Very disappointed

Very disappointed. Bad quality. It came with a hole inside one of the storage units. We ordered a textile which was supposed to be easy to clean and maintain- it turned out impossible to maintain! Don't recommend it!

Fantastic and professional service by Aleksandra.
We purchased our sofa October last year, there has been some inconvenience due the period we have used the sofa, as a result we end it up choosing another model.
Trough the process, we had guidance, understanding and outstanding service by Aleksandra from customer service, who made sure we are perfectly satisfied both with the product and the experience.
I recommend this company as they do care about their name, product, service and the satisfaction of their clients.

Bad service

After 10 days waiting for my order, I have contacted the customer service to check how long are they with processing my order.
I found out, they cannot deliver my order for the product I have ordered is no longer available.
They have not informed me. If I have not called to checkout, I could have waited, thinking I will get my order. Bad service.
Thank you for compensation for the bad service. Thank you for contacting me back . Therefore, I change my rating. I hope, there will be room for improvement for better customer service and delivery.

Order damaged but they helped resolve the issue.

I had some problems with the deivery of two beds as one of the beds had a damaged part.

I requested to get this replaced and was told that it would take two weeks (it ended up taking three). Once I received the part, it was the wrong one again as they had sent the incorrect size, meaning that I would have to wait another 2-3 weeks for the correct one.

I resorted to doing a small DIY task of my own by replacing the damaged part with the inorrectly sized replacement and it worked out well. I also managed to save a couple of weeks by not waiting for the correct part and with the assistance of Aleksandra, she also waived several charges on my order and compensated me for the inconvenience. So I'm very happy with the customer service despite the situation.

I have got 2 purchases with Moderno

I have got 2 purchases with Moderno in 2019/2020 and I am editing my review after having used those items more more than 2 year.
The first one, a sofa, went without issues, around 3 weeks delivery time. It is keeping up quite well and a couple of times that got stains or spills on it I managed to quickly and successfully clean them (notice that I order the textile that they advertise is easy to clean).
The second one, a wall-bed, had a bit of difficulties during delivery and a couple of errors in the packaging an assembly. But the support responded to the issues after the complaints (in Trustpilot however). I purchased both wall bed frame and mattress. Both are keeping quite good so far and I am pretty happy of the wall bed frame especially. The main recommendation I will give anyone that buys it is that they get the assembly order it with it, the time and difficulty of assembly makes it worth it that they do it themselves. And I am saying it from an point of view of someone that I enjoy the DYO.

Pretty and uncomfortable. 😞😞😞

After a long but of course, expected waiting, we finally got our couch. We were looking very much forward to receive it but can't help but being rather disappointed in how uncomfortable it feels to sit on it. It does looks pretty but it surprised us how HARD the sofa is.

Your reply below represents your way of communicating throughout this case in a nutshell. I have not indicated that my initial review was final. You have made that assumption without discussing the matter with me.

If you were concerned about my review, it would have been much easier to reach out to me directly and ask whether I would mind updating it based on Saturday's delivery.

I recognise that unfortunate events can happen, but late delivery wasn't the main reason for my frustration. The entire issue was unclear communication. The perfect example of that is Saturday's delivery itself.

In my last (granted, quite frustrated) email to you, I have asked you to forget any sort of compensation, send us the manual, and let us build the bed ourselves - since our kids would be in bed at 19 when your driver was expected to arrive.

I haven't received any reply to that email or any confirmation of you offering to build the bed as a form of compensation. (Something that I have been asking for from the very beginning and that you've indicated wasn't an option.)

Instead, two men showed up at our doorstep at 18:30 ready to build it. While that was definitely a positive surprise, had we known about this in advance, we'd have emptied the room prior to their arrival, brought in the bed pieces there, and so on. As it was, we scrambled to do that while the two men waited to get started.

Had you simply replied to my very first request with a "Yes, we'd be happy to build the bed for you as compensation" - all of this back and forth could have been avoided entirely.

For what it's worth, we're happy with the bed thus far - now that its built.

PREVIOUS REVIEW 26-04-2018:
Very poor customer service.

We have received a loft bed for our son on 19th of April. The delivery was already mixed up, as we also got a sofa which we didn't order. On the other hand screws and manual for the bed were missing. After contacting the customer service it seemed promising, that our issue will be solved and we will not have to live with pieces of furniture in our living room, where our 2 small children would normally play. At the end of the day I was told that the screws will only arrive on Tuesday next week. That I didn't see as a satisfactory solution so I was promised that my issue will be solved asap. I didn't receive any good suggestion how to solve this although I was promised I will be informed about the solution on Saturday. The hopeless mailing conversation continued during the coming days and finally I was told that the screws will arrive on 1st of May. This is simply unacceptable and the lack of response to my suggested solution is beyond my understanding.

we are very upset about Your final review of us. Let us try to put a little more good light on the whole situation:

Katerina got the bed on Saturday the 19th of April. Unfortuantely the package with screws for the bed went missing.

We arranged with our supplier an extra set for Katerina which we sent with GLS on Wednesday the 25th of April. Due to holidays and GLS' internal issues, GLS announced to Katerina the package would be first delivered after the 01st of May! Very unfortuanate, but let us agree, not really dependent from us.

Of course, we couldn't leave Katerina in this case. We arranged rapidly a second set from our supplier, which we delivered on Saturday the 28th of April with our own transport. To show how much we care about our good opinion, we arranged extra two people to help Katerina montage the bed on that Saturday.

Afterall it turned out the GLS package was delivered to Katerina on Monday the 30th of April.

Our Customer Service has never let Katerina down, on the contrary, our Customer Service was fighting hard to make it up to the customer.


Unfortunate events shall not be a reason to judge one's attitude or behavior.
