I went into Moores Interiors this afternoon to ask for some help with furniture for my TV room and was met by three rude people sat behind a desk. No one was in the shop and yet they didn’t move to help me or show me anything even when I asked. Instead I was told about how much it would cost for them to come to my house and the amount I would need to spend. I would not give them my custom for anything. It’s a lovely looking shop but the snooty reception I received left me cold. James gave me his card but his off-hand manner makes me certain I will never use it!! Not the way to treat any customer.

I contacted Moores for a quote for a furniture repair.
JM, one of the Directors, sent me a quote the same day. WOW I thought. I took two other offers and decided to go with James and his team. I confirmed to work and then it went totally quite for one week. I decided to call JM twice and got a colleague on the phone that he was busy and would call back. NO call back. Then I asked him to confirm the he would take on the work by email and when we could proceed. No response. How shocking is that that he doesn't even have the courtesy to contact the customer that wants to give him work!
And that for a company in business for 75 claimed years.
Furthermore his team are quite apologetic for his behaviour but can do anything.
I guess another business going to file for bankruptcy with the customer facing mentality.

We were looking to redesign our entire living space downstairs and Moore’s Interiors had come highly recommended. From first contact, James visited the house and it was clear he was very professional and had a vast understanding of interior design and furnishings. James works to your tastes and preferences, but will also be very honest if looks or themes won’t suit. He measured up the space and took drawings so we could visualise exactly how the room will look with all the new bespoke furniture, which included a 3m sofa with chez, a coffee table pouffe, an exceptional accent chair and also dining table and chairs, not to mention curtains and soft finishings. The next step was to visit the showroom where we felt like we were waited on hand and foot and the attention to detail on the fabrics for each piece was evident. The team seem to have an undoubted eye for refined, elegant interior decor and furniture and a mood board was created displaying all the different fabrics that were going to be used and how well they all complimented each other. We were kept up to date on the whole process and were even invited back a few times to try the sofa for size and comfort before completion stage. Everything was delivered on time and we were delighted with the finished look. It really did look like a show home and we have received so many compliments since. We would highly recommend Moore’s to anyone looking for interior design ideas and bespoke furniture at very competitive prices. Will be using them again soon for the rest of the house!
