Very nice fabric, but not sure of the value and fit
Very nice fabric, and design and finishing seem to be good quality. But $9 to ship 60km is excrssive. Shirt is rayon...so wrinkles, and fit is snug. Despite ordering per the size chart, the blouse is a little "clingy" across the back. It will work under a blazer though. Can also see through the white fabric. Won't buy another Miik item without trying on. Wish the in person option was open Saturdays to accommodate those who work Mon-Fri.

I completely understand where you're coming from; shipping costs are frustrating all-around. We're also happy to have you refund or exchange your blouse within 30 days of it being delivered. We hope to continue to improve our shipping process for our customers, and we know those charges are never ideal. At this time, we are still a small business and our costs for shipping (even with a business account!) are very high.
Factors such as distance and package size and weight can increase the cost of the labels (even when not very far!), but we are doing what we can to mitigate costs where possible.
Unfortunately, huge corporations like Amazon have really skewed people's perspectives around free shipping — and it has become an expectation even of small shops, that at the end of the day would love to offer it, but just can't afford it. Free shipping is available on orders over $200 before tax, at the moment. For now, any chance we can make the process easier or more cost-effective for our customers, we take! I hope this helps clarify and we really appreciate you giving Miik a try!

Great Canadian Company
I can’t say enough positive things about my experiences with Miik. In addition to making beautiful clothing, the online shopping experience is seamless from start to finish including returns/exchanges. The Miik staff are prompt at responding to email inquiries and offering assistance. From the initial placement of an order to delivery Miik always keeps me informed of the progress. The same is true for returns. All my deliveries have arrived on time. Overall I would highly recommend this small Canadian business with big heart!
