I purchased the Obsidian 2 years ago, and last month I purchased 2 more Mokwheel E-Bikes. Another Obsidian for sure. It just exceeds my my expectations for an E-bike. Today I took the obsidian on a 25 mile rough terrain bike trail, loaded with tree roots, and many hills and sandy areas. The Obsidian makes the ride a breeze and comfortable with the shock absorption. Fat tires breezed through the sand areas and up steep hills with no effort, and I’m 63! I also have the dog carrier and bike hitch. The bike hitch is very solid and I feel very secure with its ability to hold 2 Obsidian bikes down the highway.

I originally bought the wife a bike. After riding it, I decided I wanted one too. High quality. I like the way the battery is incorporated into the frame. Plenty of power!

I’m writing to express my deep disappointment with the customer service I’ve received so far regarding a warranty replacement for my Mokwheel Mesa ST 1.0 bike seat. To summarize: the original seat was damaged and a replacement was supposed to be sent under warranty. However, instead of the seat, I received a metal rotor. I understand that mistakes happen, and when I contacted Mokwheels support team, the representative acknowledged the error and assured me that the correct seat would be sent promptly. Unfortunately, two weeks later, I’ve received yet another metal rotor instead of the seat. Orders 26738 and 40556. Called back again. This time I was assured that the correct item would be sent. Two weeks later - still nothing received, and customer service told me today that probably the seat was lost on the way to DHL shipping company or somewhere else. Tracking says the part is en route to DSL, the status is not updated since May 28th 2025. Noone could escalate the issue so far, seems that at Mokwheel noone cares about their customers after purchase is made. Very frustrating. Diana K

Great bikes. The arrived fast and in perfect condition. We absolutely love them. The deluxe accessory packs were well worth the price. One thing that impressed me as a wanna be mechanic, is that they sent backup nuts and bolts and even brake pads on both our bikes. That is great customer service.

We spent a lot of time researching and designs of electric bikes and so glad we landed on Mokwheel!

After reading several reviews, I was hesitant on ordering because the only thing that was being reported as negative was the shipping delays and lack of communication with customer service.

We decided to move forward and crossed our finger that, based off of reviews maybe the company improved response time and ironed out the kinks with shipping. I can report that something has changed or maybe we got lucky!

They arrived with in 2 weeks and in the best, heaviest, and structurally sound packing I’ve ever seen. No damage at. They are heavy solid bikes. Not a complaint but I’d recommend having a support partner with you.

We received all the tools necessary to put the bike together and it’s a great kit to keep with the bike while riding.

We are having so much fun on them.well worth the investment!

Love my Obsidian ST. Been wanting an E-bike for awhile and did lots of research. This bike is a beast. Pretty easy to put together and so far so good! Very stable ride! Live it!

I love my Mesa plus ST. The bike was delivered to my house promptly, and was easy to put together using the quality tools and directions provided. I am impressed with the quality, comfort, and battery life between charges. The styling of my Mesa also turns heads as i ride around my neighborhood.

After powering up the bike i noticed one lamp within the side LED cluster was out. I called mokwheel and spoke to their easy to reach friendly staff. The new lamp was being shipped to me within hours. Very satisfied.

My husband bought the bike for me. It is a great bike for the road, the beach and dirt trails. The Basalt ST came earlier than expected and was easy to assemble. We also purchased the front basket for quick trips to the store. I'm enjoying the bike. Love the blinkers. Great value.

After a lot of research on all of the e bikes on the market I selected the Mokwheel Obsidian ST to best fit my needs.
I live in the country and most all of my trips are off road and the fat tires and full suspension makes the e bike handle great. The suspension is also adjustable so I was able to tune it based on my weight to get the most comfortable ride.
I also ordered the front basket so that my Yorki can ride along. The basket is built very strong and just the right size for a small dog.
Another reason that I chose Mokwheel is the amount of service centers available should I ever need one.
I have had my Mokwheel Obsidian ST for about 3 months and I love it.

I've had the obsidian for about a month now. In that time it's been on paved Roads and some lights off-roading trails. The bike has performed very well. Even added a toddler seat, and my toddler enjoys the smoother ride from the rear suspension. Shipping was fast, and the assembly was fairly simple all in all it's been a great purchase.

Easy use great construction, fast shipping and customer service has been hood for any questions I've had.
I've put on 426.4 miles since purchase, on a mix of trails and oonroad, this Basalt has been flawless.

Purchased the Obsidian. Solid construction and shipping was fast. Impressive packaging, every part secured tightly and wrapped. Loving the fat tires and suspension. Great on or off-road bike.

The selection at Mokwheel is okay, but I expected more variety in the bikes. The staff was friendly and helpful, which was a plus. Overall, decent place but not exceptional.

Ordered the basalt st 2.0. Everything arrived fast and in great shape. Easy to assemble and riding in no time. I’m 54 and this this is comfortable to ride and sure make it fun to be on a bike again. It helps take the edge off riding uphills and in the wind. Definitely like Mokwheel and would recommend it to anyone

After doing a lot of research on dual suspension ebikes I decided to buy the Mokwheel Obsidian and I'm very happy I did.The bike is every thing I hoped it would be.I use it mainly for riding easy and sometimes hard single track MTB trails here in Florida where we have a lot of tree roots to deal with and it handles them with ease and comfort.It's like riding a Cadillac car, powerful, smooth and predictable. It was delivered when they said it would be, it was packaged very well with no issues about damages,and was very easy to put together, it's a very well built and a beautiful bike, I'm very proud to own this bike and to take it out on the trails to show it off. Their customer service is world class with an immediate response every time I call and I do call a lot with questions and comments to make just because I enjoy talking about the ebike with their highly knowledgeable staff. So if your looking at a Mokwheel bike to buy, look no further because like I said I did a ton of research and looked at many other bike companies. I ride it almost everyday and have put about 300 miles on it in the couple of weeks I've had it, it's a ton of fun to ride and a good way to get exercise at the same time!

We love our Mokwheel bikes. We own three of them and enjoy each one. We have two Basalt ST’s and one Mesa Plus ST. We love the power they have and the distance you can go on one charge. We take them to Cades Cove and ride thru the cove which has many steep hills to climb and they do it with such ease and a very smooth ride. We also ride them on the riverfront here in Chattanooga and they are easy to maneuver when approaching walkers which is important for us older (72 and 68) folks knowing that we won’t loose control and possibly hurt someone else or hurt ourselves. We have a local bicycle shop where we take them to get them checked out from time to time and when we have needed parts he has been able to contact Mokwheel and they send what we are needing directly to him. You simply can’t beat that for great customer service! We have so many good, fun and memorable moments because of owning these bikes plus they help to keep us active. I can’t recommend them enough no matter what your age you will have a great time when you ride.

My wife and I decided that we wanted to have a couple E-Bikes to take with us on camping trips. We ordered two from Mokwheel and we could not be happier. We ordered the full accessory kits with both so that we could add some extra comfort and the ability to carry items on the bikes. They were very easy to assemble and learn to operate. We are very happy with our purchase.

Love my Obsidian. Everything arrived quickly and was easy to install. Suspension is great. Build quality is great. I'm 5' 7" and the bike just fits me. If you're shorter, you may want to consider a version without the top bar. Also, Mokwheel has an assembly video that is helpful in identifying which parts go where.

Well, I've been riding ebikes since 2020 and have over 20,000 miles on them. My favorite ebike is a Juiced Bikes Ripcurrent S. It's torque sensor, range, response was the best. I also upgraded to a color lcd which made it even better. It used a 52V system with a 19.6Ah battery. The range was near 80-100 miles. I got hit by a car which messed up the controller and the battery. Unfortunately Juiced Bikes went out of business so I could no longer get parts.

Now for the Mokwheel Basalt. It kinda does have a torque sensor, but it seems to work more like a cadence sensor. It is very laggy. Especially going up a hill. I almost always have to hit the throttle to keep going. The whole ECO/Power on the display is goofy. When I need the power, I want it immediately. But in order to preserve power, it doesn't work that way. It also seems to use the gear you are in to apply power at different speeds. The way power is applied in any power assist level seems the same to me. The throttle seems like an on/off rather then a range of speed. One thing missing is the cruise control mode when you hit the Down button. It works in power only mode but not in power assist. It should work in both.

I wish the display split the battery level with 1/2 and 1/4 markers standing out. It's hard to tell how much battery is left. The power display shows how laggy the power assist is. I would rather have a Watt meter instead of a power bar that really has no meaning.

I bought the bike based on a review on youtube. And it was really the only ebike with 19.6Ah battery and a torque sensor. It will do the job for me currently. But Juiced Bikes bought by the Lectrik bike company owners. I'll probably get my old ebike fixed or by a new one.

The Basalt is ok, but I may have selected a differnt bike if I was able to test drive it. It works for now.
