Mixed experience, Opened an ISA for both myself and my partner for new tax year, and transferred £100 into each to ensure payment went through before transferring balance of £19,900 to max out both ISAs. My ISA showed deposits also at instantly, although pending, which was to be expected and starting earn ing interest next day. However, my partners experience has been very different, same methods of depositing, but although full balance showing no interest has been earned and he has been notified that Interest rate was well below that advertised as balance was below £500, even though it shows as £20,000 again pending.

Poor customer service
I had initially wanted to transfer my existing cash ISA account to moneybox cash ISA but experienced issues. The customer service on every contact shared incorrect information and the final straw was when they suggested to support with opening a LISA account. This would be terrible for me financially. They never responded to my emails. Absolutely disappointed in this whole process and lack of attention to detail, especially about the type of account I wished to open.

Best thing I did was move my cash Isa’s to this company . Very strait forward to set up . And All the information you need in the app to track your progress with a fantastic interest rate to boot . Makes saving a breeze !

I had never heard of Moneybox and found them on MSE. It’s a brilliant app, they were really quick at transferring my ISA in and the customer service is excellent. 5 stars! Great deal on the ISA rate and it tells you each step of the process really simply and easily, very efficient app.

I've been using Moneybox for the past 5 years. Not gonna waste your time reading this but the service they provide is the best and would definitely recommend it!
Me and my partner saved for our first house through (LISA) account and even helped me save some money on top with the other accounts. I wish I started earlier!
The withdrawal of money couldn't be more simple for any of the accounts which is a huge plus!
I was worried at first but I want to thank Moneybox for helping us save for our future home!

Update: While the initial customer service experience was poor and caused unnecessary stress, I appreciate that they eventually took ownership and fixed the problem quickly. I have updated my rating to reflect this final positive outcome.
Original Review: I am highly disappointed with the in-app chat support. Their response times are incredibly slow, and although the chat system shows the agents as "online", they send a single message and then stop responding entirely. You can write ten messages to them, and they will only reply with one brief answer. To make matters worse, they seem to completely ignore any follow-up questions. It is incredibly frustrating when you are trying to resolve an issue ASAP, only to be left waiting without any clear timeframe for a response. It is a real shame because their Cash ISA interest rates are actually very competitive, but this unprofessional communication significantly ruins the experience.

Since my previous review , I have had the most exceptional customer experience with Jess who deserves a medal! Unfortunately I am not used to doing anything online for my husband or myself which has caused many issues because of my user error. Jess has been working so hard with me to guide , resolve and assist me. Her attention to detail in her replies are meticulous and her support and guidance has been faultless. I can not put into words how much this has taken the stress and worry away of using an app/online. So much so that she has given me the confidence and motivation to learn from my many mistakes and that Moneybox is always there for superb support and guidance.
