It was easy to order online and there…
It was easy to order online and there was a good selection of bouquets. However, I didn't receive a confirmation email of the booking and the mobile on the Dublin website was not contactable. I managed to get through to the Galway office who confirmed my order, were very polite and professional. I received the receipt of payment and an email advising of the delivery.
Very disappointing service
I was very disappointed in the change of practices from Mimosa Flowers. I have used this company for many years and have always loved their personal service. I was used to receiving a video of the flowers before they were dispatched and notification of delivery direct from Mimosa. I ordered flowers at 11.12 on Monday and was very disappointed that they could no longer offer same day delivery (from Bray shop to Greystones). The flowers were delivered by DPD in a brown packing box the following day. The box was so non-descript that my daughter didn't even open it until that evening because she assumed it was a delivery of medical supplies for a sick family member that she had ordered. The delivery of flowers is an intrinsic part of the experience - they should be a lovely surprise and not just a cardboard box left at the front door. I have no idea if the flowers measured up to what I had ordered in the absence of the usual video.
Order not delivered, charged, and no customer service
I ordered flowers on the 28th May for delivery on the 14th June, order was accepted, I was charged €55. On the 15th June I confirmed with recipient, that no order was received. I tried ringing the advertised number, multiple calls to the landline were unanswered, call to a mobile went to a lady's voicemail that didn't have anything to do with Mimosa Flowers from what I could gather - now that number is apparently not recognised. Any of my emails received a postmaster undeliverable email. I'm not sure how I can get my money back and have yet to hear back from anyone despite numerous attempts to receive support.
An order placed from Florida to Dublin
I was placing my order from Florida in the US to my aunt in Ireland...the online ordering was easy but when I got a video of the order I was impressed. Thank you for doing that, it was awesome.

Mimosa flowers gave a 5 star service! I wanted specific flowers ordered for a birthday present and the owner ordered them in especially. The bouquet was the best I have ever seen and lasted so long. I will definitely use them for all my flower deliveries in the future.

Mother's Day order did not arrive
Placed an order for an orchid on Thursday 7 March to be sent as a Mother's Day gift. I was sent a video of the order (bearing the correct address) on 8 March, but by Mother's Day 10 March it still hadn't arrived.
I contacted the number on the website, which connected me to someone who was working remotely and who therefore wasn't able to access information about the order. They did, however, apologise and assure me that the item would be delivered to the recipient on Thursday 14 March, with a little something extra to make up for the delay.
My mother waited all day on Thursday 14 March, and her 4-days-late Mother's Day gift still didn't arrive. I am incredibly disappointed that the gesture of appreciation that I hoped to make on her special day never arrived to her, and I can't even begin to imagine the disappointment she must feel.
STAY CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY
Honestly 1 star is actually 1 too many. Spent 90 odd on a bouquet of flowers for Mother’s Day which was meant to include chocolates and a balloon. They’ve ignored every single one of my emails, they did not deliver on the requested date and delivered two days after Mother’s Day? What’s the point in that? They’re customer service is shocking, looked for a full refund and of course ignored and ignored. My best advice is to stay well clear of this company, never ever order anything from here! Have to now go the long winded way of disputing with my bank etc.

Terrible Service
I ordered the flowers on Saturday, to be delivered on Sunday. The company were happy to accept the order but I then got an email on Sunday evening saying that due to a high volume of orders that they would be delivered on Monday.
I heard nothing on Monday and the flowers weren't delivered.
On Tuesday, I was sent an email to show me a video of the flowers in the shop. When I asked why they hadn't been delivered and when they would be, I was assured that it would be on Tuesday. They were still not delivered.
Only yesterday (Wednesday), after I requested a cancellation and refund, were they finally delivered in the afternoon.
I would advise to use a different florist if you are ordering from abroad and actually want the flowers to turn up anywhere near the scheduled time

Non delivery
Non delivery, was promised delivery every day for four days, flowers never arrived. Their customer service department needs to go back to customer service school. Awaiting a refund now, don't hold out much hope of that either.

Very helpful - they sent an email with a video of my flowers BEFORE sending out. A nice touch. My mum loved the flowers as well. They also sent email confirming delivery completed (this was very helpful as I live abroad)
