I was hired for a Freelance translation job and they paid me through Mobpay. I was then asked to make a payment to receive a VAT code (worth 140 dollars). I made the payment, and only then did they tell me I needed to make yet another payment worth 240 dollars for a BOT code.

All of this just to be able to withdraw my money from the website. They told me they couldn't deduct from my Mobpay balance because my account was "inactive", as I had yet to make any transactions. I feel absolutely stupid and scammed.

Don't trust this website or the people working with it.

Mobpay is so stressful. I got my money after they put me through a lot of stress but it’s all good regardless since I successfully made my withdrawal.

Like mentioned above, they let you do a fake job and then ask for "vat code" and the "bot cod" which costs money or passwords credit cards and money transfer site for your money

Absolute scam, they work with fake companies that ask u to do specific work - pay for it through mobpay and then scams u with the "VAT Code" that costs alot of money

I love this bank it’s safe and faster for international transactions

As the previous reviewer - they ask for a $100 payment for a 'vat code' before you can get any money.

SCAM. They ask for VAT code to transfer your money to your local bank which they charge $100.
