Have been using for years. All of a sudden the last couple of months haven’t been logged and there is no way to generate reports so months and months of trips are lost. Ghosted by support. Website down. Seems like the app is caput. Absolutely shocking seeing as I’ve payed money for this. Furious doesn’t begin to describe how I feel

Recorded first trip. None of the others for the month. And yes I went thru the checklist on troubleshooting to fix. Had to manually add all unrecorded trips. Thought that was what I was paying for. Nonsensical distinction on work and business trips. Beware.

Tracks only a few trips every month, so I need to put in almost everything manually by the end of the month which is exactly what I wanted the app to take care of. Very unreliable. Also shows wrong times. It used to work better, but now I have given up.

Do not save all trips. I have been using work hours enabled, meaning it would auto classify my trips during set periods. It does not. It asks for a classification, and if i do, it deletes the trip. It has not saved a trip for a month now, even though it registers the trip and i get a notification on my phone. So something is really wrong. And this for a 80$/y app. Really, really, bad.

And p.s I dont know how many times i have reinstalled the app.. does not help...

I hate to give it one star because that overrates it. The app is horrible it goes off and on all day. It records a new trip not just for red lights but for stop signs. It changes its settings from business to personal at will. Sometimes it will record a trip and then a few hours later to review and it has stopped. I take a picture of my odometer before the day and at end of day and scores of mileages are not recorded. Probably best for unsavory companies to use because the errors will be in their favor. NOT to be used for personal use.

I drew almost 30.000 km in my company car and when the year was over and I drew the report it had only caught 8000 km. Now I have to use weeks on trying to recover where I drew the whole year of 2017. Hate it!!

I was looking for an app to log my miles and came across Milecatcher.
Initially looked very promising then found that the app was not catching all the trips. I contacted the author and was told to re-install and try for a couple of weeks which I did.
The app is buggy. It will not catch all my trips and also not very accurate and recording wrong locations on even though I had pre-entered my regular routes. I also noticed that the app crashed when trying to add a trip or trying to get a report.
Contacted the author and apart from suggesting re-install of the app, I have had no response so far. I wanted to get the data of my rides and I cannot get at the data. Feel abandoned. Will not be using this app and very disappointed!!

While it cannot make me remember to take my cell phone with me on a trip, if my cell phone is with me Milecatcher runs flawlessly in the background. It gets all my data and will report it for tax purposes. I have only one question: Where was this some years ago?
