I have recently purchased a rise and recliner chair for my father . The chair is of really good quality and reasonably priced compared to other companies I visited . The staff at both the Heywood and Oldham branch were very knowledgeable and caring. Nothing was too much trouble .Overall the service was excellent .

First class customer service and not pushy

Christine was great from the moment I went into the Oswaldtwistle store. I knew which power chair I wanted to see. And she was so knowledgeable about it. She spent time with me, making sure she understood the reasons I wanted a power chair instead of a scooter. She allowed me to try the chair I was looking to get. There were no times where I felt she was pushing a sale. It was all about what I needed.
I ordered the chair and she got in touch the moment it arrived. It took less than 2 days! When I went to pick it up, it was all set up for me and she had been charging it too. She checked I was safe and able to use my chair and then helped me to load it into my car.
Honestly, my experience was brilliant.

Millercare Blackburn disgusting work practices

Millercare Blackburn did a repair on my late father’s mobility scooter with a cost of £685. My father told us the repair was significantly less as he must have been embarrassed to tell us before he passed. The mobility scooter was still in millercare when he passed away so they offered £500 for it which was accepted. I feel totally disgusted with the way the practice in my mind they have made money twice on a dead man
After a phone call today they refused to budge on refunding the amount that was just spent with them

Had an emergency situation

Had an emergency situation, elderly relative coming to live with us. Dad is 83years old has mobility issues. We needed some advice on a reclining chair and other equipment. We called into the Oswaldtwistle branch yesterday spoke to Denise who was extremely helpful, today we went back and spoke to Claire and another gentleman member of staff. All I can say is the level of service, help etc we received was excellent, they went out of their way to help us I would highly recommend anyone who finds theirselves in a similar situation to call into millercare Oswaldtwistle thank again.

Purchased a magic 360 wheelchair in…

Purchased a magic 360 wheelchair in March 2024 at a cost of £15k and the after sales care is abysmal.
I have issues with the leg rests and the headrest needs replacing which have been ongoing for weeks...twice they have promised to call out and fix the faults but have cancelled both times.
The shop staff can't help me and they tell me the director Tara Butterworth isnt responding to calls or emails.
An absolute scandal.
I'll be going to the radio press tomorrow if I don't get a response.

My wife and I visited the Preston…

My wife and I visited the Preston branch recently in order to purchase a chair lift and were assisted by Cath Hind who helped us with our query. She visited our home later that day to ensure we purchased the right product and yesterday it was fitted in no more than five days which is a fantastic service. She also helped us select two other aids for using our shower safely ( an electric lowering bath seat) when I had been contemplating an expensive building extension. The whole experience has been really positive from the initial telephone contact and life overnight is so much easier for my wife now with Cath Hinds help.
