Why is there no ZERO stars?? IMPOSSIBLE to cancel this contract.. IMPOSSIBLE to speak to ANYONE UNLESS you call their sales & marketing department THEN and only then you get to speak to a actual person that answers the phone.. and then obviously they cannot help you so they want to transfer you to the cancelations / accounts department and guess what.. NO ONE ANSWERS!! They either give two sh!ts about client service after they "caught" you in their trap OR there is so many complaints and cancelations of this product that they dont have the manpower to handle all the complaints and cancelations.
I see complaints of this natures goes back +4years! should have done my homework on this site

MiX South Africa False pretenses and hidden penalties NOT in agreement
I was sold new Matrix tracking via MiX telematix in March with information willfully omitted with false pretenses by the agent. I was NOT told there is an early cancellation penalty (Who even does this anymore?) and NONE of the documentation sent included anything about it. I would NEVER have switched if I had known this, as I knew I may have to sell my car shortly thereafter due financial problems. Which I had to last week, and now they want to charge me R3600 to cancel the contract? OR R1500 to transfer to another car? I got a call today from their tech people to remove the tracker to refit into the other car and I don't even HAVE it anymore. Even the dealership said this practice is totally predatory.

Mix Telematics are the absolute WORST tracking company ever!!
I sent cancellation emails back in September 2023, with no response.
They kept invoicing me monthly and I kept sending cancellation emails. Without Response.
Eventually, I get an email back, cancelling my account at the end of December, but then they insist I owe them for the months that I cancelled.

They handed over this ridiculous account and now it has affected my credit rating & possibly blocking me from getting a further loan because of it!!

On top of this, I have also asked in every, single one of the 30 plus emails, to come remove their tracking devices! Still nothing...

worst company I have ever dealt with . First they put someone else vehicle on my account they other person was out of state which had us believing our vehicle was stolen . we had to file a police report and because of an alert police officer in West Virginia he was able to track down the vehicle I was monitoring . Turns out they put my truck on the guy in West virginias account .The guy in West VIrginia was monitoring my vehicle here in dc .Ive tried for over 2 months to reach my account manager to fix this . They also completed my IFTA reports wrong resulting in me having to pay taxes in 2 additional states . Lynee is the worst at responding. Everyone sounds like they are in a overseas call center . Im going to cancel my service

It should be a great system if the people behind this would do the correct job to sort out many defects of the system itself. The system is not working as it should occurring unexplained events.
Shocking... Not to TRUST.

Worst company i have ever dealt with been trying to cancel for over a year. I have tried to phone them, but it's impossible to get through. Sent numerous emails but no response. Stay Away!

I read all the negative comments on mix telematics, but my insurance company said I should not worry as they will deal directly with this company. Well oh my word, they are honestly not client service orientated. Call me at 4pm on the Thursday to arrange a fitting for the next day....I said we are not available and require a few days notice not hours, they then said they can only help in a month's time. Next get an SMS confirming a date and time without checking in with me at all. After more complains, we finally agree on date and time. I also asked them to pls call my husband on the day as I am away. Well that did not work either....they did not inform the person on the road to call my husband so I get all the calls but I am not home......can they just focus.

Mix Telematics program (at least the one that our company put in our fleet) works off of our phones, gives NO feedback or warnings about pending violations. It's like slapping a blind man in the back of the head everytime he bumps into something. If you want a system that promotes anxiety and fear in your employees, and may increase turnover well your search is complete. Also I found that a common complaint is that drivers were forced to spend more time looking at their phones instead of driving out of fear of receiving violations that are not disclosed until a review is initiated. Bad program for safety , but cheap to run.

This is the worst tracking company in Africa. They never respond to emails, phone lines or queries on social media. Its virtually impossible to cancel a contract after we sold a company vehicle. Do not use this company who do not care for their customers.

I had a write off on the 07th of January and subsequently requested my Beame to be canceled.

A settlement figure was give and I missed the deadline for the payment.

I then requested another settlement figure from both Cancellations and Info over the past two weeks with no response.

I phoned on the 09th Feb 22 and was promised that I will get an updated settlement figure within the hour, however nothing has came through a day later.
