Worked at the accessorize in Southampton West quay as a temp, it was terrible. Was constantly pushed to do most of the work while managers and permanent colleagues just chatted away at the tills. I saw another colleague get completely disrespected by Melody Ross (manager) she was so rude and fake to temps, everyone there dislikes her and tries to get on with it so they don't lose their jobs. I advise customers to shop elsewhere, this brand doesn't have good quality items either. Most of the stuff is flimsy and jewellery is often so highly priced for what it is.
If you are planning on working here be prepared, especially of melody I don't understand how someone can be so rude and disrespectful, I hope one day she realises treating workers with respect is not that hard and that she need to change because there is a reason people avoid her!

If I could I would give zero stars. 6weeks since I've returned the item I am still waiting for a refund. Sent multiple emails and called twice customer service- been informed my refund already been issued last week and I'll have my money back in up to 5 days... still no refund even tho 5 days passed! Absolute joke! Will be talking it further as I just simply want my money back for the item I've already returned!

I had my ear piercing on the 12th of January. The service I got was the worst ever. Person who's done it was so unhelpful and rude. She just didn't want me there. Didn't answer any of my qustions. Also, she had a very poor personal hygiene. I would never go back there or recommend it to anyone.

I have read the reviews on Trustpilot and was a bit apprehensive about ordering for the first time as there seen to be a lot of issue with returns. However my experience is totally positive. I did not keep any of the dresses as they just didn't suit me although the quality was very good. I received an email within a week of returning the items, confirming a full refund.

One of the worst customer experience I have ever had. The online customer service team is absolutely incompetent to provide basic customer service. Kerry one of the assistant called me by different name. Stephanie the customer service manager absolutely dismissed all my questions she kept closing the ticket my enquairy was logged under saying my enquairy had been settled. Customer service is non existing and absolutely ignorant approach with no care in the world. Neither of them were helpful, no empathy, no offering another solution, no warm or friendly tone - just cold carless automatic replies. They both either need hard core re-training what customer service is all about or both need to be let go. 3 weeks later and my enquairy still hasnt been settled and no communication whatsoever. I'm interested to know if Nick Stowe bothers to read any of these feedback and reach out to get better understanding what is going on behind the close door in customer service team.

Ripped off by buying online
Bought some shoes online that were priced at £45 plus delivery. When they arrived, the label on the bottom of the shoe and the label attached to the shoes had a marked down price of £13.90. I emailed Monsoon to explain this with photos of the sale tickets and asked for this to be rectified. I got a reply saying there was nothing they could do. I was very suprised and disgusted that you could pay over £30 more for a product online and that the retailer would do nothing about it!
Impossible to get a refund
I bought a dress in the Oxford Street store for £26 without a tag on it. The shop assistant processed it at the till by putting in the code from the stitched in label and I paid with my credit card. I tried it on at home and it didn’t fit so I went into the St Paul’s store to return it. I had the receipt by the way. The store manager at St Paul’s (Vicky) refused to process the refund because it didn’t have a tag on it. I said to her that I bought it without a tag, at which she raised her voice saying ‘DON’T BE AGGRESSIVE’. She refused to process the refund and said that I need to go back into the Oxford Street store so they can check the CCTV. When I said that seems unreasonable she continued to call me aggressive whilst pointing her finger at me. When I said that the customer service was appalling, especially since it was her that was pointing her finger at me, she said she knows what’s she’s been doing as she’s been in retail for 19 years. She also asked her assistants to refuse to respond to me when I questioned why they would need to check CCTV for me to get a refund.
I just cannot believe how atrocious the customer service is. Just completely shocking. I’ve been a loyal customer for years and can honestly say the experience with Vicky has put me off ever buying from Accessorize again.
AVOID at all cost!
Ordered item that came faulty missing one crystal. I don’t understand how this passed quality check in the first place. Sent back for a full refund. No acknowledgment email or refund actioned. I’m absolutely appalled. I will take the matter with credit card company.
DOUBLE CHARGED FOR AN ORDER MADE IN OCT 2020, THEY TOOK PAYMENT THEN AND THEN CHARGED AGAIN IN AUGUST 2021 FOR IT - BAFFLED
I purchased an order for £32.55 in October and the payment came out fine. On 5th August 2021 the same payment was taken again £32.55, I haven't even been to Accessorize and on the date of transaction it says October 2020. I am baffled by this, don't have the order number/online receipt anymore as over 6 months ago. Luckily I noticed this but could have quite easily not have, very odd and wonder how many other accounts they've charged like this.

Worst ever customer service … I returned an item and never received the refund … and customer service team are not doing anything about it eve after providing them with the proof of return via Royal Mail tracking !!

THEIVES! CROOKS. I've gone to the store several times and spent fortunes on stuff there. This has got to be at least the 4th time the sales assistants forgot to pack items they charged me for. Its really not that difficult. Im sick of coming home & unwrapping the paper to find items missing, but surprise surprise, they never forget to charge me! I wish their work ethics & skills/service matched their confidence. The latest item was a £25 rose-gold plated necklace, which i was really exited to give my mum, only to find it missing from the bag but on the receipt. When you go back to the store, they completely deny it. Customer service is no better. Instead of addressing the problem & finding a way to resolve it.... All they care about is mitigating themselves from liability...no accountability whatsoever. Getting things right for them is RARE. a pleasant experience with them is RARE!! they've robbed me of tens of pounds, I'll never be shopping there again enough is enough!

My fiancé bought me an expensive short sleeved summer jumper/top with embroidered sleeves for £49 as a treat. One wear and one wash (exactly as per the instructions) later the top shrunk to the size of a peanut. Even my mum who is 4ft8 couldn’t wear it. They asked me to review my purchase which I did twice but each time they did not publish it and still there’s only a positive review on the site against this top. It’s wrong to ask for honest reviews and not publish them because the customer writes something they don’t want to hear. And as for a refund, we’ll I’m obviously not going to get that! I thought Monsoon were better than that.
Absolutely awful customer service
Ordered an item before the first lockdown to arrive in store. Couldn’t collect as store was shut. When store reopened summer 2020 I tried to collect my parcel but it had been returned to the warehouse and then subsequently lost by Monsoon. It took me months of emails, phone calls etc until February 2021 to get resolved. Even then I am extremely unhappy with the outcome as they only refunded in a voucher. Appalling service as I had paid in cash and they had lost the parcel. Will never shop there again!!
I was lied too many times during the procedure as they kept saying they had refunded me and that I had to chase my bank and not them. Obviously I could prove that this was a load of rubbish, I think the they just thought they could fob me off. Some members of customer service were quite unpleasant in their responses to my ongoing queries.
How can a company accept an online payment, lose the item and then only refund by voucher!!!

Absolutely appalling service. Ordered from abroad to a shop and shop address, to find out that they do not ship to shop and ship addresses. Money was debited from my card and although order was canceled, money was not refunded to my card. Ordered to another address and 2 weeks later, package has still not arrived.

Atrocious customer service and treatment of the customer. They should be ashamed of themselves. I ordered 2 pairs of earrings which were nothing like the picture online so sent them back unsealed and unopened and untouched. They refused to refund me as they were non returnable, I told them that the earrings hadn’t even been taken out of the packet and that it wasn’t made clear before I ordered them that they were non returnable but they did not care and sent them back to me. I have returned earrings before to other retailers unopened and unused and have always received a refund. I will never be going in accessorize again. Be warned.

Better shopping in store than online . I bought two tops that cost me £21 each to find that when they were delivered they had been reduced to £10.50 each . I phoned and queried this to be told there was nothing they could do as they must have been sourced from one of their stores and not from the warehouse and the price must have gone up again so the price on the ticket could not be given .They then offered me 20percent off my next order on only full price items . So tops going back . Check your price labels people . Not great service fir a big company
