Quick delivery, good price, nice website, I had a question for customers services and they quickly responded, excellent all around.

used to think they were great until they started putting accessories in your basket without asking, forcing you to go back and deselect them! Blatantly hoping you won't notice and will just rush the order through. Very dishonest.
Edit in response to reply - it's not difficult - just go on your own site and try to buy a pi zero w.
Maybe it's a bug, I mean the search facility is broken so maybe, but its hard to see how the site can accidentally add a whole list of very specific relevant items by accident. Sort it out.

UPDATE: I had a direct email from Jacob the owner apologising for my experience and explaining that the product was shipped as expected but the paper trail was manual. Having received the product within the 2 day window I'm now happy to increase my rating.

Need to pick up their game if they want to compete with other online services.

Their website states "we aim to ship all orders placed before 2pm on the same working day.". Therefore you can understand my disappointment when the order placed before 2pm (and I have the transaction confirmation & order emails showing before 2pm!) , was marked processed about 2:58 but only shipped the following day. As it was free delivery due to the value of the items ordered I happily accepted the 2 days ship time by Royal mail but the extra 1 day delay due to not meeting their 'ship by promise' means that the demo I was doing to my code club is postponed.

If you can't meet you goals, then change your timing. Although remember most of your competitors have a 3pm cut-off.

has most of the things beginners need, the only drawback is the prices for some things that are cheaper elsewhere.

I just wanted to send you a quick note in commendation of Jean @ ModMyPi. First, I would like to say that she is protecting and looking out for your company for your company. When I first put in my order, because I am in a foreign country and working in a small school, Jean had the forethought to send me an email to confirm that I was legit and not some kind of scam with fake credit card information. Second, Jean was very helpful in completing my order once confirmation was made that I worked at a real school and was not a scam. She communicated with me the precise delivery date of my order. The order was delivered on time, but because I am new to working in this country she explained the full customs procedure on completing delivery!
Though all of this, I can guarantee that my school's middle school robotics program will always use the GoPiGo robots and I will be ordering from ModMyPi for the foreseeable future. I am also going to tell every other Education Technology Supervisor at every school that I encounter at every conference I attend about the excellent service!
Before starting my career in teaching, I worked in the service industry and I know good service when I encounter it and Jean should be teaching and be a model of great service!

I had meant to write a quick review a while back but never had the time. Had a query with my order after I received an incorrect part. Emailed the complaint over, and there were no if's or but's just a prompt and very positive response to my query where they let me keep the incorrect part, and shipped the correct part the same day.
Nowadays you only tend to hear about the bad experiences, so I just wanted to at least say thanks for the Great customer services as this was a positive experience.
Will be purchasing from you guys again.

I love this company! Until now, I’ve been ordering my Pi parts from several sources but was consistently let down. The frustrations I always experienced with other vendors - wasted days waiting for delivery, slow customer service & generally poor support. A friend said they’d never had any issues with ModMyPi, so I gave them a go. Communication through order placement to shipping, and tracking with shipping was excellent, and all emails I sent were replied to quickly in a helpful & friendly way.I ended up sending a part back, as it didn’t function as I needed it to, and from experience, I know ModMyPi takes customer feedback very seriously. When I returned the product, I explained the reasons for the return, and within days it was removed from their site with an apology and a discount code, in addition to a list of alternative products!I have and will continue to recommend you to everyone I know. I am new to the Raspberry Pi, but an avid tech enthusiast, so I couldn't wait to dip my toe into the world of Pi. I had look at the starter kits available and was a little confused over which would suit my needs as available, and was a little confused over which would suit my needs as someone totally new to the Pi. A quick email to clarify, and a lightning fast and helpful response, meant I ended up spending significantly less than originally intended. There were no false upsells, just clear and concise information over what I’d need to get started. I am a big fan of this type of attitude, so thanks!
Also, if you’re looking at the Raspberry Pi, it’s a great bit of kit, fun and it works!

Great customer service and speedy deliveries

I ordered several components from ModMyPi for work, at very short notice, as we were preparing a novel workshop with a very short prior notice.

As per the website, I made sure to order before 1pm, and every single one of these deliveries arrived the next working day, which was essential for successfully delivering the workshop. On one occasion, I had to order later during the afternoon (around 2:30pm), called the friendly customer advisor, and still received the items the next morning.

Needless to say, I will return as a customer should we need reliable parts quickly again, and will unreservedly recommend ModMyPi to colleagues and friends. Do keep up the good work.

I have been a customer for over a year, but after my last order this will no longer be the case.

Prior to ordering, I sent a query via their website, informing them of some issues I had been experiencing with the courier they used. Due to needing the items, I went ahead and placed my usual order. The following day, I received a reply, apologising for the service I had received. The conversation went back and forth across the course of the day.

I was expecting the order to have been dispatched as per the next working day delivery stated on their website. I emailed to query the status of my order when I hadn't received it as expected, and was informed they assumed I wanted to cancel my order so they hadn't dispatched it. At no point in our conversation had I stated or even implied I wanted to cancel my order.

After placing the order on a Sunday morning, I would have expected to have received it on the following Tuesday. It wasn't delivered until the Friday.

At no point in our conversations did modmypi or their representatives make any attempt at a genuine apology, or try to retain my business. As a consequence, I left feedback of my experience on their Facebook page, which they have since deleted.

Mistakes do happen, but it is how a company deals with it. Modmypi have proven themselves to be totally incompetent, and their customer service is beyond lacking.

I've ordered several products ranging from Raspberry Pi that I use as a video player, to leads sd cards and parts for my Pi. Delivery is fast and prompt and they always seem to have what I need in stock like the OTG USB hub with Ethernet adaptor which works with my Raspberry Pi
Next I plan on getting a led Pi hat and maybe a dac for my audio and visual needs.

I liked that they accept credit cards so that I didn't have to use PayPal which is horrible.

First order from ModMyPi, finding stuff on the site was easy and pricing is very good. Ordering items is pretty much average and the same as most other ecommerce sites.

Despatch time seems to be a little slow, my order is still processing, when I thought it would have been shipped by now.

Update: I had to contact customer services regarding my order, and they resolved it for the next working day! Highly impressed, so have up my rating due to this.

I placed an order with ModMyPi one week ago, and everything arrived in Belgium 2 days later. The ordering process was flawless (their website is very good), and the goods were packaged very well and arrived in excellent condition.

A couple of days later, a critical component failed. I needed to have a replacement 1 day later to meet my deadline for a project. Jean at ModMyPi was extremely helpful. She contacted me instantly asking how she could be of assistance. I arranged for a courier to pick up the component for a ultra-express delivery, and Jean made sure it got collected in time, keeping me informed throughout the day. 2 thumbs up for ModMyPi, and THANK YOU Jean!

Great service, Had a missing part but was resolved within days. All round excellent customer service
