Miele Fails To Stand Behind Their Products!
I had problem on my Miele dishwasher where the rinse agent wasn't being dispensed properly. I called Miele technical support to inquire whether a replacement part was available. I told them my dishwasher model and was given a specific part number to order (which I did). The part arrived and I installed it, but now neither the soap dispenser nor the rinse agent dispenser worked. I called Miele customer service stating that I had received a part that I believed I was defective. Customer service stated that the only way they would consider approving a return on the part was if a Miele qualified service tech paid a visit. So I paid for a Miele qualified service tech to come out and he verified that I had been sent an incorrect part for my dishwasher. This information was relayed to Miele customer service along with a report (including video). The bottom line from Miele was they still would not authorize a return and refund of the part (even though it was tech support who specifically told me which part number to order. I have tried escalating the matter but have been continually stonewalled by people who simply read from from a script. I advise anyone considering a Miele product to choose another company - their products are overpriced and poorly supported!
Don't purchase a Miele appliance based on rebate offer
Don't purchase a Miele appliance based on any rebate they offer. It takes hours to fill out their forms online. Months to receive status on your rebate that WILL be denied. Any offers of rebate is nothing but a marketing ploy. I don't understand their logic. If they don't want to rebate, then don't make the offer. I've had no issues w/the dishwasher I purchased, so far. But, they have presented themselves as a sleazy company. Next dishwasher I need will not be a Miele.

Customer service is terrible to non existent. Totally disappointed and unsatisfied. They deserve less than one star. Avoid their washer and dryer.

Brand new dgc7880 combi steam oven locked up on an F11 code the first time I tried to use it. Sad. Miele used to make really quality stuff but apparently German quality control now has a lot in common with the Chinese.
Miele Vacuum Warranty claim denied
Miele acknoleged my purchase and accpeted my serial number for my complete C3 vacuum. Last year they had me bring my unit amd get repaired at A1. A year later I had another issue, this time I sent it back to A1 and Miele would not accept the claim. I alone having miele fulfill their warranties. Respond if this has happened to you.

Dishwasher top basket is held in place by plastic levers on 2 sides. One of the lever keeps breaking and the loaded basket sometimes drops from one side. Very frustrating - Miele has been of 0 help. Expensive dishwasher and such cheap parts. They do not replace a bad part when you call them - you have to order on your own and replace. highly disappointing, never buy Miele products.

This company's customer service in non existent. I purchased their expensive vacuum cleaner which had a. damaged part. Customer service was difficult to contact. Wrong phone number on their website and wrong email address in the instruction book! Best they could tell me is "the back office will have to investigate." Do not buy Miele products if you are not in a metropolitan area. We live in Rural Maine. Two Miele dishwashers are not operable. One Miele coffee machine is not operable. One Miele stove is also compromised. Cannot get anyone to service. I may as well take it all to the dump!

This company has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. We have a Miele coffee maker that broke. We attempted to order a replacement part for an exorbitant price, and it arrived broken. We called to get a new one, and they blamed UPS and told us they wouldn't do anything to remedy the situation.
Never buy Miele!
Never buy Miele! I purchased a Miele fridge and freezer side-by-side about ten years ago and the compressor went out on the freezer recently. Despite spending close to $15000 for the combo at the time (they cost even more now) they no longer stock the parts for the freezer and it is nearly impossible to find anyone to service Miele in my area. It would cost less than a thousand dollars to repair if they had the part instead of $20,000 plus it’s costing to replace both the fridge and freezer. Be assured I’m NOT replacing them with Miele.
I also bought an overpriced Miele exhaust fan for my stove which also has gone out and it would cost $1300 to repair-$2000 for a new one. I’m looking for a different brand.
I’m never going to purchase from Miele again. Stick with sub-zero for fridges. I have it on good authority from several appliance repairemen they stock parts for 40+ years and take good care of their customers.
Still trying to figure out which brand to use for the fan-light for my stove. It won’t be Miele.

Miele offers rebates to customers but makes it difficult to claim those rebates. They use a 3rd party and require multiple steps in order for a claim to go through.

Miele does not care about customers
I bought the wrong milk jar which was $140 and it was the wrong jar. They do not accept returns. I read nowhere while I was paying that they do not accept returns. Which is not fair to their customers.
I’ll share with you guys what they told me. They will accept returns unless the item is damaged “with in 15 days” But now reading all the negative reviews about customer service I doubt they will even honor their policy. They are a joke people I made the mistake; I bought a 3500 coffee maker from them. Do not buy from this retailer. They do not care about their customers.

Customer Service and Appliance Quality have gone way downhill
I’ve had Miele appliances for over 30 years and until recently, no issues. But things have clearly changed at Miele. After only ten months, our new TXI680WP heatpump dryer stopped drying clothes. It ran for hours, but we were left with very damp clothes. Four visits from the Miele-certified repair company and still NO JOY. Customer Service shunted my complaint to Quality Assurance Department which after ten days has not even contacted me. No working dryer for eight weeks. I’ve filed consumer complaints with the Federal Trade Commission and the Maryland Office of Attorney General. Look at Miele’s website (website (see Miele's website "good-reasons-for-choosing-miele") which states: "Miele customers enjoy preferential treatment: Thanks to our fast and efficient after-sales service operation which has been voted best in its branch of industry many times over... We will always be there for you. That's a promise!" What a misleading statement and a false inducement to buy Miele’s products.
UPDATE 12/12/23: finally heard from Miele’s Quality Assurance Dept. that a replacement dryer is on its way.
UPDATE 01/08/24: The replacement dryer has been at All State Appliances, Miele's "Installation Partner" since December 22nd. Apparently, my address is not in the normal installation area for All State, Notably, All State advertises that it serves the entire DMV (DC, MD and Northern VA and I am located 25.5 miles from the US Capitol). All State has informed me that its installation department "might" call me sometime this week to arrange installation, but no promises. I am now entering my 12th week without a functioning dryer. So, Miele does not have the most reliable installation Partner. Another noteworthy issue with Miele's warranty service.

Go with another brand. I've had my dishwasher for 5 years. Miele says I should get 15-20 years out of my appliance. It worked fine up till recently. It didn't drain properly and ended up leaking into my basement and causing water damage to my ash floors in the kitchen. After 2 weeks of waiting, I had a service technician come out, (the service call was $150 plus $150 per hour labor fee), he assessed the problem which was the circulation pump at a cost to repair of $900. I paid $1099 for the unit originally. No thanks. I'll be getting something else.

Some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. My father has been trying to get his microwave oven fixed since the summer of 2022. We've had multiple technicians in who have determined that the microwave will never work again (there was last someone here in December of 2022, but then they sent us a report confirming that in JUNE 2023). So many emails not responded to or not actually addressing the issue at hand. These appliances were thousands of dollars and they were purchased new but we were given the showroom appliances which were many years old already and when we reported the microwave not working it was still within warranty so we should have had a replacement. Today I spent 2 hours on hold and then a message came on saying they were now closed and then the call ended. It was 2pm PST and the hours online are until 7pm EST so I should have had two more hours.

Worst. Customer. Service. Expensive dishwasher needs $700.00 part after 2.5 years. I called to ask them if they will work with me, as the machine was $2400 and kept in pristine condition. They would NOT let me speak to anyone with authority. I accepted the charge, scheduled the service and service never came because they failed to schedule it. I called back. Tried once again to speak with someone in a higher position, and once again was denied and told, “there are no supervisors available to speak with you. We will call you back.” I would definitely recommend you look elsewhere for the product you are in search of. This company has expensive products that do not last and their customer service is NONEXISTENT!

I have had this appliance for 1year and half. It did not even work properly when I was placed in my home. Why won’t anyone help me from Miele Appliance.
I HAVE A MIELE 48" RANGE WITH MATCHING HOOD.
THAT I HAVE HAD NOTHING BUT ISSUES WITH.

THEN 11/08/2023 HAD THE STOVE GO OUT COMPLETELY. GOT A REF NO. - NO ONE HAS COME TO HELP
11/13/2023 THEN NOW NOTICING THE MICROWAVE NOT WARMING FOOD UP TO ADEQUATE TEMPS. HAVE A REF NO. AND JUST GOING TO CALL EVERYDAY. I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY.
YOUR APPLIANCES ARE NOT CHEAP AND THEY ARE SOLD AS THOUGH THEY ARE TOP OF THE LINE. MIELE YOU DON'T SHOW IT IN YOUR SUPPORT FOR YOUR CUSTOMER AND YOU QUALITY OF WORK.

I just had an appliance company tell me that I will have pay $5353.95 to get my oven working because of the manufacturing defects. I have had nothing but on going issues and I am so tired of not being heard. Please everyone, they are beautiful but not for issues that come with. I am unhappy customer that is tired of being stepped on by companies and people that don't stand behind their services and product. Treat me right and I will treat you right.
