Mini Houseplants is a small Swiss online shop for baby houseplants in 6 cm pots, run by Nick and Cambow from Zürich. We sell young plants, from easy starters like Peperomia and Pilea to rare finds like Alocasia, Anthurium and variegated Philodendron, starting at CHF 5.40. Every plant is checked for pests and roots and kept apart for a week before it is sold, then packed in a recyclable moulded blister so it travels upright. In cold weather each box gets a heat pack. We post Monday to Wednesday with Swiss Post, delivery takes 2 working days, and shipping is free from CHF 74. Not sure where to start? Our themed sets bundle five plants that go together, for beginners, dark corners, pet owners or collectors, at 10% less than buying them one by one. Every plant page shows its care level, light, watering and pet safety, and our guides explain which plants are safe for cats and dogs. If a plant arrives damaged, send us photos within two days and we refund or replace it. The shop speaks English, German, French and Italian, and a real person answers every email.

No need to be skeptical

I was initially skeptical of the authenticity of this company because they are brand new and had no reviews anywhere, however I decided to take the risk anyway because of the lovely selection of plants. I was not dissatisfied! Everything arrived quickly, the plants were well packed and in good condition. Highly recommend this company, although I didn’t need any customer service so I can’t speak to that.
