I spent 2 years shopping for Chateau from the US in advance preparation. It became clear I needed a buyers agent and Ben & his team bubbled to the surface. Long story short; I closed on a near perfect chateau in Jan '25 and never looked back.

Ben first identified potential properties in the region I specified, then we narrowed the field together as he quickly understood what I was looking for. He did the legwork for me, visiting properties with an inquisitive eye and ear. I felt fully informed.

At the end, I was torn between two properties and when I made my choice, Ben ethically and kindly informed the other choice of the decision as they had a time crunch as well. I was impressed how he handled this so thoughtfully. In negotiations, Ben was able to assist me in working with a seller who was loathe to budge an inch.

Finally, I'd like to think that in working with Ben, I made a friend rather than simply conducted a transaction.

Ben was able to understand what we were looking for by presenting choices even before we left NA. Immediately when we arrived, we started touring homes lined up for us. It didn't take long to find our dream. He was able to walk us through every step of our purchase and was a valuable asset for information saving us much time and energy. Ben is very well organized and keeps communication open and accessible. I would highly recommend him and his team

We engaged Milieux to purchase a chateau in France. As Australians we knew nothing, including the language. Ben and Lois were outstanding in guiding us through the entire process. I was originally going to use a different buyer's broker for my apartment search and purchase, but when the time came to sign the contract there was an additional 3,000 Euro fee that had not been discussed or disclosed, and some of the services they said were "included" in the fee structure were suddenly not included.  Taking a chance on a simple Google search, I found Milieux Property and Ben Ashcroft-Dinning. From the beginning everything was very professional and friendly and we went over what was included and what was not. There were no surprise hidden fees or charges. Equally important, Ben and his team found me at least 14 properties to look at in Nice, France on a very modest budget. I noticed that the apartments were almost all listed by different agencies which shows Ben's ability to work with numerous agents/agencies to find the right property for his clients. Ben and his team were a pleasure to work with and I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of a buyer's broker in France.

I used Milieux Property to acquire my French Chateau after 4 years of trying to do it myself from the U.S. When Château de la Chevronnais came online, Ben immediately sent it to me, scheduled one of the first visits with the agent and was there within days. We knew we had to move fast to lock it down. As my eyes and ears, he sent videos / photos and we had hours long conference calls. It was like having a real partner in the process who was invested in the success of the outcome. He helped me weigh the pros and cons, surrounded me with good people, and took the guess work out of the entire process. He never once lost his cool or sense of humor and there is no way I could have done it without him! Ben has become one of my favorite people and a dear friend which is an added bonus.
