We spent ages looking around different kitchen companies. We wanted a traditional handmade style kitchen but didn’t have a huge budget. I got quotes from 5 different places but Minerva were not only really competitive but they offered a truly bespoke service. We worked mainly with Karl who was fantastic. He really understood what we were looking for and offered some brilliant suggestions. When the budget started to become stretched, he offered some sensible ideas on areas we could save money and where the important bits were to splash out a bit. I really felt listened to. They were hassle free to deal with. Very reliable with good communication and really clear invoicing with no hiddens. I also loved that they were local which was an important part of our decision to go with them. Would definitely recommend and have done already!

Every member of the team was great to work with, having an excellent ‘can do’ approach at every stage - From design to completion, they ensured the whole process was smooth & hassle free, working around some tricky issues, even those thrown in late in the day, with some skilful custom work.

Excellent and iterative design process, quality built cabinetry for a reasonable price, excellent fitters. Good flexibility around installation date due to ongoing build. They come when they say the will, and fix things with 3rd party (eg worktops) suppliers that aren't their fault.
Would recommend. A few more quirky/bespoke options for island design might be nice to add.

We decided to extended our house to allow us to have more space in the kitchen area, a new kitchen and more importantly an island. I had heard of Minerva as it is a local company with a good reputation and this is exactly what I found when we began to plan our dream kitchen.

From the outset the company couldn't have been more helpful. The designers knowledge and advice were second to none when it came to kitchen layout, white goods, colours, and they even managed to squeeze in a wine cooler into what limited space we had left in our island.

The fitters were polite, pleasant and more importantly very good at their job with nothing being too much trouble.

The cabinets and workmanship is fantastic. They take the time to make sure that everything from the colour, to the style of units will work in your space and importantly for me, if it won't they tell you why and then offer up alternatives and solutions.

After service has been fantastic and any snagging has been dealt with straight away with the fitters not leaving until you are completely happy with the work carried out.

I would and have already recommended Minerva to colleagues.

Minerva came to our rescue when we had been let down and had a short time to have a kitchen built and installed on time.
Karl suggested some good alterations to our original design and we worked together to get the interiors of the doors and cupboards just how we wanted them.
The kitchen is of excellent quality, the quotes were clear with no hidden extras and the worktops suggested look fabulous. There are always minor problems when working around other building taking place but we were very pleased with the finished kitchen. Thanks to Jordon for the follow up.

I've been looking to get my kitchen upgraded for a while but never really felt comfortable with any of the kitchen companies until I came across Minerva Design. Rosalyn helped me design a fabulous kitchen over a period of several months and Jordan and Chris came to fit it this August. What a superb job they've done, no issue was too big and apart from a couple of minor snags, which they've fixed promptly, I've had no major issues. Courteous, professional and the occasional laugh. What a great team! from the inception of contacting, and Rosalyn designing our wonderful kitchen. Everything we suggested they went out of their way to make it happen in the design. they have exceptional knowledge when it comes to design.
The initialisation guys went out of their way to work around, floor laying and decorators, going the extra mile regarding tiding up and cleaning at the end of each day.
They are the experts by far when it comes to design/ fitting kitchens. I am so glad that we decided to use Minerva design.

Working with Minerva to design and install our kitchen was a real joy. We were totally lost when we started the process, and Karl in the design team instantly put us at ease, giving us great design ideas and always being at the end of phone, via email and in person to help guide us – who knew choosing handles would be so difficult! He kept coming back to our original brief, that we wanted to be bold, and we are so glad we made the jump and went for a yellow kitchen, which we love and provides a really fun and bright space. We both love cooking and put the importance of a practical kitchen above everything and now we’re using it, it works amazingly for us, and the design input really helped with this.



The fitting team were also fantastic, friendly, tidy and they worked really well around our busy lives, boisterous dog and son. The workmanship is exceptional, and we’re delighted with the quality, with all snags dealt with efficiently and with a smile. We would recommend Minerva to anyone, using a local company really made a difference to us and we couldn’t be happier.

We are absolutely delighted with our kitchen from Minerva Design. The whole team have been nothing but extremely helpful, friendly and professional. The project went seamlessly, right from our first visit to the showroom, the original design to the final fitting of the finished kitchen. We had a great experience working with the whole team at Minerva Design. With the rise in building costs during our building extension we didn't think we could afford a bespoke Kitchen. However they respected our budget and found solutions to suit our needs and our space. The result is very impressive.

Immediately from our initial visit to the showroom right through to the finishing touches, we felt valued and well informed throughout the process.
With so many aspects to juggle with a house build, Minerva took some of the pressure right off our shoulders and conscientiously guided the way.

When we bought our current house – we soon realised that the kitchen in situ would need a huge rethink! We really wanted to use a local company, and for the last few years, I had been driving past Minerva, so as soon as I knew I was going to need a new kitchen-the obvious choice was to go to them. We couldn’t have been more delighted with the comprehensive service that they provided – attention to detail, great ideas and a stunning bespoke kitchen which has been much talked about since we moved in. Everything about it is fabulous-it is functional especially for a family of five but looks beautiful and individual and really is the hub of our home. I would have no hesitation in recommending Minerva to any of my friends , looking to have a new kitchen. Carl was so helpful and always on hand to answer any questions. The quality of the workmanship is exceptional – it really is my dream kitchen.

Our new kitchen has been in nearly a year now and we’re very happy with the end result. We opted for Minerva acting as project managers and it was good to be able to leave everything to them, particularly as the work entailed ripping out the old kitchen, re-plastering the whole room and ceiling and substantial electrical and plumbing changes. Minerva sourced and managed the various trades and, although there were a few problems along the way, these were all dealt with professionally by Matt and the team and we were always kept informed of developments. Minerva took us all the way from initial design with Karl, their head designer, to project planning and management (Matt, one of the directors) and installation/aftercare (Jordan and Ian). Minerva’s strength is definitely in their people and their top notch cabinetry. We were looking for a high-quality, handmade kitchen built to our specification, installed by a local company by professionals who could project manage things from start to finish and that’s exactly what we got. Anyone looking for the same should talk to Minerva first - looking at the rest of the reviews here, they have yet to drop below 5 Stars and we know why so we’re also giving them top marks.

Our experience of Minerva is overwhelmingly positive.

As an upfront statement, we’ve got a brand new bespoke kitchen that seamlessly fits our old barn, designed to make life as simple and ergonomically efficient as we wanted. And all at a very reasonable price.

We dropped into the showroom as it’s nearby and had a good chat with the lead designer Karl. The process was simplified by us having a pretty clear idea of what we wanted in a replacement kitchen. The design was quickly finalised and a window for installation was offered about two months later. The installers Jordan, Ian and Sam were all charming, hard working and determined to do a super professional job. We had a fair bit of plumbing and electrical work completed which has brought the kitchen up to date. Start to finish everything was completed in less than three weeks which fitted in neatly with some travel plans of ours. Plaudits should also go to the lads from Hereford Marble and Granite who installed the worktops and splashbacks. Their work was very neat and tidy.

We were extremely happy with the whole process and only have complimentary things to say about our experience with Minerva, we’d wholeheartedly recommend them if you are planning a similar project.

Final note - our dogs love their cubby hole built under the counter!

Minerva designed and fitted kitchen in our house, which is over 400 years old, we don't have a right angle in the house yet they came up with ingenious ideas to utilise every possible space. The team were on hand to answer any questions and the team of fitters were simply the best bunch of people. Can't praise them enough.

And so here's our review of our kitchen 2 years after it was installed. We have a busy household, children and dogs roam free. I am delighted to say that our kitchen has stood the test of time with no niggles or problems with anything. Not a single thing! and it still looks as lovely as the day it was installed.

Having a kitchen installed is probably one of the biggest expenses (after buying a house and car) and it's a room that is used everyday - constantly. It's not something that you rush into. Minerva gave us confidence to take that plunge! It needed to be stylish, practical and hardwearing and our kitchen is still just that - it's stood the test of time and still makes us smile when people come in and have that moment when they say 'wow'. When I found Minerva I found the solution to creating my perfect kitchen!
The team were awesome, Matt was great in offering ideas and solutions and guiding me in the right direction but he also listened to my ideas and helped me bring them to reality.
I wanted a kitchen that reflected our personality and fitted with the style of the house we were building.
The team helped me realise my dream, I wanted the inside of some cupboards to pop with a different colour and for some drawers to be just left without painting. The result was the stunning kitchen that I love more and more each day!
