Bad Business

I placed close to 30k in this app via ACH and wire from my bank accounts to open an account. After I started to see challenges with placing trades, I decided to close my account. They used every stall tactic for a month. Verify identity, verify bank accounts, etc. literally taking 30+ days to return money to the same account I open the accounts with. Finally had to involve the FBI, SEC & FINRA after 2 months of not getting my money back. As a person in the legal profession, I cannot in good faith recommend this company. The complaints on trust pilot are in fact real.

I opened a Moomoo account with a large sum of money, believing MOOMOO was trustworthy.
I signed up through a YouTube operator to access the "PERKS."

On September 11, 2025, at 9:01 a.m. Florida time, they sent me an email confirming that they had received the money from my Wells Fargo bank and that they had already deposited it into my Moomoo account.
Since September 11, I have logged in multiple times (with my username and password, BUT MY MONEY DOESN'T APPEAR).
I have called multiple times and waited for hours (no one answers), I have sent emails (nothing), I have written in the chat, and they keep asking me questions, saying they are sorry I can't access my account. They don't resolve anything. I think is a machine....

Do not put your money in this company

Stay away! This is an extremely dodgy company. If you are trying to close your account, they will just ignore you. Trying to call them is impossible since they will put you on hold indefinitely.

I put in a lot of hard work and savings but was scammed. It was stressful and frustrating, but after doing my research I was able to recover my money. If you ever face something similar, just know there’s help out there, and I’m happy to share the steps that worked for me.

I invested with moomoo the same etfs I…

I invested with moomoo the same etfs I have in schwab, but I'm losing my capital , but the same etfs on schwab I'm not losing money or my losses are very minimal. It makes me think moomoo rigged their platform to make their clients lose their money. I pulled out all my money . I lost $250 on moomoo but I didn't want to incur bigget losses and so I pulled out asap. As soon as my money is all pulled out, I'll never go back to moomoo and never recommend it. They say I'll get 60 free stocks if I have X $s in the acct. I only counted 32 stocks , but moomoo customer service rep said they see on their screen I have 60 free stocks on my acct. Anyways, the so-called 60 stocks are only valued to $230 . It's not worth it

Moomoo Holding My Money – Refuses to Send OT

Absolutely the worst experience ever. Moomoo refuses to send OTPs to my iCloud email or even to my phone, making it impossible to access my account or withdraw my money. Every time I contact support, they demand a selfie with my ID — even just to update my email or close my account. It’s been 3–4 months of the same back-and-forth with no real help. This is a serious privacy concern. They’re holding my money and refusing to provide a simple solution. Avoid this platform!

Can't get my money out!!

I decided to test the deposit/withdrawal process. Deposited $1 and after verification of days it went through. Deposited $100 and went through instantly. Withdrew $50 waited the mandatory 3 days and it was returned to my Universal account. Help desk told me to use a valid bank account and try again. The reality is that I used the same bank account for the initial deposit and return. I have no confidence in getting my money out. Glad I used small sums to test the process. Help desk used broken English writing and were dismissive. Bad experience.

Broken SMS code verification, bad support

Had to get a SMS confirmation code but it never arrived despite trying all sorts of things. Support spoke broken english and then copy pasted some useless pre written things to try, clearly support is outsourced to india or some other shit hole.

Awful

Awful! I should have read these reviews! Process to transfer, sell and close your account is made impossible on purpose. Do not use this service. Two emails and a phone call still did not solve my issue.

Do not trust their sign up offers like free iphone and free ipad etc, it always says while stock last. When I signed up during the start of their promo, I did not get any of the promised free gifts. When I rang them up, they said gifts out of stock. When I ask how many of those gifts they had in stock, they wont disclose, total LIARS

Good for long term investors/ Swing traders

1. Deposit took about 3 days
2. Withdrawal took about the same time (essays)
3. Have to study the platform first before jump in
4. Great for long term investors/ swing traders
5. You have pretty much all the informations about the stock you need
6. No Forex/ Gold/ Oil for Canadian users
7. IMPORTANT PART IS TRUST WORTHY
( I tried but left just only because they don't offer forex, just incase in the future I might come back )

Worst company to be doing stocks with, they close your account because u transfer your money to your TSFA account n with out any knowledge charge or with out someone breaking the rule n policy. I will not recommend this company

Dissatisfied Customer

I opened account with Moomoo and connected with Tradingview to trades stocks. I opened up a trade on TSLA, knowing it would be a quick in and out trade. When I tried to stop out of the trade it would not let me. I said my ID number was incorrect. By the time I was able to stop the trade I lost $334.00. I was told this happen because the first trade had to be done on Moomoo then I could trade on Tradingview.

This is a well-planned scam service They don't pay new users; they're just pocketing all the money. If you're new to this platform, stop working. They'll never pay you, and they'll never verify your account. Even clients can lose money, because the worker is just wasting their time here.
