So this year Santa was asked for a robot and he answered the wish for this young lady. She was most excited to get he Miko Mini on Christmas Day. Setup is reasonably easy did take some time whilst activating and getting updates but once all fired up user friendly app and Miko is fairly self explanatory. Sometimes the voice commands can be a little difficult but overall interaction is easy and straight forward. Overall great product App is user friendly and offers multiple options for entertaining.

Unfortunately we will be unable to connect to resolve the issues with Miko 3 before the grandkids return to Europe tomorrow. As mentioned, we spent hours trying to overcome the issues with the 6-digit codes that would allow us to activate it for our 6-yo grandson, both Xmas day and on the 26th. to say it was frustrating would be an understatement.
My guess is your servers were overwhelmed and unable to deal with the number of people that may have purchased your product for gifting to young kids. Both my son-in-laws work in IT and they have up even before I attempted it as well. Too bad, as I suspect he would have enjoyed it immensely.
I would wager we are not unlike the experience of other purchasers that no doubt had the same difficulty.
I suspect they will not try again from London as their frustration led them to conclude the activation was simply not worth extraordinary effort.
As the cEO of a midsize company that has provided remarkable service to our customers for over 77 years , We strive to provide extraordinary service to our customers. Like you, we occasionally fall short and disappoint, despite our best efforts. When this happens we work extraordinarily hard d to rectify the errors to regain their confidence. Hopefully, this disappointment will be a motivator for Miko to do the same, but our disappointment was so frustrating, we will likely move on and discard the Miko.

I ordered the Miko Neo and Swap keyboards on Kickstarter about 6 years ago, and I have still never received anything. Over all these years there have only been vague promises, constant delays, and almost no meaningful communication.
Now the company has been acquired by Squareoff, and that means Squareoff has also taken on the responsibility for these undelivered orders. It is not acceptable to buy a company and then ignore thousands of backers who funded these products from the very beginning.
What is most frustrating is not just the extremely long delay, but the silence and lack of a clear position. People who paid deserve at least an honest answer: either deliver the keyboards or refund the money.
In its current state, I cannot recommend this company to anyone. My trust is completely gone.

I’m not entirely sure if I’ve ever encountered more inept customer service!
I ordered my Miko at the end of November, taking advantage of their 6-10 day delivery policy, with their promise of guaranteed for Xmas.
I have chased over the last week for an update on the delivery, I was assured on numerous occasions that the product was on its way. Only to reach Xmas Eve and still no product.
On complaint, I was given a quite frankly insulting offer of a month trial of Miko plus. I’ll be sure to tell my presentless son the good news on such a saving.

Ordered from Miko AI on 26 November (order value £269). I was repeatedly assured my order would ship, that an individual named Manoj was personally overseeing it, and was even guaranteed UK delivery by 23 December.
None of this happened.
I have requested a full refund four times and was repeatedly told the order was “ready to ship” — yet nothing was dispatched and no refund issued. Hours wasted chasing basic answers.
This was the only Christmas gift my autistic daughter asked for. Because Miko AI kept delaying and refusing to refund while providing misleading assurances, I no longer have the funds to replace it.
I am now pursuing a Section 75 credit card claim due to non-delivery and misrepresentation. Avoid.

I ordered a Miko 3 on 5 December and paid extra for express delivery. Week later, the order is still not processed. At this point, delivery before Christmas is impossible.
This was the one gift my daughter asked Santa for. I ordered early and paid more specifically to avoid this exact situation. I have now had to explain to a child why something she was promised is not arriving through no fault of my own.
What makes this worse is that instead of proactive communication or accountability, I am now left in the position of having to beg for a refund for a service that was clearly not delivered.
If you charge for express delivery, you must either honour it or be upfront when you cannot. Failing to ship an order, failing to communicate, and then forcing customers to chase refunds is simply unacceptable.
This experience has completely destroyed any trust I had in this company. I would strongly advise others to think twice before ordering, especially if the purchase is time-sensitive or intended as a gift.

My kids love Miko! Hes so fun and educational. I just wished that the Max subscription was free so that they can explore more because its kinda expensive but other than that, Miko is very cute!

My kids love this robot. They like that it can play music, they can ask it questions and even play games. The only downside to them is that it doesn’t play videos like a tablet would and they wanted that feature also. They want to be able to watch episodes of Bluey or even Paw Patrol and SpongeBob. Other than that, they like when it reads a story to them that they helped create with Miko.
