A complete con
Don't buy
Don't buy, scam company. Now closed their website and ignoring all emails, despite spending £90 with them. Reviews at the time of order were good.
Items never arrived
I saw the Facebook advert and read the reviews on the website which at the time were good. I ordered some items in July as a birthday gift in good faith. The tracking for them showed them as being delivered to a store about 10 miles from my home on 25/7 but no details of it. I contacted M&R to see if they could give me further information on its location. They responded that the goods had been delivered. It was at this point that I started to see all the negative reviews and realised that the company was not genuine. We put in a claim with our credit card company and got a refund for
the goods. Now several weeks later ( 4/10) M&R are disputing the claim and have sent documents to support this claim- a Google map showing where I live as proof of location the items were sent to, and a tracking record showing the town in which the store is, but no name of it. They also state that the parcel was delivered to the recipient ( but no photo or signature ). In addition they say I haven’t followed procedure for a return - I can’t as I never received the goods. I’ll be taking this further. I now notice that the shop website has been closed down too.
Would give No Stars
Would give No Stars - not an option.
Rubbish product - took months to arrive. Wont reply to emails. Ignored requests for return form.
Rubbish tat
Resembles the stuff you’d see at a cheap tat shop in Benidorm haven’t bothered sending back had dealings once before with china not worth the hassle a total scam hopefully your reading these reviews before placing an order
I too believed the story
I too believed the story and bought 3 items, one pair of earrings arrived damaged and sending them a contact us request I did get a quick reply and they offered a replacement. i thought all was going well but 5 week slater the replacement item has not turned up, I've sent numerous chasing emails with absolutely no response, so disappointing and a terrible way to run a business. i thought I was buying from a UK company. The website is very misleading. unlike some others, i actually like the products I've bought. It's the customer service which is so terrible.
This company are an absolute joke rip…
This company are an absolute joke rip off cheap tat do not buy from these people took nearly 6 weeks to arrive and when it arrived I’ve had better from a coin pushing machine in an amusement arcade!!! Try to make contact numerous times but the email address does not exist. Neither do any numbers.!!!
Avoid
Very poor quality product, cheap and not as described. No reply from customer services, a complete con. Avoid.
Not a Good Experience
If I could choose no stars I would. Ordered a ring following the sizing guide online, ring arrived nearly 4 weeks after ordering from China. So much for the story of a single Mum making jewellery!!!
The ring is far too big, I have contacted them several times with no response
Avoid at all costs
An absolute con. Took nearly 4 weeks for the order to arrive from China. Website says handcrafted, but highly doubt this. Advertising with Royal Mail for delivery which is not true. Contacted for a refund and unsurprisingly no response. A very expensive mistake. Do not use, avoid, avoid avoid!!!
DO NOT GET SUCKED IN
DO NOT GET SUCKED IN - FAKE ADVERTISING
like so many others I’ve been sucked into this “genuine” story of mum and daughter having to close the business down. Wish I’d read reviews first.
I actually received the 2 rings unlike some but one was faulty and both were the cheapest looking rings I’ve ever seen.
Tried to request return - refused but offered replacement - why would I want to replace bad quality for the same bad quality?
Requested alternative and tried to choose something that might be a little better so at least I could have something fit my money but no reply despite several emails.
No return address, not the company it appears to be - don’t get sucked in
DO NOT BUY FROM MILA AND ROSE
DO NOT BUY FROM MILA AND ROSE
Totally horrible experience
Ordered 3 items. Never received them. Contacted company several times, no response. Lost money
Please do not buy anythingmila&rose is a scam from this…
Please do not buy anything from this shop /company it’s a big scam
Iv bought 3 pieces of jewellery from them as it’s not the single woman and her daughter !!!!
The jewellery isn’t good quality !
Tarnishing already missing stone when arrived !
Iv contacted them 20-30 times by email ….. NO REPLY !!!!
If I was to buy something they’d straight away be in touch !
Never ever again will I fall from ordering on line again
And it’s so difficult to send face book and google a warning to remove mila&rose !!!! To safe people falling the same scam as I did
AVOID wish I’d seen reviews complete SCAM!
Saw a facebook advert, fell for story of closing down, website shows good reviews -and quality jewellery which is ‘hand picked’, states Royal Mail 48hrs delivery, took 3 weeks, tracking numbers not working, the cheapest crap I’ve every seen, weighs nothing, looks nothing like photos, from China - made for pennies, order not complete! Certainly not worth anywhere near the sale price I paid of £72, no replies to multiple emails! Now going to try claim money back via credit card
SCAM
Upper tat - Scam company not based in UK, all of the 5 star reviews seem to have been written by the same person using common British first names only- no one talks like that…. ‘Oh i felt so sparkly and elegant at the dinner party in my new crystal drop earrings’ …..laughable.
Advertising via FB as a family company…
Advertising via FB as a family company offering huge discounts as they are having to close. Add to the mix a photo of a mother who you assume is the owner, with a small Girl. You’ve got yourself one sob story that’s not hard to believe given the fact so many genuine small businesses are closing. You also believe they are in the UK. They are not and the order a small ring, took weeks to arrive. Is nothing but flimsy tat from China. Once bitten never again.
Fell for the sob story
Feel totally scammed by the website, fell for it hook line and sinker.
Definitely not a boutique business run by a single mum for her daughter. Website suggests its a local shop and funnily enough doesn't say that their international warehouse is based in China. The quality is terrible one of the necklaces is the wrong one, the other is so small it's more of a choker, or designed for a child. I have reported to advertising standards.
SCAM COMPANY AVOID - OPEN SECTION 75 refund with card provider to get your money back
SCAM COMPANY AVOID NEVER BEEN SENT SUCH POOR Quality ITEMS AND ONE IS MISSING. Their website is totally misleading. Only found out it was Hong Kong based when it showed up on my bank statement thankfully I always pay by credit card so opened a section 75 refund to get my money back.
Sent email for a refund request no reply and one item remains outstanding.
Trading standards will be also informed owing to their fraudulent use of ‘trust pilot’ logo, copyright infringement and fake reviews that are false and made up!!!
Fake company SCAM!
Fake company sucking people into their tale of mum closing business down, Mika, to look after her daughter, Rose. Photos are fake. Business registered in Hong Kong.
Bought 3 items, 1 was good actually but the other too were so cheap. Can't get a refund due to items being 'on sale' everything is on sale. They gave me a code which doesn't work and now website says it can't accept payments, even when I have nothing to pay!!!?!!
Still trying to get something back from them! It's now August!
