A great solid product, very well built (just what I was looking for).

The inscription I ordered looked great but was printed upside down for me (as I am right handed) for some reason.

A few mild machining scratches and the pencil isn't as clicky as I expected (no click at all really) but over all fantastic.

Nice pencil, but came with some marks.

It feels like it will last forever. I show my friends and they like it. 5/5 IGN. I recommend it to other people. My plastic mechanical pencils would break all the time.

Seriously love my solid brass pencil! Awesome for college!

I really like this company, the only reason why it has earned four stars is because I was charged $10 for a pack of 20 erasers that I never received.

A very, very well made mechanical pencil. Well balanced and solid, not like the cheap plastic units out there.
HOWEVER, I do NOT agree with your Company statement that it will "last me a lifetime". No WAY !! That is a false statement !!
You can bet your bottom dollar that SOMEONE is going to steal the darn thing if I, or anyone ELSE that purchases one, sets it down for any length of time !!!
Great pencil - keep up the good work - bring the "crafts" BACK to the USA !!!! (I'll probably be ordering another in the not too distant future when mine gets stolen )

One of the best pencils I've ever used. As an engineer, i write with my hands a-lot, this pencil is pleasing. I have it with me everyday, it's the only one I need.

Great Pencil. High Quality. Pencil is well made and you can hardly tell that it is two pieces it is machined so well. I was concerned at first that the finish would to too smooth to hold firmly and write but it really is a joy to write with. I am currently a college student and have been using the pencil in all my classes the last few weeks. The eraser is one of the best i have ever used it will erase everything cleanly. It's great that you can use just regular pentel lead with the pencil and it functions properly. I would recommend this pencil to anyone that wants to have a high quality writing instrument that will last for years and is relatively low maintenance and is easy to service and use. Its a great pencil I just ordered one to give to a friend as a graduation gift. It is definitely something that is worth the money and maybe even its weight in gold.

Products came out great with detailed instructions and things to go along with - customer service was great and responded within a few days when I emailed asking for a tracking number.
Shipping was extremely fast and came as first-class priority mail in a couple of days.
Definitely going to buy the other (aluminum) pencil soon because the brass one was a bit on the heavy side

At first, upon clicking the pay button it felt like instant regret. However, once the pencil came in I was so ecstatic about it! It has a unique feeling to it although looks very simple. I highly recommend buying this pencil, if you do have second thoughts about it, such as "why get this expensive pencil? It's just a waste of money, I'll just lose it" however, investing a good chuck of money on something will make you more likely to keep track on where it's at almost all the time (through personal experience).

We purchased this item as a gift for our grandson who is studing to become an engineer. It is packaged very nicely and has a life warranty.

Took some time for the pencil to arrive, but definitely worth it. Love this pen!!!

I've always liked the concept of high end writing instruments. However, I have my reservations regarding the range of sparkly, embellished objects most commonly available in that category. For this reason I really value the work ethic and approach of Modernfueldesign with regards to this. Much like the classic Zippo, I see my acquired pencil as a functional, elegant and timeless piece that is sure to accompany me (and be put to good use) wherever I go.

The brass pencil is FAR too heavy - the lead breaks as I write and it sometimes drops out of my hand when I'm not concentrating. If I used it even more than I do I could destroy an entire piece of lead in less than 2 days. After a while the pencil acquires a horrible metal stench (but that's understandable). Maybe the other pencil is lighter and less infuriating. As beautiful as this pencil is, I'm starting to dislike it more and more every day.

It's not everyday you can support a craft or artisan that produces interesting products like a brass mechanical pencil. I'd recommend this to anyone who wants to buy a nice gift to anyone who likes unique handmade items such as this. Well worth the price for its quality.

I love the engraved pencil I bought from you, but I would like to see .7 lead thickness pencils please.
