I was very pleased with Montway Auto Transport. They rescued me from a different auto transport company who had excuses after excuses and delays to pick up my car. Montway did not require an upfront deposit, gave a very reasonable quote for the transport, and lived up to what they said. No changing the cost that was quoted. I would highly recommend Montway for any transporting cars. I appreciated the continuous communication from the company and from the drivers. Thank you Montway!!!

I had to make 2 other reservations for my car pick up in fl . Neither other car service showed up put me in a real bind . I called Monterey and they were so professional and more important picked my car in two days . God bless you all 👍

I had a marvelous experience with Montway. They were recommended to me by AARP. I had my car shipped from Pennsylvania to Southern Caifornia. My car was picked up on a Tuesday evening and delivered Friday morning in great condition. The price was perfect, and I was able to reserve a couple of months ahead of time. If I ever have to ship my car again, Montway will be my go to. I highly recommend them.

1st time having a vehicle transported from Mich. to Wash. state. Couldn't have gone better. Professional and thoughtful. Delivered in perfect condition in a timely manor.

I shipped my car from LA to Vegas and I compared several places. Chose this one because of the high BBB rating and they offer an USAA discount.
Everything on their end was as promised and exceeded expectations. My only complaint that didn’t seem worthy of taking off a star:The drop off time was at 6 am and they called my backup person for the pick up which I didn’t appreciate because I was asleep and not answering.
My driver arrived the morning after the late evening of his original estimated time and when I had texted him the previous day (his original estimate) as to when I might expect him I got no reply and then he showed up at 6am. I’m sure when you have so many deliveries that are dependent on other parties to take their car it can be difficult to judge so I get it but any reply would have been helpful. As for the rest of it, for the pickup, loading/unloading, transportation, and safety of the vehicle he was thorough and the car made it quickly and undamaged to its location.
Montway controls all that’s under their control very well and does all they can to ensure a positive experience. Remember this company is ultimately a broker and does not have full control of the drivers as such. You can get a company that owns the fleet but they will be much pricier and slower. I recommend them and will use them again.

Excellent service. Driver kept us posted before pick us as well as during transport, at delivery and follow up. Car was delivered as it was at pickup. Highly recommend Montway!!

Never shipped car before. Chose Montway because it was listed in my AARP Bulletin. Shipped vechile from Missouri to Texas. Got a quote for the cost that was reasonable. What made me to finally choose them is the emails I received daily why to choose them. The only negative was company that pickup my car arrived late evening and delivered it late night. Was not prepared for that. No problems with communications, order number or driver.

I had never had to ship a car before. I did a lot of online research for brokers and Montway was high on the list every place I looked. They gave me a quote for the cost, guaranteed not to change and they kept their word. They set me up with an excellent transport company - good communication and very professional drivers. The car was picked up and delivered within the stipulated time range. Best of all my car arrived in the same shape as when it shipped. No damage, not even a scratch!

VERY SHADY COMPANY!!!!!! Car still hasn't arrived. They aren't responding and no one can tell me where my car is. I would definitely not ever use this company! Very unprofessional. It's 2 weeks overdue and they literally are telling me they don't know why it's late or where my car is located.

Second time shipping a car with Montway a few years apart. Wisconsin to Denver and Wisconsin to Florida. Reasonably priced and very efficient. Great communication from both company and driver. Timelines were met. Terrific experience. I would absolutely use them again.

This company was not honest and did not keep its word when I tried to use them to transport a vehicle purchased (from CA to MI). I should have paid attention to the negative reviews though there were also positive ones. After giving me a contracted price (that includes a statement in the contract policy that this was a guaranteed quote, along with stated in several emails the price was confirmed and would be all I would have to pay (as I questioned them on this up front) they changed both the deposit amount and the total price when it came to getting vehicle picked up and delivered. They stated they had drivers ready to go at the original price, then asked for $100 more on the deposit of $400 I had already paid. Then they responded and said they could not do it for the original price, and that they could only get someone for $1,745 dollars more than quoted (total would now be $3,000) instead of $1,275 which I had a signed contract for. Classic "bait & switch. I requested my deposit be refunded (since vehicle had not yet been picked up) and they asked me to pay another $200 cancellation fee. When I told them the contract policy stated that fee would be deducted from the amount and I just wanted the $300 owed refunded, the refused and said they can't do it that way. Just on principle I was going to find another company to do business with as they were not up front nor honest. Finally, since my vehicle had already been purchased in California and I needed to get it to Michigan, they responded they had someone immediately who would do it for total of $2,400 (including deposit already made). Feeling stuck, I agreed. Then, though I knew I was to pay the carrier/driver COD upon delivery, Montway tried to get me to sign a new contract with the new fee and tried to add my credit card info on it which said I was agreeing to let them charge it (which was not true nor accurate). I made them send a contract without that information since it was to be COD. The carrier/driver that was secured the actual carrier was excellent to work with the but Montway as a broker was terrible. And, could not believe it when after the delivery I received an email (3 times actually) from the broker requested a "tip". Beware!

Terrible and likely fraudulent business. Set up a simple in state vehicle move for a truck I bought out of my area. Spoke personally to an agent to book. Stressed how urgently I needed it by the next week. Gave all requested info. Delivery was booked for 3 days later. Day of pickup I get an EMAIL, not a call saying a new transport was being dispatched. Found out from the car dealer the driver couldn't drive stick shift and canceled when he showed up. At no point was I asked about the transmission. They refuse to do anything to help me, and here I sit with no truck. They claim they are doing their best....I'd hate to see their worst. Asked for discount for inconvenience caused solely ny them, No. Asked for free guaranteed delivery. No. Tried to pay for guarantee out of desperation, suddenly its not available to me. Asked for full refund of deposit so I can go to a real company. No. I can cancel and the cancellation dept will tell me of I have to pay. This is misrepresentation and fraud. Intolerable. They derseve a negative 5 star rating.

Extremely Disappointing and Unprofessional Experience

My experience with Montway Auto Transport and the carrier, Express Caravan LLC, has been extremely frustrating and unacceptable. My vehicle is being transported to my mother, yet no one seems able to provide a clear answer about where the driver or the vehicle currently is.

Communication has been terrible, and I have received little to no useful information regarding the delivery status. It is very concerning to trust a company with your vehicle and then be unable to get accurate tracking information or a dependable update. Both Montway Auto Transport and Express Caravan LLC have handled this situation very unprofessionally.

Customers should not have to repeatedly call and search for answers about the location of their own vehicle. Based on my experience, I would not recommend either company. I expected reliable communication, accountability, and professional service, but instead I have been left worried and completely in the dark.

Terrible communication. Does not respect scheduled days. Could not answer any question about pick up because theyre not the carrier. This is a middle man service. Wish I could give 0 stars. I needed to verify if the driver was able to drive down my street for pick up, if not, I needed more notice to schedule someone to assist for drop off. They could ot answer until the carrier was assigned and once the carrier is asigned there is no way to cancel cleanly without owing these scammers money. I got a simple text with the drivers number. No additional information, no times, no dates, no emails. I had to reach out to the driver to get all of this information. I requested at least 48 hours notice. I have the support chat transcript confirming it. Found out through the driver after I called them myself that the car will be picked up the next day. This company does not care about the customer at all. They are a middle man only.

Do not use this company. They were uncommunicative, rude, and dismissive of my concerns and questions about the delivery of the vehicle. The transport truck broke down several times along the delivery route and the staff at Montway did not offer information about this, and were dismissive about questions I had about this. The supervisor Nicky was supposed to return multiple calls to me and she did not. Montway is just bad at customer service; I do not recommend.

My experience with Montway was extremely disappointing from start to finish.

The sales team was very responsive before I placed my order, but once my payment was processed, the communication changed completely. I even continued receiving calls and emails encouraging me to complete my order after I had already booked and paid.

When I initially spoke with the sales representative, he was reassuring and emphasized that I could reach out with any questions. I explained that my shipment was extremely time-sensitive because I was moving out of state. I needed my vehicle picked up within a two-day window, and I paid an additional fee for **guaranteed pickup**. I was assured, "Don't worry, we'll handle it." Unfortunately, after that conversation, I never heard from him again.

As my pickup window approached, I repeatedly checked my email, waiting for information about my assigned driver. I eventually received the driver's contact information but never received a call from him. On the final day of my guaranteed pickup window, I had to call him myself. He initially told me he would arrive around 8:00 p.m., but after I waited all evening, he texted me saying he could not make it. He was fully aware that I was moving the following day and that this shipment was time-sensitive. During our conversation, he was dismissive and rude while eating on the phone.

The next day, I contacted Montway for help. Instead of honoring the guaranteed pickup I had paid extra for, I was told I would need to drive my vehicle to Irvine—more than an hour from where I was located. The customer service representative was also rude and told me I should be "grateful" they were able to offer that option, despite the fact that I had paid an additional fee specifically to avoid this situation.

To make matters worse, Montway provided me with the wrong drop-off address. Thankfully, the staff at that location kindly directed me to the correct address. Had they not done so, I would have wasted even more time during an already stressful move.

Overall, Montway failed to deliver the guaranteed pickup service that I paid extra for, provided inaccurate information, and offered poor customer service throughout the process. They also made no effort to compensate me for the additional inconvenience, including having to arrange my own transportation home after dropping off my vehicle over an hour away.

I will not use Montway again, nor will I recommend them to friends or family. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend trusting this company with a time-sensitive vehicle shipment.

Not a trustworthy and unprofessional company. Would not use them to transport.

Stay away from theme, they are brokers that simply contract the cheapest and unreliable carrier to deliver your vehicle. In my unfortunate case I'm dealing with NABLE LLC.

Inaccurate ETAs, missed pickups, lies, and they have you wait a full day telling you the driver will be there at X time, but it is a lie.

Nightmare to deal with, total liars, do not trust them.

Still waiting for my car after I was told the driver would be on site at 7AM. Called them multiple times throughout the day and they kept providing updated ETAs, it is now 8PM (CT), the driver is nowhere to be found after I was promised the driver was close and it would deliver at 7PM, they promised.

Same ordeal during pickup, where they also lied on the BOL regarding scratches and condition of the vehicle, completely wrong, despite having pictures that show absolutely nothing wrong.

STAY AWAY!

Only giving 1 star because it wouldn’t let me give zero! Communication has been terrible… the delivery is a week late… excuse after excuse and no one knows where my car is…. Truck broke down… Will be in the shop for days… when I asked where it was nobody knew! Do not use this company!

never shipped a car like this before and had little help looking at the reviews. I had a buddy tell me he had good luck with Montway and at the last minute I went with them. Texas to New York. Locked in a price, they gave me a pick up window, showed up the first day of the window, driver super courteous, loaded, shipped, delivered as estimated, no money due on arrival, all paid as agreed. Happy with this service.
