My experience with Min A-kasse wasn't horrible, but it wasn't flawless either.
First and foremost is the way Business Denmark and Min A-kasse were introduced to me. There we a couple of representatives that came to Dania Business Academy somewhere in the middle of the first school year and introduced Business Denmark and Min A-kasse in a way that seemed to perfect and easy to be true. According to them, both Business Denmark and the A-kasse department would take care of me both financially and career wise after I graduated school, and all that was required from me, was to graduate and be a member for more than a year. Well, it turned out to be way more complicated and twisted, which was somewhat disappointing because my expectations were different. Non of the actual processes that take place after the graduation were explained by the representatives, which lead me and other people crate a deceptive image of what actually the A-kasse is and how it works. In other words, it was a false advertisement. Perhaps, this would not emerge as an issue amongst the Daish community as they are familiar with the concept, but from my perspective as an international, if I am told a representative of the company will be explaining how the system operates, I would trust them on 100% as they were sent to familiarize us with the idea of A-kasse.
Moving year and a half forward, to June 14th 2021. That was the day I had my final exam and due to the corona restrictions there was no graduation ceremony, therefore once I was done with my final oral exam I was done with my AP agree. Again because of the falls advertisement, I had no clue I was supposed to register as unemployed in Jobnet.dk. In my mind, once I graduated I was going to be taken care off. Then I found out, I have to contact business Denmark and the A-kasse department, so I did.
Once I had established the connection, I started experiencing something that I have noticed it's quite common in Denmark, as if its almost part of the culture. Almost every time I would call Business Denmark or the A-kasse department I was constantly getting transferred from one person to another, I spent more time on the waiting line than I spent talking to the customer service. Seemed like that majority of people had the capacity to answer 1 or 2 questions max. Everything beyond that would cause them to "panic" and I would get transferred to someone else. It's needless to say that some of them wouldn't even try to answer my question, they would simply say " I don't know, let me transfer you to someone who does". Well that next someone would to the same. To be honest it felt a little bit like a video game and every time I would get transferred was like moving to another level, until I reached the final boss (that being the person who would at least make an effort helping me). If those people cant answer questions and don't have the necessary knowledge to do that. Why are they even on the phones working as customer service?? It also needless to say how many times I've heard the line "It's not part of my job", well I am sorry, but if you are put behind the phone, everything connected with helping customers over the phone is a very big part of your job.
Last but not least... . Unfortunately for me, I was quite sick for 3 days and one of those days I was meant to have the CV-talk. Well, no one had told me that in advance and all the information I had received a day before the actual phone call. As I was not aware of all the "rules" and the fact I had to register myself as sick on jobnet.dk resulted me to lose some of the dagpenge because I did not answer the call and also because I did not inform them I was sick. If I knew I had to inform them of course I would 've done so. But again, the rules were not made clear to me so how am I expected to follow them, if I had not been introduced to them. I believe that you should start paying more attention to your international members and make sure they are well informed.

The help and assistance got from Min AKasse has been quite good due to the fact it can be quite confusing with "things to be done" in different sites/places. Thanks to the team for advice on how to work in this framework.

Man får en masse SMS'er og emails om at der er post i a-kassens Selvbetjening (som man SKAL læse) men Selvbetjening fungerer rigtig dårligt i mobil-browsere og der er ingen app.

Helpful and Understanding Staff.
I needed to make some on the spot changes to my A-Kasse, due to my situation changing. I called the support help line, talked with one of the support staff who directed me to the necessary forms. It was a fast and pleasant experience.

The beginning of my process was quite confusing. I felt there was some lack of organization/communication amongst workers.
I must highlight a lovely phone call I've had with one of the workers (very caring human being). Not all are like that (I actually had one raising her voice at me once, for something that was as a direct result of their miscommunication and called me a liar) but despite this, I believe most do their best to help throughout this process - which can be pretty challenging, especially if you are foreign.
This has been my very short experience so far, and one can only hope it continues like that. Fingers crossed.

I received useful tips for improving my cv and cover letters.
The A-Kasse showed real interest on my case, taking the time to answer all my questions, reviewing my documentation and always displaying professionalism and understanding.
