Mococo founders, Maureen and Lee Hooson have created a jewellery emporium that has averaged a new shop every year since its beginnings in 2006. A lovely range of jewellery available online, dispatch was a little slower than I'd like (because I'm impatient and couldn't wait to get my fabulous ring!) but was within the 5-7 days displayed on the website so nothing to complain about, and it arrived the day after - beautifully packaged and with a little chocolate treat! Very pleased with my purchase and wouldn't hesitate to shop here again or recommend it to others.

Worth a visit!

This attractive store in Manchester drew me in and so glad it did. Beautiful jewellery with lots of choice and many unique pieces. The staff were welcoming, helpful and very understanding of my needs. Will definitely go back.

Ghosted after not receiving order

Honestly, this started out great and was really pleased with the customer service of this company.

I had ordered a Nomination charm, and I received an email from them advising that the charm is actually a different colour than the website says, and would I be ok with this. I thought this was really good of then to check and I was happy to still receive the charm.

It advises delivery would be between 2-5 days, it had been two weeks and I’d still not received the charm. I contacted the store via email and was replied to straight away advising if I wanted a refund or a new charm sending out after they had spoke with The Post Office to make a claim, I advised I would still like the charm as it is lovely and a Christmas present.

The last correspondence I had from them was that I would hear back from them the next day with an update and I haven’t heard anything since, I have emailed a couple of times chasing and still nothing?!?! This was 7 days ago.

Luckily, I had paid via Klarna so I am not out of pocket as I have raised an issue with Klarna, whom have stopped the payment.

But I would never deal with this company again.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

My mother bought me a beautiful pair of clogau earrings for my 30th birthday. When the earrings arrived, one of the stems of the earrings were bent and snapped off. When we returned them, they took weeks to “investigate”. They stated the earrings didn’t leave like that and they have CCTV to prove it. Okay, but what happens on the journey from you to me is still your responsibility as the seller. They then stated the earrings aren’t the originals (?!) and that are an older model of the pair (why would she buy me earrings I already have???) utter nonsense. They are now refusing to refund my mother and instead want her to pay postage for the same broken earrings to be returned! It seems they have no knowledge of the consumer act and rights she has under it. Including Section 75 where all credit card purchases are protected as well as her having the right to reject faulty items within 30 days of purchase! I will now be helping my mother claim back her money through her bank account. They try to push over that 30 day rule by avoiding you even though we had proof of delivery of us returning the faulty item and it being signed for. You’re honestly better off sticking to the brands when purchasing. Do not be fooled by this brand! Disgusting behaviour on how to treat a pensioner!

I received a faulty Pandora charm from…

I purchased a Pandora silver charm from Mococo and received it on 17 October. The item arrived chipped and clearly faulty. I emailed customer service immediately on 17 Oct, and they completely ignored me. They only responded after I left a negative review online on 24 Oct.

Their response was to blame policy and demand I return the item so they can send it to Pandora for “inspection", even though I already sent them detailed photos showing how the charm was chipped and faulty. I am leaving the UK on 27 October and explained that I do not have time for this unnecessary process. Instead of offering a simple discount compensation or refund, they insisted on making the customer deal with the inconvenience caused by their defective product. They even suggested I involve friends or family to help while I am abroad.

Mococo has shown zero accountability, poor customer service, and no respect for UK consumer rights. They delay, push responsibility away, and only care once their reputation is threatened, and only care about their company's profit. I strongly advise buying directly from Pandora, where faulty items are handled quickly and professionally, not with excuses and disregard like this. The worst shopping experience I have had during my entire time in the UK.

Disappointed and out of pocket

In July, I purchased a beautiful Clogau gold cross from Mococo online. At almost £800, it was a real treat to myself and the most I’ve ever spent on myself.

I was disappointed when the first item arrived scratched on both sides, looking like it had already been worn. Despite this, staff were helpful over live chat and responded promptly, so I accepted a replacement because I loved the necklace so much.

However, the chain on the replacement broke after less than two months of wearing it. I got up from my sofa and heard it fall on the floor. Luckily this happened within my house otherwise it could have been lost completely.

Mococo were initially very apologetic and said they would provide me with a full refund once it had been returned. They provided pre-paid postage (though not recorded delivery), but the item took over a week to deliver, bounced back twice, and I was left with the responsibility of chasing both Royal Mail and Mococo for updates.

After finally receiving it, Mococo are now refusing to refund me, claiming this as “accidental damage” and accusing me of applying “significant force” that caused it to break.

This experience has been extremely upsetting. I loved the necklace, but after returning it twice and dealing with the stress of chasing the delivery and the company, it no longer feels special. I’d also be too afraid to wear it now- the necklace is clearly poor quality and not suitable for usual, daily wear- due to its monetary value I’d be too afraid of it breaking again and being lost. I have told Mococo I don’t want it back.

Throughout this process, I have communicated politely and promptly, provided photos and updates, and followed all of Mococo’s instructions. Despite assurances that a refund would be processed, I have received no timely resolution and have now been accused of something I didn’t do. Iv been left out of pocket and am now facing the prospect of taking the matter to Small Claims Court.

As a customer I feel let down and incriminated. I would never recommend this company.

Trust the Process

Visited the Mold/Yr Wyddgrug store, met by Alexandra M upon arrival. We browsed the store together as I described what I was looking for. I tried on a piece I picked and one that Alex suggested for me. I purchased Alex's suggestion. Friendly, relaxed and helpful customer service received. A real pleasure. Thank you :)

Quick delivery, lovely service

Quick delivery; ordered it on Friday and received it on Monday (today).
Plenty of gift bags in case it was for someone else, which is thoughtful, and a matching chocolate, which is such a sweet touch!

Very happy with the item and service, and would definitely order again!

Excellent customer service from start to finish – so friendly and helpful. The jewellery is stunning and delivery was fast. I was especially impressed with the gift wrapping – scented tissue paper, a lovely gift bag, and even a little chocolate, all included for free. Such thoughtful details made it feel really special. Highly recommend!

Waste of time

I was burgled and was over the moon that the only place I could re-buy some earrings that were stolen was on this site. After ordering, 3/4 days later my purchase was refunded saying that the original retailer had discontinued them. Obviously I already knew this as it was my first place looking, it was strange they've not kept up on what is actually in stock or not in what they're meant to supply... After checking again weeks later the earrings are still on their website available to buy. Seems a very chaotic way to run a business and mess people around

Great experience!

Mococo's website is user friendly and the products are all good quality. The ordering process worked well, the jewellery arrived on time and was packed beautifully (loved the colour!) with a personalised gift card and a little chocolate inside too! This was my first experience of Mococo so I also benefited from the 15% discount for new customers but I'd definitely use them again. Well done!

Paid for Saturday guarenteed…

Paid for Saturday guarenteed delivery....I have not received it....the company automated message say to contact royal mail...but royal mail say to contact sender to sort it...extremely frustrating and inconvenient NOT HAPPY...just want a refund at this point......

Update....customer service were very quick to reply and refunded for postage costs....i then received my item next day...the late delivery was the fault of royal mail..not mococo and i am pleased with how fast they sorted this out.
