90€ worth off reason to avoid this
So my step stopped charging all of sudden and I didn't know why but I realised it may have something to do with the charging port or the battery. The charger was ok since I could test it on another step.
Fact #1: Clearly asked the step is old and I don't want to invest a lot of money on it so can u have a look and before doing anything big please contact me with a quote about how much it could cost.
Fact #2: I get a message that the step is ready, the battery was below zero so they charged it another way (explained later). 3minutes later I get another message saying "and the motor controller had to be changed too, not a big cost (>€60).
I check the step, it rides, the charge seems ok so I assume it is ok. I take the step and go home.
Fact #3: after riding it for a few short times. It stops again. I put it to charge and and still doesn't charge. So I send them an email that I will bring it back. I had doubts what the motor controller has anything to do with charging but since i thought it was fixed I thought well, maybe it's worth it.
Fact #4: I bring it back, I say look, when I brought it in, it wasn't charging, when I took it back, it wasn't charging still. I paid 90€ and the behaviour/problem if the step remains the same (all very politely). All of a sudden, what a thief would do, takes my step outside and kicks me out of the shop while screaming and closes the shop/garage door at me while the other two "colleagues" are watching the show. I have never been insulted like this in Belgium before. I am looking into this further with the police and the lawyer because getting ripped off is one thing, getting insulted/screamed at and kicked out because u asked for explanation is another.
