DO NOT BUY THESE EAR BUDS
Do not buy these earbuds. They will not live up to the ads and you'll quickly become very disappointed. I purchased my O5 Plus Gen 3 in August 2025 and then found in February that one of my ear buds had totally stopped working. I reached out to customer service and was offered tips to rectify the problem but they didn't work. When I asked for a refund it was refused and then I was asked to provide photos of videos of the ear buds. I was initally offered a refund and was told I had to return them but was never given a return address. I have been dealing with Customer service for weeks and have now been ghosted. Customer service is shocking and they do not care when their products fail. I wish I had never purchased them.

I bought a Walkabout Watch 3 from MIFO Australia which is the trading name for Smartware pty ltd.
The defects below were apparent straight out of the box.
The fitness/health part of the watch is not fit for purpose and could even be dangerous.
Heart rate was tested against a known accurate monitor for a 40 min workout.
Known good rate Av was 128 bpm. Walkabout watch 3 Av was 108. Dangerously inaccurate.
Blood pressure was just as bad. Tested against an Omron Medical grade BP monitor for 2 tests of 6 readings. First was after a bit of light exercise and second was completely at rest.
Test 1 Omron average 133/88. Walkabout 3 average 109/76
Test 2 Omron average123/81. Walkabout 3 average 107/74.
Both tests ridiculously inaccurate. I contacted MIFO and did all the fault finding steps to no avail.
I asked for a refund, MIFO stopped communicating. I threatened them with the ACCC and then I am contacted by the watch manufacturer Walkabout Technology Australia who promise to do a refund. After getting the run around by them for a month, they stopped communicating as well.
I reported both companies to the ACCC who were already investigating them.
So in closing, looks like 2 Chinese companies failing to honour Australian warranty requirements with NO phone numbers and NO current Australian address that I can find.
MIFO doesn't even send a tax receipt and does not have their ABN anywhere on their paperwork.
MIFO also did NOT publish my review that I sent in, another breach of consumer law.

I don't know what happened to this company, but it's sad. I've had 2 pairs of ear buds in the past with no problems.
The current order couldn't be any different. The ear buds don't work and after 6 weeks and a dozen messages to try and return them, I am yet to have anyone contact me back. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!
Buy with the risk of being mislead.
After confirming with Mifo the trail camera was in stock, I placed an order. There was a promise of shipping within 3-5 days.
When I had not received a tracking number after 5 days, I contacted them and was advised they were out of stock, but more stock was arriving in a few days. This also proved to be incorrect and after receiving multiple promises for delivery, all of which failed to occur.
I then tried to cancel the order, but they would not answer.
Finally the product arrived with no shipping advice ever received.
It was then falsely claimed the product had been shipped when they received the cancellation notice, such a claim however is false, as it is clearly evident they have mislead me.
Buy from Mifo at your own risk and be prepared to get false information and a complete lack of customer support.
Avoid this company.
Refunds Dept is a joke
I emailed to request a refund well within the 30 day window. Their initial reply was within 5 minutes asking me to clarify if it was opened or unopned & if I wanted a refund or exchange. I replied promptly as well and now it's 12 days later and despite me sending 5 follow up emails I've still received no reply.
A scam
A scam. My Mifo headphones broke a couple of weeks after purchase. I have been trying to arrange a replacement since December. It's been 4 months now and nothing has happened. I would stay away from this company.
Terrible ear buds and customer support
Terrible. I have bought 2 sets of the previous generation buds and no issues. They won’t connect or sync, when/if they do they cut out.
The worst part is the support from Mifo, responding at the start and now I have asked for a new pair or a refund they are ignoring my emails. Would never buy again from them, disappointed is an understatement.
Incorrect item delivered
Ordered a toaster, got a delivery of a massage gun. Despite numerous emails Mifo will not pick up the gun and deliver my toaster. Fair Trading has issued a warning against this company. So AVOID THIS COMPANY

Terrible Service
I have sent in excess of 10 emails trying to arrange for the earbuds I purchased to be returned for credit. The sound quality of them is very tinny and not what I expected or wanted.
All I have received is road blocks every step of the way, along with many platitudes about how good you are and how you "understand my frustrations". Going by other reviews...I am not Robinson Crusoe here, as 99% of them all say the same thing and are scathing of your professionalism and unacceptable service/quality & returns policy.
I spent $150, so will put this down to experience and cut my losses... you are not worth time & effort for me to to continually chase my tail trying to resolve this.

If I could give no stars I would. CONSUMER BEWARE!! My product is faulty and no solution was given. Promises of refund or exchange and then silence. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. I've since found public warning online from consumer affairs.
Terrible Customer Service.
I wanted to support a small Aussie business, but MiFo’s customer service has been genuinely appalling.
I bought the MiFo O5 Plus Gen 3 in October 2024 and when one earbud became significantly quieter, I contacted support multiple times. Replies took weeks to months, and when they did respond it was mostly copy-paste troubleshooting. At one point I was sent reset instructions for the wrong model (mine has touch sensors, not buttons), which wasted even more time.
After months of chasing, I was offered a replacement — but then it turned into another long cycle of delays, apologies, and no action. I repeatedly had to follow up just to get basic updates.
The worst part: I was eventually sent a return label and went to the post office they directed me to, only to be told they couldn’t accept the return because something was wrong with the label. Whether that was a “system issue” or not, as the customer it felt like being messed around yet again after nearly a year of this.
Overall it feels like MiFo takes advantage of customers by dragging things out and hoping you give up. The product is fine when it works, but if you have any issues, be prepared for a nightmare. I wouldn’t recommend.
