PLEASE READ before booking

PLEASE READ before booking. So we just returned from Antalya staying at Topkapi Palace for 1 week. We had 2 elderly people in our party, one with MS who was not mobile at all and another who can not stand up due to bone deterioration. For these reasons and peace of mind I booked through this company about 10 days before arrival. When we were are Bristol airport about to leave the night before they whatsapped me saying they would deliver the scooter at 7pm on day one, now 9am that I had booked. They said 3 scooters had been stolen so couldn’t deliver us a scooter until 7pm. I obviously complained as at this late stage what was I supposed to to with 2 passengers who cannot walk on their first day of holiday! Their solution was an electric wheelchair and a truly massive mobility scooter and then swap them over to what we ordered later in the evening of the first day. They still wanted £180 each as was the original price. The electric wheelchair was ok in the sense it could access all of the hotel in the same way the mobility scooters we ordered could (albeit the person using it didn’t like it!) the large mobility scooter however was a nightmare! It would not fit in the lift so caused us no end of issues on our first day. We had to travel in parts using only one electric wheelchair. When I said I’d like to complain as our first day was spoiled they simply said you accepted our solution. When I said we had no choice and your solution was not adequate they said you shouldn’t have accepted it! I said I’d like some compensation they said if you are not happy we’ll take everything back. This was at 9pm of our first day - they would walk away and leave us stranded with no means of our 2 guests moving around the hotel. I thought this was really service especially charging us full
Price for a nightmare first day. Be careful and shop around would be my advice.
