Mihail's workshop was amazing and I would happily recommend it. He is really down to earth, positive and patient. Needless to say that he is an expert and really knows his craft. The group he organized was relatively small and he was able and willing to pay attention to everyone individually. The spots he chose for the workshop were breathtaking and he created a very friendly environment for the group. On the second day of the workshop, he even took the time to teach us some techniques are not included in the workshop agenda. During the day in between shoots, he organized a photo critique, so we can review our photos together and receive his constructive feedback on them. The materials he shared after the workshop are very helpful and educational. It was very nice that we could bring our significant others if we wanted to share the experience with them event if they were not part of the workshop. Mihail is the heart of very cool community. We keep in touch, share photos and help each other with tips and advices. Mihail is very active in the community and always willing to help. Overall it was an amazing experience and I will be happy to attend more of his events. Thank you, Mihail!

I discovered Mihail through social media and I must say that his work in astrophotography left me speechless. I love the way he tells stories with his images. I was fortunate to be able to participate in his Masterclass and learned so much from him. Mihail is very attentive and patient with his students and is aways there to give us feedback and advice on achieving better results in astrophotography. I am looking forward to joining some of his workshops.

PS: After this Masterclass I am even more inspired to take my camera and go out into the darkest places to capture and see the full beauty of the night sky.

I feel very lucky to have found Mihail on social media and that he had an available spot for his masterclass. I came with zero astrophotography experience but with big desire to learn. The class was all I was hoping for and more. A lot of information, very well condensed, organized, and most importantly, greatly taught. I know Mihail for a while now and I must say that he is not only one of the best astrophotographers but also a very good person who is always eager to help people. I've been shooting nightscapes for a few years now but I must say that I always learn something new from him - he has an amazing vision for composition and make the photos standing out.

I've had the pleasure to attend one of his astro photo tours in South America and it was delightful. He had planned everything to the finest detail showing us amazing places I didn't know even exist and this was one of the best trips I've ever had - it was full of great memories and amazing captures of probably the best night skies I've ever seen !

I know Mihail from one of his workshops about Milky way photography and editing. He chose the place carefully, knew all the spots and guided us during the photography session. The second day there were lectures about retouching and he showed us the whole process and answered thoroughly the numerous questions. I can trully recommend him as a guide and teacher and also admire his photography like many others! Keep rocking!

I contacted Mihail fo a 1-on-1 on-line session because I needed some help to push my editing process a step further, and he was exactly was I was looking for. Everything was easy to arrange the session, and his explanations were clear and inspiring. I 100% recomend him! No doubt!

I know Mihail Minkov for more than a year and I went to 3 workshops for shooting the Milky Way organised by him. He helped me and the other participants learn how to shoot the starry sky and how to make our pictures amazing. I went to a trip to Bolivia and Chile this year organised flawlessly by him. It is the best place for astrophotography and he knows where to take you so that you will get the best photos of your life.

The best! Simply the master. If you want to know everything about landscaping astrophotography, Mihail is the right person. You can learn everything that you need plus all the experience this great human being has. He is always willing to help and what is also important for me is that he is well grounded, not pretentious even given all the worldwide awards he has received.

I was lucky enough to join the first tour in South America with Mihail and I must say it left a memorable mark in my experience as an astrophotographer enthusiast! I am going to go a bit deep as I feel it is needed to express my opinion. Like all new things the tour had its research phase and ups and down, but I must say that all was handled absolutely brilliantly and with an eye to the finest details. Mihail made sure everyone in the tour was well accommodated, taken care of and left with the most cherishable memories of a lifetime.
All the locations we visited were very well picked and thought through. And even though we were all in same location looking at same landscape, MIhail have a special eye for details and composition. His advises and teachings are at the top end and one can quickly see why he is so well recognised and awarded within the astrophotography community. He is also one of the most down to earth people I know who can chat about various interesting topics.
If someone wants to either get familiar with the basics of the astro and night photography or wants to explore the depths of this very peaceful and rewarding hobby/area in the finest details and learn the best techniques, Mihail is your guy!

I truly admire the work of Mihail and I'm following his adventures for a long time. Such an eye for detail, photographic taste and sense of balance. We already own two large format prints at home. Amazing atmosphere!

Definitely the best astrophotographer in Bulgaria. He is also internationally recognized. He organizes amazing workshops and astrophotography tours around the world. There’s so much you can learn from him.
