I would give zero stars if I could

I would give zero stars if I could. I signed up for and paid for 3 months at a discounted rate. Immediately, I regretted it. When I looked at the refund policy, I knew I couldn’t get a refund, okay. I accepted that. However, I cancelled in app so that it would not renew!!! I know for a fact I did this because I didn’t have a job (so finances are tight) and no way I wanted to pay 70.00 bucks for an app I didn’t want. I did this cancellation well before the renewal day but they still charged me!! When I saw they charged me, I went into the app and again, cancelled in the app for the next (upcoming)billing cycle, in case they are gonna try this in the future and emailed them. App said again, it was cancelled. Then I sent them an email and explained what happened and they are asking me for proof that I cancelled the first time. FUNNY THING IS… they don’t send you any confirmation email when you cancel in the app. I know this for certain because, as I just said, when I saw the unapproved charges, I went in and hit cancellation and still, NO EMAIL confirmation. Very convenient for them. They don’t say you have to email them to cancel, that you can just easily cancel in the app but that’s how they scam you because they don’t send proof you cancelled afterwards and then demand proof to get a refund! Wild! I wouldn’t be writing this novel if I wasn’t sure I cancelled already but I know I did because I didn’t like it and don’t have a job (do not have money for this). Disputing with my bank now. RUN, this app sucks.

I love it!❤️❤️❤️

I love it! It really helps me cope with my choices I have already made and calm down, it happens. But the key is if it does let it. So let it make you feel happy progress, eating something healthier, less calories, more cheering for yourself and greater results. Let the app talk to you as you go on. Press the panic button it also feels like a reset were you don't start over. Let it coach each time put the routine in your own perspective and let it make you happy. That's the key for me and I've kept 10 pounds off now for 2 weeks and I'm working out again and my attitude is better, I'm more focused, my mind is clear, and bed time is more silent. I feel more appreciation.❤️

I saw a charge on my account I didn’t…

I saw a charge on my account I didn’t recognize, and it was actitech/mindea.cy. I didn’t sign up for this app, and they took my money any ways. I must have downloaded it, and cancelled immediately after looking at it, because I honesty don’t remember it. I’m very aware of scams and trials, but usually I cancel immediately even during a trial or free period if I don’t like something, as I’m sure a lot of people do. So it looks like, if you cancel a trial period/free period, they still auto-subscribe you. This company has deceitful practices, stay away!!!! When I complained, they cancelled it, but prior to that they took 200$ from me for something I must have trialled and cancelled. When I asked for a refund, they said no, and offered me a year free for an app I don’t even use or remember what it was for. STAY AWAY … mediterranean diet menu subscriptions is just like this. Stay away from that one too!

Scam

Scam.
App is useless. Nothing to do with adhd, no new wow factor, just robbery of the vulnerable.
They prey of your vulnerability to sign up and stipulate in the small print you waive your eu right to cancel within 14 days.
Stay away!!! I thought I cancelled after the first week and they just went and took more money from me. No notifications of subscription due etc…

Awful app

Awful app, can't cancel subscription, Should have seen the reviews first. I have one monthly plan and was charged for 3 months

( I have already canceled. The slicky procedure of charging me 80USD and never reimburse clients in this situation is outrageous and one of the reason you are getting so many 1 star reviews. Your answer just showns that you haven't even checked with your services if I had already cancelled the subscription...)

AVOID ACTITECH

I received subscription charges for Actitech which they claim are pre-authorised following a trial I signed up for. I realised it was a stupid mistake just after signing up for Mindea (mindful eating weight loss app). Apparently Actitech has numerous operating companies and they make their money by automatic renewal charges whether you use their app or not. I think they fall firmly into the fraudulent business category! They sent a letter/receipt on the same day as the charge stating that it is necessary to cancel at least one day before the renewal date. What use is that advice?

This company doesn’t deserve even 1 star!!!
I have been getting the runaround for two weeks now. No matter how many times I try to get them to cancel my account, they don’t do it. They only ask for information I do not have! I really don’t want to have to go through the inconvenience of cancelling my debit card, but I guess that’s the only way

Awful app it does absolutely nothing…

Awful app it does absolutely nothing but ask you how you're feeling every few days. Literally there is nothing at all about this app that benefits anyone. They scammed me out of money, refused to refund me and offered me a longer subscription instead, I originally thought it was kind of them until.I realised the app is completely pointless. I have no idea how this is still allowed run and be legal. It's literally a scam and they are just laughing at us. They are predators going for people who are hoping for help and support and all they do is rob people and offer no service at all. DONT FALL FOR THEIR SNEAKY ADVERT.

This company has awful customer service

This company is awful. This is handsdown the worst and most patronizing customer service experience that I’ve ever experienced.

I clicked through an ad and signed up only to find that AFTER sign up this app is not a web app but is a mobile app. My device was not compatible. Not a big deal…I email the company to explain that after going through the arduous process to just get signed up I found my device to be not compatible and to request a refund.

For some reason customer service seemed not to understand the issue at the beginning despite that it was very clear and the requested “photo proof.” After I sent photo proof they responded that buried deep in the terms of service on their page I would have found device compatibility requirements. They also circled them in the screenshot they sent back.

They refused to refund the $14.99 and instead offered one year of access (to an app that I can’t access) for “no charge” (that’s literally $180 lol)

Avoid, avoid, avoid.

I would give this company a zero if I…

I would give this company a zero if I could! I canceled the service within the day that I tried it as it wasn’t something I’d use and furthermore, couldn’t use because my phone was an android phone! Then, I emailed the support email twice to cancel as instructed. To my surprise they’re still charging me. That goes against their own terms since it was rightfully cancelled. I deleted the app the day I canceled and now can’t even get back in to see what else I can do. I did my part! I’m going to have to report this as fraud with the bbb and my credit card since they told me to contact the Mindea people first. I can't as they are not replying even as of today and so my only option is to report this. Otherwise, they keep on billing!

Not useful. Lied about money back guarantee.

First of all, the ad promises to help sign ADHD weight loss and impulse control. I purchased the 3 month program, which at the bottom says ,” money back guarantee”.

Three days into the program, I realize:
1. There’s nothing that specifically addresses ADHD.
2. It’s just a list of mini articles to read about weight loss.
3. A lot of it is mediation focused with breathing exercises and that’s just not for me. If I can’t get my mind right to do basic tasks, I’m not about to sit for five minutes breathing either.

I tried to get my money back within the week. The response was, “on our terms and conditions, which were in our website when you made the purchase…. It says no refunds”. I explained the money back guarantee part. And they insisted that oh well. I should have read the two pages of fine print. CLEARLY. I have ADHD. I’m not reading the fine print when in bold flashing letters it says money back guarantee.
Ultimately I had to dispute through my credit card.

Don’t get sucked in by the scam.

Auto-renewal fraud

I cancelled, as instructed, by mail, 3 weeks before renewal. Cancellation was clear and precise. Their support function replied acknowledging cancellation. 3 weeks later they take 3 months subscription fee off me. Replies only generate copy paste quotes of terms and conditions of cancellation/auto-renewal (none of which apply - I cancelled!). And offers for ‘free periods’.
It’s a total scam and apple pay is atrocious at letting this happen and offering no recourse. The auto renewal function on tr(apps) like this is utter fraud.
P.S. The response below is further disingenuous, copy/paste nonsense. The terms were a free trial. Cancellation within the trial period ended the agreement at the end of the trial period. Hence no renewal. Mindea failed to suspend the auto-renewal in line with their own terms and the agreement. By then withdrawing funds using the apple agreement and claiming it was an auto-renewal is, in fact, fraud. You might pretend it was erroneous but given your track record and depressingly similar horrendous reviews across this site, google and others, it looks like company policy. If it walks like a duck, talks like a duck, it almost certainly is - fraudulent Mindea.

AVOID! Save your $$

App is unreliable on my iphone and there's no refund policy. The ad I saw said there was, they post one on the website, but if you try they deny it. So now I'm out money for an app that I can't use and quite frankly don't want to after the crappy treatment.
