Like everyone else, I have hade unauthorised payments come out of my account via my PayPal. They have taken 3 payments of £5.99 whin 7 days! I have no idea who they are or what I'm paying for. Annoyingly, I am unable to get my money back!

I was charged £5.99 monthly by this shit by a Chinese purchase of a mini Doorbell 😡
Luckily I checked my PayPal and cancelled it, bloody scamming bastards.

Absolute joke !
Tried to buy car parking and was ask to confirm.
Then got an email saying I’d signed up for a recurring payment of £5.99 per week until cancelled.
I’ve cancelled my subscription in PayPal and can’t only hope this ends this farce.

This company are fraudulent and have somehow hacked into my pay pal account to take 3 x £5.99 payments after I made a Uber enquiry vs PayPal. How paypal and google allow this company to carry on scamming so many people is worrying to say the least....beware of EVER verifying your paypal account! I had to phone PayPal to get these payments stopped…… This was yesterday 18th October 2025.

They have comiimtted fraud i have stopped any future payments through paypal and made the account for them innactive

Somehow they are trying to make me pay $7.99/week for a membership through my Paypal which has been trying to take money out of my personal bank which I never signed up for. Trying to cancel on Paypal has been an ongoing nightmare, found the website to this mobi website but when I try to do the contact us online form after filling it out won't send it telling me I got to do a Captcha which then freezes the screen and doesn't send you to a captcha. I am so done.

Exactly the same experience as others who have reported this ‘outfit’ as fake and fraudulent. Somehow they have hacked into my PayPal account and taken £5.99 along with setting up a monthly debit. Avoid!!!

Subscription setup unbeknown to me, I didn’t ask for it and I don’t want it, whatever it is I don’t have a use for it, I don’t know how it even happened, HMRC & I am now in the process of contacting my Local Trading Standards.

I would not even give a 1 * but had to be able to write this review!! No authorised payment agreed but have taken 3 x £5.99 - went through PayPal resolution was a waste of time. Went to modomobi website and cancelled the subscription thatI did not set up. Received confirmation from PayPal payments have been cancelled. Total scam. I will be closing PayPal account.

As per all the other reviews it a scam some how set up weekly payments while I was buying dog food cancelled as soon as I saw email . PayPal need to stop this company I don’t think I will use PayPal again.

I was trying to install a parking app. In the middle of the process I was asked for my PayPal account for verification, which seemed reasonable. At what point Modo-Mobi hijacked the process I don't know but to me this is criminal fraud.

A direct payment was set up in my paypal with no authorisation. This is a scam. I had the email from paypal confirming the set up. I have cancelled this.

Not even sure what I clicked on , had to cancel thru PayPal.

This company have set up an automatic payment through my Paypal account since 16th April 2025 & appear to be taking regular weekly payments I knew nothing about. I have tried to contact the company with no success & also tried going through the resolution process with Paypal but they have just washed their hands with it & suggested it was authorised.
