I have a Spartan I set up at my home. The interface is simple to set up and manage, the app works great (easy to manage and monitor via mobile) and the detections work no matter the weather.
The privacy-first approach is key and it's great to keep all data at home, and retain functionality even when AWS or Azure go down.
Great product, would highly recommend!

I bought the Monitoreal Base a couple month ago. Installation and configuration have been really easy and straight forward. I faced a minor technical issue and the support reacted even better than I expected. Fast, competent, user oriented, friendly. It is a great system where I can decide what cameras to use, without 3rd party systems or external storage solutions involved. The object recognition alerts me only if a predefined event happens (I have chosen the Telegram messenger as the way to be informed). That keeps the number of false alerts (which would -on a long run lead to ignoring the alerts) to an absolute minimum. I would surely recommend the system. Currently I am thinking about buying the Monitoreal Relay and replace my current motion sensor. Ignoring wild animals and just switching the lights in my yard on if a person or car is detected sounds too tempting especially if you have a lot of deer, bats and cats running around.
