Inferior products, Childish owner, Bad customer service, and False advertising.
Owner is a scammer with a major attitude problem and is very childish. He obviously can’t handle criticism and won’t acknowledge problems with your order.
I bought 8 bodies that had cracks in the arms, misprinting, and damage. I paid a hefty price for these figures, yet I didn’t receive “premium” quality as falsely claimed on the website. I’ve shown pictures as evidence for the damaged bodies and the owner denied it and came up with bad excuses to justify his poor-quality control like arm cracks being "normal" on Lego torsos and “sometimes we miss cleaning up” was his lame response to scratched off UV printing on a body. This company has extremely unhelpful non-customer service. False advertising, inferior products, and no accountability from the owner.
This is by far the worst custom lego company rated on trustpilot for good reason. There are superior alternatives that treat customers better.

Bait and Switch/Awful (Inferior) Customer Service
Several of the bodies I purchased included errors. For example, while straps were printed on the front of the minifigures, they were not printed on the reverse side. When I approached customer service for a refund, I was told the printing error did not affect the quality of the body. This was a pretty asinine response. Bottom line, the printing was inferior and errored, but the really significant issue I have with this company is their frustratingly inferior customer service.
First edit: This cowardly reply is indicative of the customer service one might expect to receive alongside errored (inferior) products.
Second edit: First, the term you are looking for is libel, not slander. Second, you sound like that kid in second grade that threatens to take everyone to court because "their dad is a lawyer."
Third edit: Imagine if TMC responded this fast to email inquiries about orders that haven't been shipped for months because one of their machines is "broken."
Fourth edit: Owner replies and tries to insult my intelligence, but doesn't know the difference between the correct use of affect and effect.
Avoid doing business with this company because there are numerous superior alternatives.

I have made dozens of orders from TMC. Some arrived pretty quick, some took awhile. Always received what I ordered, figs are great quality, accessories just as good. I've never had to contact them so can't say anything about customer service, but products are top shelf.

Laughable customer service
The pieces are misrepresented in website photos and appears the wrong colour, this company has been horrible in messages about this and won’t agree to either refund or accept a return of this product. Customer service provided was terrible and the provider laughed at me for this and said there was no need for them to waste their time on me

Very good Minifigures
I appreciate Minifg Co. very much, they have very simplistic, very realistic, and very detailed Minifigures, and the heads are very clean and detailed. All of his products look as if they could be official Lego, which is a quality I prefer in customs. I have made two orders so far with Minifig Co; 2 WWII British soldiers and a WWI German soldier, and both arrived in a decent amount of time and with all pieces present and intact. I even received bonus weapons with one order. There are a lot of negative reviews about the bad quality of his products, which in my experience just isn't true. I would recommend ordering from him for WW1 and WW2 custom minifigures.

Products are great just poor service

The Minifig co. failed to send one of the figures I ordered, and then never replied to a follow up email.
Edit - The Minifig Co. ended up sending the missing figure plus a number of dual molded weapons. I never did see a reply email, but they completed my order and then some. I'm very happy with the purchase and quality of the figures! They are quite detailed, printed on genuine Lego parts. They make for excellent named characters in a larger army of figures.

Commission Copier + IP Logger
TheMinifigCo has resorted to copying Angel Bricks commissions for their Old Dark Grey release. They have openly said this and have shown figures for it, AB has even gotten wind on this.
For Garrett: Stop copying AB, at least the commissions. This is clearly you showing your sales are lower than usual, and you’re not the ‘Top Dog’ in the custom printed minifigure market.

Great company

I see multiple negative reviews here, i have had nothing like this experience and feel TMC is clearly being unfairly targeted
Good product, unsavoury experience
In terms of product, TMC produces some quality stuff, I’ve brought from them a lot. Sometimes their prints can be misaligned or a lot of historical inaccuracies but it’s fine because it’s Lego. Point is, the printing is good (this earns the two stars).
The problem of this review is on the quality of service provided outside the actual product itself, they very limitedly respond to emails, and there is a toxic ‘ego’ present (seen in the “superior” labelling everywhere) which also hinders their products, in my opinion - as constructive criticism or Ig opinions/ reviews(?) - about their alignments or anything on what they produce - is faced with this ego. As well as a toxic competitive spirit with other companies that spoils the interaction with them.
Constructively, TMC most certainly can improve, they definitely have the potential, with a couple of reforms in their business style and approach.
- A welcoming spirit goes a long way alongside quality products :)

I never received items I bought. (I didn't make a big deal since it was only 2 tiles and wasn't that big of a loss). I am only making this review now because of their recent activities. They can't take criticism, their customer service is abysmal, and just a few days ago, they doxed a critic.
TMC is a trash company and you are better off far away from them.
Edit: I have been refunded my money for the tiles, so that's good, but the other points still stand.

Firstly, if you ever dear to provide constructive criticism about one of their products you will either be banned or block on their social, or in the worst case scenario, get doxxed...
Furthermore, people have made custom order with this company worth large sums of money and never received them, and this after 1 to 3 years waiting (the orders have already been payed...)
The overall experience is not worth the hassle in case of a problem, or a disagreement with the owner over innacuracies with the products. There are better companies which make excellent products out there, with better quality, greater diversity, and most importantly way better service.

This guy sells Anti-Semitic items with white supremacist SS Bolts on them.
This company’s customer service is a complete joke. You see preorders from theminifigco take a long time so when I found out an item was missing, I went in to get my refund. I’ve already waited more than 1 month for my order and I wasn’t contacted by email that the item was missing or refunded. So when I emailed about this issue of course I didn’t get any reply, so I had to contact Paypal. That’s when I got a very selfish and unprofessional email from this seller who thinks I shouldn’t talk to anyone else for my hard-earned money back right? Smh, this seller is so petty he wouldn’t even give me the full refund for the missing item that was literally written as “OOS” Out of Stock on the invoice. Just one example before this he combined shipping for 2 of my orders yet didn’t refund the shipping which I always get from every respectable company out there.
At the end of the day though I’m not surprised. Plastic toys literally revolve around this privileged guy’s life 24/7 plastering his brand name all over or suing a competitor company that’s WAAAYYY more successful *cough* Citizenbrick *cough* which explains why he doesn’t even have the decency to reply to emails about your order like a normal human being.
Overall, a terrible experience from this garbage company.
This guy has also childishly false flagged my review multiple times knowing full well it's real and spitefully posted my personal information in order to harass and attack me. Sayonara!
Good products, awful customer service
Update 1: it was only after this public review that TMC reached back out to me (which he did within minutes), only to insult me and call me "stalker-like" for emailing their customer support email (usually one short, politely worded email every 3-4 days, mind you), followed by empty threats of using my personal information to track down my employer and "take necessary action." The owner also called my review "fake" with "flagrant lies", and unsuccessfully attempted to have it removed. If you look at their Company Activity page on Trustpilot, TMC has flagged every single 1-star review they have received. Instead of attempting to do right by their customers, they would rather belittle them, insult them, and hide them from public view. It is amazing the company has managed to retain any customers with these practices and those chronicled by others. This is, by far, the worst customer service I have ever encountered, and I will never spend another dime with TMC. There are much better companies out there who treat customers like human beings. Avoid at all costs.
Update 2: *Immediately* after adding the above, I was emailed again and called a liar.
Original review: I have been a loyal customer to the Minifig Co. for over 2 years, having spent thousands of dollars with them. The products are consistent in quality, and I have enjoyed using them for my projects. However, for years, TMC has been plagued by reviews of poor customer service and unprofessional responses from the owner. Unfortunately, little has changed over the course of those years, and customer service is extremely negative where it exists at all. The owner has a reputation for belittling customers, being rude and emotional in his responses, and treating customers like afterthoughts. There are dozens of complaints both here and on Better Business Bureau of unfulfilled orders, ignored customer service queries, and responses from TMC that are incredibly mean-spirited and unprofessional (which, again, is when they even bother to respond in the first place).
In my personal experience, I was publicly belittled in the Discord server by the company's Discord account for lightheartedly commenting on new pricing schemes (which I even later redacted due to previously overlooked details) and then was subsequently banned after complaining about the owner's unprofessional response. In response, I have made numerous attempts to contact TMC through several mediums to find out more about the ban and to see what could be done to rectify the situation, all of which have been ignored. This is a childish way to do business and it is, unfortunately, a reputation TMC has earned over many years of ignoring and belittling their customer base. If you don't believe me, read TMC's Better Business Bureau profile, where they have received a grade of 'F' for unfair business practices and poor customer relations, as well as making little-to-no apparent attempts to rectify many situations. The reviews of their products are never negative, but the customer "support" from the owner alienates people and turns them off of the company. It is truly unfortunate that such good products are soured by unprofessional and unfair dealings.
For me to come back to this company, I would need to see positive change in customer interactions. However, given this has been a trend for many years, I do not see that happening, at least not anytime soon. Despite the above complaints, I choose not to cast the owner in a completely negative light. He is the creator of a business that has produced quality products for a decade, which is commendable. He has truly built something for himself and the community. It is clear that he is a capable person, but whose natural skillset just may not be tailored to customer relations, and that's okay. I would recommend that he hire a full-time customer service representative who may be a little more diplomatically inclined. In doing so, he would be able to delegate what I imagine is a stressful and time-consuming responsibility, especially as the company grows, which would allow him more time and focus for the rest of the company. In addition, it would help TMC by fostering a sense of community and welcomeness that would ensure repeat customers for years to come. I do not pretend to know the inner workings of the company, but as a former small business owner and current member of a community engagement team, I think this would only set TMC up for success.
If customer service were to improve, I would be willing to put all past negative experiences behind and continue my patronage because these truly are good products. Until then, however, I have no choice but to take my business elsewhere and would advise others to do the same for their own sake.
Terrible customer service and don't…
Terrible customer service and don't fulfill orders properly. I waited a year for a pre-order that kept getting delayed. When I received my order it was missing the rest of the products I paid for. I've emailed multiple times and they don't respond. I wouldn't recommend doing business with the minifig co.
