Ready to buy, but no reply

I was ready to buy something from them and sent them an e-mail query just to check that the product was in stock, as it wasn't clear from the website. They never bothered to respond. This behaviour seems pretty consistent with the company's apparent casual disregard for the customer reported by other reviewers here. I'll take my custom elsewhere, thanks.

3 months and no refund

Ordered a pair of sunglasses back in January 2025. Once I placed the order, a few days later I got refunded without any correspondence. Assuming they were just out of stock, I ordered another pair from a different company. Monokel then charged me again 6 weeks later, again without any correspondence. I obviously no longer needed the pair they sent me, so sent them back. It’s been 3 months and I have still yet to receive a refund. Really poor experience. Be careful buying from this seller.

I just saw there was a reply to my…

I just saw there was a reply to my first review. I'm sure not all sunglasses are repairable,. but these were. I got them fixed. My review was for the customer service and zero help, not the style or sunglasses themselves. The tonedeath reply i received here is basically what im talking about. Talking when they should be listening.

Don't order

EDIT: The reply to this review is a complete lie. I tried contacting the email address mentioned several times, no reply. I have checked my spam and junk mailbox, never received any confirmation or correspondence from the company. My order was never delivered. This reply is the first time I've ever heard back from this company. I have no reason to lie about this, luckily I have been refunded through Klarna but I don't want anyone else making the same mistake of ordering from this company.

Would not recommend ordering from this company and actually wish I had had a look at these reviews before placing an order myself. Placed an order over a week ago, have been charged so assume the order has gone through but no way of knowing because I have had no confirmation, no shipping updates, no communication what so ever, no product delivered, no reply to my email enquiries. And there is no other way to contact the company. I can only hope my glasses turn up one day and I won't have any issues because I can only imagine what a hassle returns would be. Update: A month and a half later, I never received the glasses or any reply from the company whatsoever. I paid using Klarna and luckily have just had my amount refunded, but no way of knowing if this was just because I had to escalate the issue with Klarna. I suspect if I had paid by card, I would not have seen my money again. I repeat, DO NOT ORDER from this company.

Terrible customer service

I bought a pair of sunglasses online but unfortunately they didn’t fit so I returned them. It has now been 5 months and I still haven’t received the refund. It’s impossible to get in contact with anyone at the company. I Have tried thru email and instagram but still nothing has happened.

The worst customer service experience…

The worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. The sunglasses I bought were faulty and broke after 2 wears. Send an e-mail twice trying to send them back and have them fixed and didn’t get any response for months! I have been completely ignored, and now being left with broken sunglasses for 150€. Really not ok. Don’t recommend this brand to anyone!

what a scam company

what a scam company. received a product which did not match at all the picture displayed on the website. I returned the sunglasses and waiting to receive my money back since weeks... still not processed and the helpline is mute!

Bad return policy!

Delivery was fast.
Product looks smaller in pictures. Tried to exchange it.
Their policy says the following regarding exchanges: "We are currently unable to handle direct exchanges. If you wish to change your product for a different one please complete the return registration here in order to return your original order. Please, place a new order for the product you are interested in."

This means, i payed 165EUR and they are only able to refund 138EUR.

This is the policy of refund.

I want an exchange, and there is a failure on this process.

Please sort this out somehow in order to keep your clients.
