Job done in timely manner
We agreed on a date and price beforehand, which has been respected. I have expressed the wish of having my old washing machine picked up in the morning preferably, and a new one brought up ( 2 sets of wooden stairs!) and the team arranged everything to fulfill my request, despite the fact that it was a last minute job. Two friendly men turned at home and did the job as promised.

Doubled the price on date of collection
This company doubled the price of the quote the morning of collection. I sent pictures of the rubbish as requested, which included IT recycling (monitors). I then had a reply to state the price including disposal of the monitors as they provided WEEE certification. They then stated the "software" did not pick up the monitors even though the mentioned them specifically. They had over 5 days to review the images but left it till the day of collection. They did not try to negoitate price it was basically take it or leave it. The person who called me then said "it was not the end of the world" I found them very unprofessional, unreliable and deceitful.

All of our quotes are based on the information and images provided at the time. In this case, the images reviewed prior to booking did not clearly indicate the quantity and type of IT equipment present, which directly affects disposal requirements, compliance handling, and costs. IT and electrical items must be processed under WEEE regulations, and pricing can change if additional or different waste types are identified on closer review.
Our system flags waste types based on visual confirmation and declared items. Unfortunately, on the day of collection it became clear that the load included additional WEEE items, which required revised pricing to remain compliant and cover certified disposal. This was communicated before collection, giving the option to proceed or cancel — no work had started at that stage.
We understand that last-minute changes are frustrating, and we always aim to resolve matters fairly and professionally. However, we cannot proceed with collections at a loss or outside regulatory requirements. Pricing adjustments are never intended to mislead, but to ensure lawful and responsible waste handling.
We take professionalism seriously and regret if any part of the communication came across poorly. Your feedback has been noted and will be used to improve how we explain pricing changes in the future.
