Schedules are very discriminatory towards working people
Good in general but schedules aren’t great at all. Used to visit the Stratford and Cannon Street studios for over 3 years and the Stratford one is not fit for yoga at all. The Cannon Street one is really good. Recently moved houses and changed offices from the city to Canary Wharf so I couldn’t wait for the studio there to open only to be disappointed by the timings of the classes and that none of them is suitable for people who are actually working from the offices or have to walk to the studio for more than 3 min. The first evening class starts at 5:15 which is ridiculous given that most of the people work until 5. Should be 5:30! The next one is at 6:30 which means that if I wanted to do any yoga I should now be working at least an hour late to be able to go to the 6:30 one. Same situation with the morning classes which should be starting at least 15 min earlier to allow people to get ready for work, walk to their office and not having to run. I am not sure they thought through that schedule very well. At the moments it looks to me that this studio is only for the people who live 5 min walking from it and nobody else. Even if you lived in another part of CW and worked from
Home, it’s still impossible to make it there in time for an early evening class if you had normal working hours. Not all of us want to do a 6:30 class and waste their whole evening because of it! Because of those timings I am now left with an annual subscription which is of no use for me at all!
MoreYoga is a lovely yoga studio
MoreYoga elephant and castle is my regular studio. It’s is spacious, light and clean. There is a really good range of classes and excellent teachers. I highly recommend it.
I’ve been attending MoreYoga classes…
I’ve been attending MoreYoga classes for the past 2 years and cannot be complimentary enough. The instructors are wonderful and make each session feel really approachable, whether you’re a beginner or more advanced. It’s also super affordable without compromising on quality, and I always leave feeling better physically and mentally.
I had a very disappointing experience…
I had a very disappointing experience at MoreYoga Clapham, especially as a first-time customer.
I booked and paid for a 6:45pm class and arrived early at around 6:15pm since I didn’t know the studio location. There was no signage at all, and the door was closed the entire time. No staff, no other attendees—nothing to indicate I was in the right place.
I waited outside for over 20 minutes, knocking multiple times. Eventually, I called and was told the class had already started and I wasn’t allowed in. This was despite me being there well in advance and unable to access the studio. The teacher (Charlie) could not be reached.
I was offered points and told I could attend the 8:00pm class instead. Since I had already travelled 30 minutes, I decided to wait nearby. I came back at 7:30pm and waited again. The door remained closed, no one came out, and again I couldn’t get in. When I called, I was told the class had already started—again with no access and no way to contact the teacher.
In total, I spent nearly 2 hours waiting outside without being able to attend either class. I knocked, called, and even saw people inside, but no one acknowledged me.
This is extremely poor organisation and customer service. Lack of signage, no access system, and no communication is unacceptable—especially for new customers.
I will not be returning.
Don’t be fooled by £1 trial
This contract system is honestly ridiculous. Who requires 30 days’ notice before cancellation? It’s basically a three-month commitment disguised as a two-month minimum contract, since you have to cancel before your second month even starts.
And if you want to freeze your membership, you’re forced to pay for an additional month just to be able to cancel afterwards.
I’ve never come across such a sneaky and misleading system. I definitely won’t recommend.
Fantastic value and flexible membership…
Fantastic value and flexible membership with lots of classes across London. Teachers are friendly and motivating, and studios feel welcoming. Great mix of beginners and advanced sessions. I always leave feeling relaxed, stronger, and part of a supportive yoga community.
Scummy
This place feels scammy. Bad instructors and misleading intro offers. Really not good yoga vibes at all. Very scummy to be tricking people into paying for months.
Best yoga experience
My yoga journey started 3 years ago. Since the very first class I fell in love with this amazing discipline, thanks to the amazing classes taught by very dedicated and knowledgeable teachers. Along the years I couldn’t believe the improvements I’ve seen in my practice and I couldn’t be more grateful to More Yoga for providing such a fabulous yoga plan in London.
Avoid
Purposely misleading on the 'trial' offer with no option to end the trial if it's not for you. The opposite of a trial, and really a two month contract. Seems like the only way they make money is scamming it from people
More Yoga has made me fall in love with…
More Yoga has made me fall in love with yoga all over again! I had my first class in January and I'm utterly obsessed. All the studios are beautiful and there are so many wonderful, kind, passionate teachers to learn from. No matter what your level or ability you are always made to feel so welcome. It's so lovely to have such an amazing yoga studio right on my doorstep and its so affordable cannot recommend enough
Paid £39 for a single class due to unclear instructions
I’d attended moreyoga in Wandsworth as a guest and decided to join myself. I booked my membership (‘£39 membership / partnership’) via the mindbody app but unfortunately this only gave me access to book a single class. For a studio claiming to be the cheapest in London, this is poor. I had got in touch with mindbody who advised me that only the business can sort this. I got in touch with moreyoga and explained the issue to their chatbot which assured me that my membership gives me access to unlimited classes, but could not explain why I could only book one. I then asked to be put through to a human agent but waited 10 minutes without being contacted. I had a great experience at the class I went to, and from what I’ve heard there are some great teachers in Moreyoga (the extra star is for Luisa), however I cannot trust handing my money to them given my experience. I had asked for a refund for my (at the time) unused pass but was told refunds are not available for even unused passes - be careful!!
Where did all my classes go?
I've been a customer of More Yoga for over a decade and am increasingly frustrated by the way they decide to cull classes with no notcie despite the classes being popular.
I went away on holiday for two weeks and when I came back, 3 out of the 4 regular classes I take have been removed from the timetable. I've spoken to the teachers, and they are unhappy about this as well. Removing the majority of morning classes has a major impact on many of us who need to attend before work. It seems they're prioritising growing and opening new venues, as opposed to nurturing and supporting the ones they already have. Such a shame.
Do not join impossible to cancel…
Do not join impossible to cancel membership. I expect they are largely funded by people who cannot cancels and are not using the classes
Poor customer service
I’ve been going to the Wembley Park studio for nearly a year now. Great teachers, but the customer service is quite poor. Myself and other customers have complained multiple times about the condition of the studio — it’s always dirty, with the floor constantly covered in hair, leaves, and dust, and the toilet is out of order. Nothing has been done. On top of that, they often remove long-running classes. Many regulars have complained about their decision to cancel the Monday lunchtime class, but no one seems to care (they don’t even reply to emails). The solution they offer is to go to a different studio or use a different class… no one considers that this might be the only class that fits into your schedule. The lack of care is honestly surprising.
Caledonian Rd studio
Have joined Caledonian Rd studio recently and been trying different instructors and classes and have not been disappointed once! The location is easily accessible and the studio has cozy atmosphere. Highly recommend :)
Teachers are good, customer service is dire.
I've been using moreyoga for several years. The teachers and studios have been of good quality and the classes are great value, but the customer service provided by moreyoga itself is so poor that I am rating them 3/5. They take days to respond, and then do not follow up on the actions they agree to take. They're unreliable and let the reputation of the company down. If a business has to text you to say their customer service is behind by 5 days, that's a warning sign that there is complete chaos behind the scenes and it's not being managed properly.
Great value for money
I've been to a few MoreYoga locations and I find them pretty good - some are a bit crowded sometimes but most of them are fine.
They offer a quite good variety of classes, the only thing I'd say is that most pilates classes feel more like yogalates, but probably is expected from a yoga studio.
Overall a good experience and the membership price for what you get is pretty good.
Great classes, poor payment system and customer service
I've been going to classes at the new Battersea Studio for the past 3 months. The studio is lovely and I'm very pleased to have found a class with a wonderful teacher. They offer classes for all levels and great adaptations. It's a great place to start or continue your yoga journey.
However, if you pay any way other that by membership or single classes the payment system (app and website) is very poor. I have a multi-class voucher worth over £100 which I'm finding impossible to use (code not accepted etc) and customer services have not replied to me. Emails are regularly sent out to say that customer services are a small team and are not able to respond to emails within a reasonable time frame. This is such a shame. Whilst I appreciate the reasonable pricing you cannot run a business without providing an essential level of customer service.
36 Classes In – Why MoreYoga Is Worth It
I joined MoreYoga in mid-January, and since then I’ve attended 36 classes, plus a workshop (which was an additional £35). I’ve been really impressed by the extensive range of classes and studios available. The variety gives you the opportunity to experience different styles of yoga, including hot yoga and Pilates, which keeps things interesting and allows you to find what suits you best.
Although I naturally have my personal preferences when it comes to class style and teachers, every single class I’ve attended has been of a very high professional standard and excellent quality. All the teachers are clearly well-trained and experienced. Even when a class is led by a trainee teacher, they are transparent about it, and the quality remains very good.
So far, I’ve only attended the two studios closest to me, but I’m looking forward to exploring other locations as well, particularly to try more of the hot yoga offering.
In terms of quality and price, it’s a complete no-brainer at £44 a month. On top of that, their communication is excellent, and their policies feel fair and genuinely client-centred.
I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for affordable, high-quality yoga with plenty of choice.
