I am one of the "lucky ones" who got the minimal phone, after waiting quite a long time for it und spending 400 €.
The phone is a total mess. You can't use it, display is ultra bad, it's working super slowly, the quality is bad, in any aspect.
DON'T BUY IT, it's not worth even 10 bugs.
AND, the minimal company now refuses to take ist back. The just don't answer and are not taking the return package from UPS. All in all I just spent 450€ for nothing.
Disastrous support
I bought a phone. For days they never answered to any mail or contact form. (though their AI answerer says the opposite)
you can read in their policy statement, that you can cancell your order, till it's not yet shipped, but in fact the website shows no ways to do it.
So they took the money and soon disappeared. I wasn't sure that they would ever send me my phone, so I preallerted my bank to refund me as I've been probably frauded.
After some days and a trustpilot rating, they finally refund me, apologizing, and adding that I wrote many mails so the system put me in last position of the queue... Mmm
Anyway this is not a good service.
Avoid!
Ordered my phone back in August, knowing it will take long. Then it got delivered, but I wasn't notified to pick it up, since then no real support from the so called "customer service" I get stalled and refund requests are ignored.

Asked refund, they told it was shipped. But no tracking number provided.
AVOID THEM LIKE A PLAGUE
They are impossible to reach. Placed a preorder, since traveling and will not get delivered to me in time. The had a delivered estimate of end of May. Now impossible to get a hold of them. This is pre -sale. Can't imagine how they will be post sale. Sounds like a 3 person company, with manufacturing in China and they are unable to support customers.
Minimal delivery
Ah, the Minimal Phone! the perfect name since Ive received minimal communication, minimal support, and absolutely no phone. i backed this project over a year ago, and 30 days ago i dared to feel something resembling hope when i got my very first shipping confirmation. Silly me still no phone.
Support is non existent. The founders ghosted harder than a bad tinder date. I submitted a refund request and i assume that will be handled with the same efficiency as everything else which is to say never.
Instead of focusing on delivering the actual product people paid for, the team decided it was a great idea to launch a minimal ntwork plan. Because nothing screams success like expanding into telecom before you can even ship a phone case. And speaking of cases those are also MIA, even for the lucky few who actually got a phone.
The cherry on top? The developers have somehow managed to imply its the customers fault for being frustrated. We should be grateful to receive anything at all! Truly inspiring leadership!
Apparently shipping to the US was the top priority. the rest of the world can wait. They went full Trump on the fulfillment plan.
In conclusion: the only things not minimal here are their ego and their ability to make empty promises.

Had high hopes for a new phone. Like to support small developers. Shipping promises for months. Customer service response erratic. Eventually got my credit card provider to muscle in and refund.
