Disappointing aftercare
We had our kitchen designed and fitted by this company in December 2022. At the time, we were happy with the design and overall finish.
Unfortunately, the aftercare has been extremely disappointing. When a minor issue arose with the worktop edging, we contacted them for assistance and found the whole process frustrating and unhelpful.
We were asked to resend information multiple times, received very little guidance, and the interaction over the phone was not particularly helpful. Despite offering to pay a callout fee just to have the issue resolved properly, we were quoted €500 for what is, by any standard, a small repair.
After spending €11,000 on a kitchen, it’s very disappointing to feel that once payment is made, customer support effectively ends.
If you’re considering using this company, just be aware that while the initial installation may be fine, you may struggle to get any support afterwards.

We’re pleased to hear that you were happy with your kitchen design and overall finish following installation in 2022 — that is always our primary objective, and it’s important to acknowledge that your project was successfully delivered to that standard.
In relation to the issue raised, this concerned a section of laminate edging which had broken off, and which was then removed in its entirety.
We did engage with your enquiry and requested additional information to locate your project details and assess the issue correctly. We regret if this process felt repetitive or frustrating, however it was necessary to ensure we could provide an informed and accurate response. In doing so, we offered to arrange for one of our qualified fitters to carry out the repair, should you wish to proceed, and this option remains available.
With regard to the cost indicated, this reflects the requirement to allocate a qualified fitter, along with associated time and travel. While we understand your view that this appears to be a small repair, the logistics involved in carrying out works of this nature are not always proportionate to the size of the issue itself.
We are sorry that this experience has left you feeling disappointed, as it was certainly not our intention. We remain committed to delivering a high standard of service and will take your feedback on board.

I first visited MLK in Roscommon. We received a very warm welcome from the receptionist. On overhearing my mum mentioning how disappointed she was that the local coffee shop was closed. She immediately offered us a coffee and biscuits. This attention to detail and care never waivered throughout our journey with MLK.
Our first interaction with this Irish company and its designers and craftspeople which are graduates trained in the renowned Letterfrack College consolidated my decision to choose them to create our dream kitchen.
As I live in Galway we continued our design meeting in their new showroom.
There is such a wide range of kitchens to chose from. They also designed around your budget.
I really wanted an inframed kitchen and I was shown different designed options.
Breadan our designer was incredibly professional and equally patience with me!
He went above and beyond to see my vision. So enormous thank you to him.
What started off with just wanting a kitchen, we ended up putting in a built in bar and shelving units and a fitted utility room.
MLK and the wonderful Sinèad regularly kept us informed and scheduled us a date for fitting.
The talented kitchen fitter arrived and over a period of three days. He skillfully crafted our new kitchen .
It is an absolute pleasure to review this company. I also have recommended my friends and family. More recently they have completed work for my sister in Co. Meath.

I absolutely love my Mark Lohan Kitchen! From the moment we walked into the showroom we felt so welcome, the team genuinely love what they do.
We worked with John, our designer, who made the whole process feel easy even in the middle of our self build chaos. He really listened, brought creative ideas, and designed a kitchen that perfectly suits our Georgian inspired home, elegant, practical, and full of clever storage including our must have signature corner pantry.
