Went to a dinner

Went to a dinner, no one showed up and the restaurant had never even heard of this. Tried to contact the company for a refund and it's impossible. On top of it, there's no way to cancel the subscription on the website so who knows if they're going to be ghost charging me for the next 10 years.. BEWARE

We take feedback like this very seriously. However, after reviewing all bookings and communications, we cannot find any record matching this situation.
We currently operate only in the UK and US, and all of our restaurant partners are confirmed in advance. Refunds and subscription cancellations are handled through customer support.
Please contact us at info@mingleo.com with the city, date, and email used to book so we can investigate immediately.

Beware recurring membership/ impossible to cancel

I’ve been to two events. Both were nice evenings but both venues had drawbacks (noise, table size)
However I have been charged a second months membership without being informed that this is a recurring subscription (definitely NOT made clear when joining) and I’ve had no response from the company when asking for a refund. Further there is no option on the website to cancel a membership.

Thank you for your feedback John, we are genuinely sorry for the frustration this caused.
After reviewing the situation, we found that your original email was mistakenly filtered into spam during a domain transition. As soon as we located it, we immediately cancelled your membership and responded to you directly.

To clarify: memberships are recurring, but they can absolutely be cancelled at any time - requests currently go through our support team, as we’re still in our startup phase and managing memberships manually. We’re actively building an app that will soon allow members to manage everything independently.

We truly strive to be responsive and attentive, and we’re continuously improving both our communication and event experience. Thank you for helping us do better!

Mingleo are your trusted specialists in personalised relationship building. I have been to several dinners, none of which have ever disappointed. Perfectly matched not only by age group but also in personality profiling, one is assured of meeting people who share the same or similar interests. If your goal is to make meaningful long-term contacts in a fun and relaxed atmosphere, then I cannot recommend Mingleo highly enough.

Mingleo Dinner Review 2026

I have just been to my second dinner earlier this week and am going to my third next week. What Mingleo has put together is fantastic. The team, whoever they are, select lovely restaurants, something different each week, great atmosphere, food and staff which, when you are dining with up to 8 strangers, makes the world of difference. I look forward to each Thursday evening with anticipation and excitement. So far, the two dinners I have been to have been completely different experiences with such a variety of interesting men in attendance. Thank you so much Mingleo for making January 2026 more cheerful and you deserve so much growth and following :)
