After months of research many e-mails…

After months of research many e-mails and phone calls I was finally able to locate a mini excavator that will do the light work I need to do at a somewhat reasonable price. I looked at auctions, e-bay and even Temu and only Amazon had a suitable machine at price I could afford that included free shipping. I placed the order through Amazon because of their A-Z policy and the fact that in the past 27 years as a customer of Amazon I have had very good results with their customer service department. MMS own website states shipping is within 5-15 days for excavators. Well here we are 15 days later and the machine has not even been picked up from their NJ warehouse! What they did do was to ship a worthless hat via FedEx using the tracking number to trick Amazon to marking the excavator as shipped. They do this for two reasons, one is they don't have the excavator in stock and rather than be honest they fraudulently issue this fake delivery. In committing this tracking fraud Amazon is tricked into releasing payment to MMS before the item is in stock or has shipped. The second reason is possible out and out fraud where they have no intension of shipping the machine. Amazon has been made aware of the situation and have viewed messages on their app sent from MMS that admit the FedEx tracking is for a hat and not an excavator. I know using Amazon that my money is safe but the further implications are that by the time I return all the accessories that I already have and find a more reliable company the window to do the work I needed to do here in Maine will have closed for the 5-6 month winter period. I will update this as things progress, just be aware when ordering from MMS!!
