The true taste of France! I have really missed the taste of home while being in the UK and was great having it all delivered right to my door. Ordering was straightforward & prices reasonable.
Avoid - items substituted, late and damaged. Customer Service appalling.

All items damaged as inadequate packaging.
Shanda in Customer Services refused any refund - (she just ignores all points and says they are a small company). 4 emails later, refunded delivery charge after I pointed out she could claim from DPD.
Refusing to compensate or part refund order for damaged and missing quantity. (I asked for 1 additional bottle to be sent or refunded)
Will now attempt chargeback through card.

I have now placed 3 orders with this company. I was a bit apprehensive as some of the reviews were not very favourable but I decided to go ahead and I do not regret it! I got a partial refund on my first order (I did have to chase a bit for it) and I have just received my 2nd order of all Xmas chocolates! The papillotes take me back to my childhood and I was so pleased with the service and quick delivery that I immediately placed another order for the same! So. I can honestly say I am very happy with this company, which offers a link to France and its wonderful products. THANK YOU!
Month on, no delivery, no answers
Placed an order on 17 Sep 23. 19 Sep 23 I received a "partially unfulfilled order" email. The order was for 2 items of the same thing, neither had shipped so the "partially unfullfiled" was a misnomer.
19 Oct 23 still waiting for my goods, no response to emails nor are they answering the 'phone.

I wish I read the reviews before ordering...
I had a very unpleasant experience with them like everyone else here. First they sent me a wrong item and reading at the reviews it seems to be a normal practise in this company even if they claim it was an unusual mistake. Then after sending me a partial order they never send me the 4 missing items. The customer service Shanda is a joke, I am not sure they are actual adults behind this website or it's well managed by 2 thiefs. Obviously I don't recommend anyone this website they should actually stop their business as they are only stealing people's money. Shame on you !!!!

How are they even in business?
Very bad service
I ordered Muscador rose wine from them. I ordered it on the 1st of April and finally got it on the 4th of May. I sent email after email, they kept saying that they don't have it in stock. So they let you order things that are NOT even in stock. And they said it was very hard to get. I paid £6.00 for 2-3 days delivery. When I mentioned compensation they totally ignored that part of the email. I also said I wanted to complain and they said I did not have to complain and never gave me any details to complain. I did get my wine 1 or 2 days later though after that email. Then to top it all off I left a review on there site and they are not even publishing it.
Weeks to deliver rotten food, non existent customer service.
I was looking to try ordering some food items with a view to seeing what the quality and service was like from Mon Panier Latin because I was looking for somewhere where I could place regular orders. Also, on their website it states that orders are dispatched with 2 to 3 days.
With this in mind I ordered 2 jars of pate.
The order took WEEKS to be dispatched, in fact it was so long that I actually forgot I’d ordered from them!
When it did arrived, the seal on one of the pate containers was broken, this rendered the contents completely rotten.
So I emailed Mon Panier Latin over 2 WEEKS AGO. I initially received an automated email of acknowledgment. That, however, was it. Nothing.
Not only do they not check what they send out when they do eventually get round to doing it, they also have non existent customer service.
My advice. If you’re best on ordering from here, make sure you order at least 2 months before you need it, be prepared for the food to be rotten and also don’t mind if they can’t make the effort to respond.
Over two months and still no money has reached my account from items not received
It took over two months for me to receive a notification of an impending refund from Monpanier. But 6 days later, I received today (coincidentally, or not, since writing this review today) a notification from PayPal that the refund dated 16th Feb is taking longer than expected from the company. This is worrying news indeed as it is over half the order value and almost 30 pounds I have waited already 2 months to get back.
This is a company I would not use again for both this reason and the fact they took all the money in the first place knowing they did not have half of the goods available. They should not be charging me ahead without checking if items are in stock or available, and they should if an issue arises later with stock such as a breakage or lost parcel be refunding promptly within 10 days to PayPal.

I had an incredible experience with Mon Panier Latin. My daughters love the galettes des rois frangipane, we ordered a large quantity for the Epiphany celebrations, and in only 3 days we were delivered. It was my first experience with them. Thank you Mon Panier Latin go ahead, I would not hesitate to recommend.
Where's my refund?
This company accepted my order, but it became very clear very quickly that they couldn't supply the goods. The email response I received made no reference to a delivery time frame or whether they even had the goods in stock. I decided to cancel the order. You can guess the rest. Mon Panier Latin have failed to process a refund despite repeated requests. Defrauding or scamming customers is not a good business model. Avoid this company. There are several other reliable French food wholesalers out there.

Terrible experience. The order took even longer than their longest expected time (which was a week longer than pretty much anyone else on the internet now). The order didn't show up (using APC not RM during their strike), didn't show up on their second proposed time, turned up the third time but I refused to accept it as it had fresh produce in it that needed to be kept refrigerated. I had to work hard for a refund and guess what, it failed. Paypal help says the principal reason is normally a lack of funds in the account so I really wonder if this company is financially stable. I have tried interacting and, to be fair they have answered some of the emails, but just not very well. It gets even better. When my wife accepted a parole just before Christmas, it was my refused parcel. I asked Mon Panier Latin what they wanted - I would agree a date for them collect it - they said I had to pay otherwise I wouldn't get a refund. Fortunately their customer service is so bad, I suspect they must get a lot of issues, as the same lady didn't remember anything about my order issues or refund issues every time, so I'd had the refund by that point. I've just opened the parcel now as they've gone past the date I said I would hold it for, and it turns out they couldn't even get the order right in the first place. They'd replaced one of the items with a cheaper product, and hadn't;t even mentioned it. Appalling service, appalling processes and, in my view, not a reliable or trustworthy company at all. I'll post this where I can to warn other potential customers.

Dodgy customer care
I made a food order of more than £40 amongst which was a 1kg pack of frozen potatoes worth more than £4. The whole pack arrived completely defrosted and I had to throw it in the bin.
I emailed them to ask either for a refund or that a new pack be sent. They refused saying they were not responsible for how frozen food arrived when delivered outside London!
So my advice, if you live outside London don't buy anything frozen or fresh food for they won't accept any responsibility if it arrives in a poor state - they will accept your money but send the article not caring whether it arrives fresh or not. Is their policy the same for fresh food items? I wonder...
