Mobilum appears on my bank statements…

Mobilum appears on my bank statements in connection with transactions that were not clearly identified at the time of payment.
The issue is transparency and accountability.
Payments were processed under descriptors that did not reflect the underlying merchant, and when raised, Mobilum positioned itself only as a processor without providing meaningful clarification.
Despite requests, I have not been provided with:
Clear identification of the merchant(s) behind the transactions
The acquiring entities involved
A proper explanation of how these payments were authorised and processed
It is particularly concerning that transactions involving 3D Secure authentication can still result in consumers being unable to identify who they have actually paid.
Where a payment provider’s name appears on a statement, there should be a clear and accountable link to the underlying merchant.
At present, the response has been limited and does not address the substance of the concerns

Avoid Mobilum – Unauthorised Transactions & Regulatory Breaches

Between August and September 2025, multiple unauthorised transactions were processed through Mobilum / MBMRAMP on my bank accounts (NatWest & Revolut). These payments were routed without transparency, often disguised under incorrect Merchant Category Codes (MCCs).

Despite raising this directly with Mobilum, they refused to refund me and attempted to disclaim responsibility by saying they “do not contract with natural persons.” This response ignores the fact that Mobilum is a regulated acquiring/payment provider bound by card scheme rules, AML obligations, and its own Terms & Conditions, which explicitly prohibit use for illegal gambling operators.

By processing and settling these transactions, Mobilum has:

Breached Visa/Mastercard rules (MCC misuse),

Facilitated payments for unlicensed gambling operators,

Failed to uphold consumer protection and AML duties.

I have now escalated the matter to Visa, Mastercard, my banks, and regulators in Poland, Lithuania, the UK, the US, Canada, and Australia.

⚠️ Warning to others: If you see Mobilum / MBMRAMP on your bank statement, contact your bank immediately and raise a chargeback. Do not expect cooperation from Mobilum directly.

I’ve been using Mobilum Pay for a while…

I’ve been using Mobilum Pay for a while now and I’m really impressed. The app is simple, clean, and easy to use — perfect for managing my card and crypto top-ups. Transactions are fast and smooth, and I love that I can access everything in one place. The support team is also responsive and helpful whenever I have a question. Definitely a great app for anyone who wants a seamless way to spend their crypto in everyday life!

REFUSE TO REFUND MY MONEY

I had a terrible experience with Mobilum. I deposited $15 USDT and got confirmation they received it—but they never credited it to my card. They said my verification had expired and asked for passport photos, which I sent. Then they demanded a full re-verification, but because of Togo’s poor address system, I couldn’t reproduce the exact same format I used when signing up. I explained this to them many times and asked for a refund, but they just kept pushing me to "try again." Eventually, they just closed my support ticket without solving anything. No refund, no help, nothing. Avoid this platform if you value your money and sanity.

You can deposit but you cannot withdraw. It declines every payment attempt.

Depositing money with Mobilum pay is as easy as ABC but withdrawing is impossible with no direct person to talk to. The email address they gave has a kind of automated answering device that suspends you perpetually. Presently I am struggling to withdraw my money to no avail. You can deposit with crypto wallet but no provision for withdrawal with same wallet. possible scam. Stay away.

Terrible service, likely scam.

Placed an order in a currency which was favourable to me, Mobilum swapped it after having it approved in the original currency!

Then it never sent it to the wallet I have specified, email contains no information and there is ledger of transactions on their site, so they can lie about having had sent to my wallet.

No live chat, dead phone number. Probably going through "restructuring" and their trying to get as much money as possible before they are closed down for good. Or I will be stuck in months long war of attrition via email and constantly threatening them with EU consumer rights to get my money back (after wasting 10x as much dealing with non-existant service).

Would not recommend, wish I have looked them up here first.
