the compact size of the washer and dryer, which are both located in closets. Miele appliances are not cheap by any means and for the price that I paid for these appliances, I would expect better service. I will never buy another Miele appliance on the sole basis of the non-existent customer service.

a good job done by two good lads

I’ve just had Dan and Ian who came to repair my electric wheelchair wire had snapped. They had to put a new pod and a new wire. It took them only minutes to fix it. They’re both incredibly polite and nice and helpful. Repaired my chair cleaned up after them and now in possession of my chair thank you the Lord I can get my independence back and go out and about again thanks to Dan and Ian who did a terrific job Millercare I’ve been outstanding for me calling them up telling them my problem with the chair to them coming out and firstly assessing it ordering the parts and coming out a few days later to repair it and get me back on the road so to speak I really can’t think Millercare enough all the way through they have been excellent thanks Millercare you’ve done a top job

Manufacturing defect is not addressed for weeks

New Slimline ventilation hood was not possible to install as the holes on the holding brackets and unit didn’t align at all. We tried to install it for 2.5 days and ruined our cupboard walls as we thought it was our miscalculations in measurements so we drilled multiple holes to find a way to get screws in. After giving up we decided to just check if the brackets even attach to the unit itself. Turned out they couldn’t possibly be connected as holes were misaligned. We called and emailed multiple times to Miele Canada to consumer and installation depts but no avail. Absolutely no response to my attempts to communicate the problem and no acknowledgment at all. The very first customer service agent told us to send the unit back but we would have to pay for shipping and 10% restocking fee. For their expensive but defective unit that killed our backs and ruined our cupboard! Is this the company that praises their craftsmanship and quality???

Miele Range - Severe Buyer's Remorse

Stay away from a Miele range unless you really check it out first. I have had great experiences with Miele products in the past so when we were renovating our kitchen I didn't even think twice. We spent $12,000 on the worst oven I have ever had. It is a terrible design. We bought the range. The induction cooktop is fine but the oven is a disaster. The "touch pad" is not a touch - it's a push hard 3 times. The control panel is beyond frustrating. The timer takes several hard presses. And if your fingers are even damp (which they usually are in the kitchen) it won't scroll to whatever number you want. I usually end up using my watch. I even had a repair guy come because I was so sure there was something wrong with this stove. He just shrugged and said "Yeah, I know. It's terrible." Always ask a repair person first. I could maybe forgive the terrible controls if it cooked brilliantly. But it absolutely doesn't. This is the worst case of buyer remorse ever. I miss my 30 year old Jennaire that I trashed to get this expensive piece right out of the Emperor's New Clothes. Did anyone ever test this range before putting it on the market?
