I had made a new charge beer

I had made a new charge beer. But I could not see it on my software. So I send a mail for help.
This was yesterday.
This morning Bart from Minibrew helped my to solve the problem. The system was stopped and Bart put the keg again in the fermentation mode and I saw the keg back in my software.
This was a very fast and professional help from Minibrew. Wel done and thanks for the good service.

No beer just stress and terrible service

I ordered the MiniBrew around July last year and have still not brewed a single drop of beer. Firstly there were numerous wifi connection problems which were blamed on my router purely because it's a Hub 1. Surely some kind of fix could be put in place? I was eventually asked to return the machine for testing. The replacement I received turned out to be a reconditioned unit. Obviously having paid for a new machine I was expecting a new machine. The reconditioned unit did not operate properly in the rinsing stage and appears to have a faulty pump. I am now being told that a server upgrade has caused even more problems, but no mention was made of the faulty pump in my reconditioned device or my request for a complete new machine to fix this problem. This whole experience has been a catalogue of disasters from start to finish. I cannot recommend this company or product based on my own experience which has been nothing short of stressful, and I am now considering seeking legal redress against MiniBrew as this shambles simply cannot go on.

The equipment itself is simple and easy, but

The equipment itself is simple and easy to use, lightweight, easy to transport and store. However, the system, its software, is quite rigid; after starting the brewing process, the system is intuitive and completely automatic, However, if you want or need to make any changes to the brewing or fermentation process, you have to pay a high price for a subscription, or it's practically impossible, always requiring you to send an email, Chat or any other time-consuming means of communication that they sometimes need to resolve remotely.

When I purchased the equipment, I thought I would have a bit more freedom to operate the product. The subscription fee becomes expensive for someone who brews once a month and wants more "freedom". For those who want access to recipes or support, it becomes restricted to an automated system with no possibility of changing anything at any point during fermentation.

Service improved

Update; 21-January-26
Communication from Minibrew and thinking along with me as a customer has improved a lot better. They explained the backlog in their logistics and helped me to get started brewing through their pro-tier which is possible as long you have the ingredients to start (which you can buy in any brewing-shop).

In December-2025 I enthusiastically purchased a Minibrew machine. I was really looking forward to brewing my first beer during the Christmas holidays. Unfortunately, that still hasn’t happened to this day.

After the purchase, I had to wait over a month for a brewing kit (and i’m still waiting and not receiving any replies). Without such a kit, the machine is simply unusable. Customer service indicated that other kits were in stock and would be shipped, but over two weeks have passed since then and I still haven’t received anything.

What makes this even more frustrating is that further communication from the company has completely stopped. Emails go unanswered and promises are not kept.

The machine looks great and promising, but so far I have literally been unable to do anything with it. The disappointment is huge—especially because this was the moment I had been looking forward to. For a product in this price range, this level of customer service is simply unacceptable.

Still Waiting After Over a Month—Disappointing Experience

Update 16/10/2025 - The response since my complaint has been much improved, thanks Minibrew for taking ownership over my issues and taking steps to address them. I'll update again once i've received the remaining parts of my order.

I ordered the Minibrew Craft Gen 3 on 3rd September, along with an extra Gen 3 keg. The offer included a starter kit and two free recipe packs, which I was excited to use to get brewing.

Unfortunately, the order process has been riddled with errors. I had to chase multiple corrections before dispatch, and despite raising concerns, a Gen 2 keg was sent instead of the Gen 3 I paid for. That was rejected and returned at customs.

It’s now 11th October and I’ve still not received the correct keg, the starter kit, or the recipe packs. I haven’t been able to brew a single batch.

I understand mistakes happen—but this has dragged on far too long. What should have been an exciting start has turned into a frustrating ordeal. I hope Minibrew can resolve this quickly and restore some confidence in their service.

I would buy it again

I think it is an amazing machine that makes brewing really easy. I used to brew with the traditional 3 pots setup and this is totally different. It's true that you cannot control some things during the process, but I love that it's easy to clean and that you brew small batches. Everything worked as expected and the support team is superb, they are there for you all the time.
The only things I don't like is that the UI for the recipes could be improved to be more complex and the subscription is too expensive for what the UI offers and just to be able to use a machine that you already paid a lot for.
The kegs work really well for fermentation, even for lagers, anyway in my hot weather in Spain it would be impossible for them to reach the clarification and serving temperature during summer, I knew that before buying anyway, it's just how they work. So be ready to buy extra fridge and kegs for that.
I would love if you can put the recipe on pause to add things to the boiling wort, that you cannot add through the hop carrousel, or just to measure density and PH without interrupting the system abruptly.

Machine looks nice but the subscription…

Machine looks nice but the subscription system is horrendous. I bought the regular subscription but I couldn't even register my device in order to brew the weekend where I had time to do so. They sorted the issue a few days later, but I had no chance to brew for the next few weeks, meaning I had paid to do absolutely nothing. My friend and I are doing a custom recipe which means I paid 44 euros to get an activation code to a higher level subscription for use whenever we need that. I have yet to receive the activation link, more than a month later. So far I've paid about 72 euros and I have nothing to show for it. Would be nice to have a pay per use or similar for those who can brew maybe once or twice per month.

I placed an order for a GEN 3 Pro

I placed an order for a GEN 3 Pro, 3 smart kegs and 2 brew packs in August 2022. Delivery was stated to be 6-9 weeks. I waited patiently for nearly 3 years for the product with no communication except an email August 2024 saying that they were ready to be shipped and I needed to pay EUR330 customs duty which I paid even though there was no mention of this when ordering. The hardware was delivered May 2025 but the brew packs were delivered much sooner (no use without the hardware). By the time the smart kegs was delivered, the brew packs were considerably out of date (they were almost out of date when they were delivered). I emailed asking for them to be replaced January 2025, and April 2025. I eventually got a reply saying that I should ignore the expiry date and should use them. I replied saying that this was unacceptable and they agreed that once I had received the kegs they would ship a replacement. I thought at the time that it would be nice if they shipped a replacement immediately so that I could do a brew straightaway. When the kegs arrived, I emailed them on 6th May asking for a replacement. No response. I emailed them on the 12th May, 28th May and 13th June. I’m still waiting for a response. In addition, they were unable to fulfil a small part of the order due to customs and fire risk but rather than providing a refund they offered a voucher, the value of which didn’t cover all items they could not deliver i.e. the CO2 cylinders. This is a company not geared around great service and not one you would recommend.

To clarify, our company is based in the EU, and unfortunately, we're not officially set up to support the Australian market.At the time of your order in 2022, during COVID disruptions, we were still navigating global logistics, customs limitations, and product delays.

You're right to expect better. We are reaching out to Kegland to arrange for a replacement for the expired brew packs as promised. Regarding the €330 GST, this is in line with Australian import rules.

We are also reviewing your voucher issue internally to ensure that any credit accurately reflects the actual value of the undelivered items.

We genuinely regret how this unfolded and thank you again for your early support and belief in the product. We hope to make things right and restore some trust.

Easy to use

Easy to use, need to be more clear about certain things like water connection or the keg needs to be all the time connected but in general great experience

They don't even rate 1 star!

Even after numerous complaints and promises. Letters to various agencies in my country and his, this company still trades.... unbelievable. Do not order anything from this company, you may not revieve it, and lose all your money. They wont give you a refund and all you get is another story. I've been waiting about 16 months..no product... no refund.... nothing but lies.

We triggered our automated process on February 7 when you first requested a refund. We learned that our payment processor won’t refund cards on orders over 12 months old from Australia, as the attempt couldn’t go through.

After discussing alternative refund options and to ensure you weren’t left waiting longer, we tried a few times via PayPal on April 20 and succeeded. We sent the transaction details to the email address on file.
