RACISM IS BACK IN THIS PLACE

DAVENPORT, FL LOCATION,

Myself and my partner were discriminated against and racially profiled at this Miller's Ale House by the greeter when entering. Myself (a black man) and a (black woman) went here to eat lunch and as soon as we walked in, their was no one at the stand but when she arrived a minute later, she just looked at the woman I was with and did not greet at all. Very rude, just staring at my partner.

She asked "how many" and "where we would like to be seated"?. We said "in a booth". The hispanic greeter, told us to have a seat and it will be about 5 minutes, she's going to have someone clean off the booth that was free" , next to the bar.

She then made no contact with anyone to clean off the booth, as we sat down by the front door. Another Hispanic family (walked in after us), and the female spoke to the greeter and then the greeter took the hispanic family to a booth, while we had to wait for a booth still.

After about 10 minutes of waiting, no one had cleaned off the booth by the bar, we were not seated at a different booth, we had to continue to wait. I went to the restroom and I walked to the empty booth by the bar and notice it was clean, the seats were clean, the floor was clean, the table was clean with a few drops of water on the table. The greeter made no contact with any waitress to clean the booth, probably because the waitress assumed the booth was clean, because it was clean.

Nothing was wrong with the table and we could have been seated a long time ago. I have been seated at booths for years in Florida and those few specs of water on the table, was no reason to not seat us. It was not even any crumbs or anything. She could have easily sat us there.

I went to the bathroom, came back out and still my partner had not been seated at that booth or any booth. I asked the greeter what's wrong with us just sitting at the booth, she went to look at it and said "it's not clean", but it was clean. She was being very rude and clearly had a problem with black people, so now I got a problem with her and this company.

Another 10 minutes of sitting and standing past, and we finally said "let's just sit at the bar." The bar tender came to greet us and I told her we had been waiting for the booth right behind us.

She roles her eyes, leaves the bar, and within 30 seconds of me turning around and looking at the booth, she was sitting another hispanic party at that booth. The bar tender wipes the few specs of water off the clean booth, then sits the hispanic guys down.

We decided to leave this company with racist employees and head next door to Chilli's. We were immediately greeted at Chilli's by a friendly woman who sat us down, we were served , ate, and out of chills within 30 minutes.

This hispanic greeter seated 2 hispanic parties at booths, that all came in after us 2 black people. I will never, ever give any Miller's Ale House my money ever again.

We thought we would give the restaurant…5 stars because they kept their word.

We thought we would give the restaurant another chance since our very first visit was not pleasant. I have to say that Shane and Trinity made everything wonderful. This was at Hixson #117.My husbands prime rib was excellent this time. Last time was over cooked and tough and hard to chew. The manager on duty last time didnt seem to care. This time Trinity and Shane gave us a great and pleasant experience. They both need some kind recognition and reward. 😁

Two places i support, Davenport and Daytona Beach for Millers

Two places i support - first one is Daytona Beach, Florisda - it is not in same order- like first one or second one - both the locations are equally great.
Nice place I was there on 07/04/2022 12:54 PM Eastern.... Server was Tyler- was amazing.- Patio Bar
Other than i went previously on opening week ...close to June 27th 2022.
June 27th was the first day.
People who work in that Daytona Beach were in amazing.

sorry about that i did not write down all the names in Daytona Beach.
I also need to find in Daytona Beach, Florida...names of good people..Till now not found...i searched across in receipts, Yelp or google ....cant find it.
but ensure to put a nice note for them for whatever cost- Please inform the upper management...it is really long- i have brother Mr. Tyler as of now - i cant find where i wrote other names.

happened twice.
Great job by Ms. Christy -even though she looks like a manager-she is very effective- she came and confirmed since we take only vegetarian -i was driving from Tampa to Orlanod on the way from our business meeting.
i wanted to personally thank i did not write down the bartender name...but i remember Christy easy to remember she came and asked me if certain soups have non-vegetarian-she wanted to take care- i asked her she is a manager-she is another bartender on other side-i was shocked, very smart, quick, healthy, helpful, customer service.. please ensure both are recognized...sorry to be brutally honest, ethical and integrity...speeak my mind at my oldest age -asian indian thick accent

Twenty years a customer feeling disappointed

After 20 years and many a meal in Millers on International drive tonight was our last. The place had at least 15 empty tables yet we were told there was a 35 minute wait so we waited. The new staff they have are inept the portion sizes have gone down and prices up. They seem to care more about the takeaway side of things they started up during the height of the pandemic. If the owners or top management care at all they need to send some undercover customers in to do a full report or risk their business going down the pan. RIP Millers you were good for a long time sadly that time on International Drive seems to have passed.

terrible customer service

I went to the Rockville location on 3/27/22 . I walked in nobody was up front . I waited awhile to be help . When finally placed my order which was only two items . I received cold food it only took 10 minutes to receive and everything was cold . If my food came out 10 minutes ago my mozzarella sticks should still be cheesy not stale and cold .Terrible I called several times no answer . I couldn’t go back

They responded on my review and of course I reached out to them the manager responded via email and asked me if I would like a gift card or when I came in I will receive a credit on my next meal I responded and have not heard back from them since then
They always respond on your review to make themselves look good

We had friends come into town and make…

We had friends come into town and make a lunch date at Miller's Ale house in Winter Garden, Fl. This was my first time to this chain. We had a party of 12. They couldn't accommodate inside so we took outdoor seating. It became apparent that this wasn't going to go well, when we were told that we could only put two table together which would seat eight. The other 4 people would have to sit at the outside bar or sit at a 2 person Bistro table. We went back and forth with manager who said that they couldn't take chairs from another table and they could not take chairs which were stacked against a wall. We stayed only because the children were hungry. I went in at a 11:30 to get seating. We didn't get served until after 1:00. Several of our party who had to seat at the outside bar to eat were treated very rudely by the bartender who announced "it was her Bar and she could do what she wanted as far as service". When the food finally arrived I was very disappointed, the meatloaf was bland, the mashed potatoes lukewarm. The only tasty and hot item on my plate was the gravy. I can't review as to other Miller ale Houses, but I definitely would not recommend this particular site. Our waitress was friendly and apologetic for the circumstances. She was the only bright spot in a very disappointing situation.

Miller's Ale House serves simply fantastic good quality food

Miller's Ale House serves simply amazing food! Every time we visit from the UK we make a point of visiting Miller's Ale House. They have 'specials' including lovely lobsters and my particular favourite a whole rack of ribs which while I should share with my partner I find I eat the entire whole rack all by myself! While the entire menu is very comprehensive - I also think their steaks are great! They are simply terrific as are the lobster specials. I just wish I could convince the management to open a UK branch. I'd probably eat there nearly every night!
