I cannot say enough good things about Morocco Tours and our recent trip. We had a very short and specific window for our trip and Jeff was fantastic at helping us build a personalized experience that was perfect for us. He took the time to listen to what we were looking for and delivered a wonderful itinerary, with no pressure at all like some companies can apply.

And the trip itself was top notch start to finish. They picked excellent Riads for us in Marrakech and Essaouira. The 'glue' for the trip is the driver, and our driver was fantastic. Polite, personable, and most importantly he really got to know us and made some excellent recommendations for dinners, lunches, and daytime activities throughout the trip. The guides in both cities were knowledgeable and friendly. I feel like the entire team worked very closely together to provide a seemless experience. We felt like family throughout.

This trip really wet our appetite and we hope to get back soon for more adventures. I would not hesitate to use Morocco Tours again. It was an amazing adventure in no small part thanks to them.

This was a wonderful trip. In particular, moroccotours.org listened to what we were interested in and delivered beyond our expectations. I want to highlight how awesome Khalid, our driver and spirit guide was. He went above and beyond to make sure we had an incredible stay. He is a gem.

We all (10 of us) had the most splendid time on our tour with Moroccotours.org I am not sure exactly what I expected, but it definitely was not the good food, the friendly atmosphere (wherever we went) nor the beautiful accommodations. Our tour guide, Lechan, was a human with unlimited kindness. I've traveled alot and I did not expect this trip to be on the list of one of my most favorites--but it definitely is! Wonderful time!

Our group of 10 traveled to Morocco and had the trip of a lifetime, in no small part due to the care and diligence of our tour operator, Morocco Tours. This was my first experience with a small tour and from now on, I will only take small group tours-no more big buses for me. Bethany and Brian of Morocco Tours arranged our itinerary of fantastic riads, restaurants and day tours and we were guided by our wonderful tour guide, Lahcen Asmar. Our driver, Abdul, kept us supplied with bottled water and expertly drove us all around Morocco-from Casablanca to Chefchaouen, Rabat, Fes, Meknes, Ouarzazate and Marrakech. Lahcen squired us around through the medinas, cultural heritage sites, palaces and medinas and kept us all educated about the marvels of Morocco.
I hope everyone gets a chance to visit this beautiful country and travels with Morocco Tours.

Our guide Lahcen A. was the best as well as our driver. He was very personable and helpful. Every request was handled and fulfilled with grace and a smile. Couldn't ask for a better guide.

The actual tour was awesome as we circled many of the towns in the north with highlights being Chefchaouen, the camel ride in the desert, and our balloon ride. Our accommodations were top notch and the food was good.

Morocco Tours took very good care of us and coordinated everything. Highly recommended.

Our driver/ guide, Hamid Zerheri could not have been any more perfect for us. We were always comfortable in his beautiful , big and clean, van. He’s an excellent driver and we felt secure at all times. He was respectful of our silences while driving the long distances, and offered insightful comments on what we were seeing/ visiting at all times over many days. The tour guides provided at the different locations were all amazing . Friendly and so knowledgeable. The Riads booked for us were all quite stunning, especially Fez. The only hiccup was the airport arrival pickup, and it was Not the tour operators fault! But they took care of it for us and handled it beautifully. We totally recommend them to anyone who wants an incredible time touring Morocco with nice, 2-3 day stops in each of the main cities. We never felt rushed, nor did we feel like we missed anything! Morocco Tours put together a terrific 9-day trip for my husband and me. From the beginning our driver, Ali, met us at the airport in Casablanca as promised and was there every day, taking us on excursions himself and lining up local tour guides in specific locales as well as choosing outside restaurants for dinner and getting us there/back. The hotels Morocco Tours booked were terrific. If possible, try to stay in a riad to truly experience the local culture. La Maison Arabe in Marrakech was gorgeous and service was amazing. The Hotel Casablanca (not a riad) was also 5-star. We added a cooking class in Fes and a balloon ride out from Marrakech, both worth it if you have time. Driving from town to town was great because we got to see the countryside, take local excursions, and stop along the way at local coffee stops for a break. All arrangements were carried out without a single glitch, and a great part of that was attributable to Ali managing all the day-to-day activities perfectly while driving us through the incredible traffic circles without a single scratch on the SUV! Don't miss the snake charmers and spice market in Marrakech, the Jardins Marjorelle, the pottery maker in Fes. You definitely want a local guide through the medinas in Fes and Marrakech or you will be lost for weeks!

From our first contact with this small family owned and operated company through the last day of our trip, Morocco Tours gave us exceptional assistance. They worked with us to plan our own itinerary for our 14 day trip, giving great recommendations on where to go, along with realistic travel timeframes so we didn’t try to cram in too much. Working with our budget they found us lovely riads to stay in and knowledgeable local guides in the Blue City, Fes and Marrakech.
Perhaps most importantly, they gave us an absolutely terrific and delightful guide, Hamid, who showed us his fascinating country. He knew the history, geography, current affairs and more, as well as solved problems (like leaving my charger in the last place we left the day before or getting medications we needed.) We felt safe throughout the trip, even as he drove us on challenging roads through the High Atlas Mountains or in crowded city streets.
I have travelled extensively throughout Africa and couldn’t recommend Morocco more highly as a beautiful and unique destination AND Morocco Tours as the folks to make your trip truly "once in a lifetime."

We just returned from a memorable 10-day trip to Morocco, customized for our group of 4 by Morocco Tours. From first contact with Brian in the US, through the process of customizing our trip, handling the logistics with Bethany, and the tour itself, Morocco Tours was always professional, responsive, timely, attentive to detail and to our needs, and ready to help. They set up an itinerary that included Fes, Marrakech, Rabat, Essaouira, and stops in between such as the Roman ruins of Volubilis. Each riad or hotel was unique and a treat in itself, and we were able to sample a variety of great food through the restaurants the company chose. Our guide, Youssef Maamri, drove us everywhere and stayed with us throughout, always understanding, helpful and accommodating. His pride and love for his country were apparent in his infectious enthusiasm as he educated us about Moroccan history and culture. We feel we have made a friend!

Thanks to the professionalism of the company and its excellent staff, we have come back with wonderful memories and a new appreciation for the ancient culture of Morocco and its people.

We selected Morocco Tours over a better-known tour company because of the opportunity to personalize our trip, and it was fabulous. Our guide and driver, Hamid, was not only knowledgeable and personable but a really great driver, which you need in the high Atlas. The riads were well-chosen, picturesque, comfortable and well-located---I particularly enjoyed Emanuelle at Chergui in Marrakesh. The city guides were excellent, and I felt that we got a real feel for this beautiful, safe and peaceful country. The ocean, the mountains, the desert, such scenery! The food is remarkable, and the restaurants very good, with a few exceptions.. We had unexpected extras, as well. I highly recommend the cooking school at La Maison Arabe, which is included. I had a horseback ride in Skoura with a guide, which was memorable.

We SO enjoyed our custom vacation in Morocco, designed by Morocco Tours, built around the places we wanted to see, and the things we wanted to do. Our personal guide picked us up at the airport, brought us everywhere, kept us safe, fed, watered, entertained, and blew us away with his knowledge of the land and its history. All of our accomodations were comfortable and beautiful, and we especially enjoyed our camel ride in the Sahara and our (very fancy) camping there.

From my first contact with the company I knew we were in good hands. Brian was extremely helpful and very prompt in responding to my questions. Two weeks before departure the earthquake struck and by the next morning we had received an update and had several conversations before our departure. The trip was flawless. Driss, our driver has been with the company for 17 yers and it really shows. He was knowledgable, friendly, prompt, beyond superb. The local tour guides were all excellent as were our accommodations. Watching the sunset in the desert after a camel ride is an experience of a lifetime. La Maison Arabe, a riad in Marrakech, was very special as was a visit to their spa where we experienced a hammam. Driving through the country for two weeks really gave us a true picture of the land.

My husband and I would say our recent trip to Morocco was quite special. Our friends and family are jealous and a few of them keep telling me that they should have come with us. They definitely missed a fabulous adventure.
We were met by our guide/driver Oussama as planned. Everything was organized as we had expected. Oussama was a great guide. He was professional and quite knowledgeable about his country. We learned a good deal from him and I’m sure with our life experiences we taught him a few things too. We were very happy with the guiding that he provided. With the amount of time we spent driving around the country, I am very pleased to say that his driving was exceptional. I felt very safe.
We highly recommend the Morocco Tour Company for future travel to this beautiful country. Don't miss out on an amazing journey around the country to learn and experience Morocco as it was meant to be seen.

We’re not tour people. We love to plan and make our own bookings, but we were strongly encouraged by friends to break our no-tour rule and use Morocco Tours on this one trip…and are so glad we did. Brian, our US contact, was a fantastic source of guidance and totally no-pressure. Our trust in him (and eventually everyone else in the company) was well-deserved. Our driver, Driss, was such a decent person and knowledgeable guide that it was like having a longtime friend showing us around. No decision-fatigue. No friction. We were really grateful for his company and wisdom. Our first day in Fes, Jill (one of Morocco Tours principals) came to our riad to welcome us. She was wonderful, and made us feel connected to the country. We will be scanning Morocco Tours’ website, because we now want to have them show us other countries on future trips.

We had a wonderful experience with Morocco Tours! They were extremely responsive with all inquiries and contact from the start-- easy to contact and talk to when we had a last minute flight change which was very stress reducing! We were super appreciative of all the information that was sent to us prior to our trip where we could digest it all. We felt very prepared and knowledgeable about traveling in Morocco.
Highlights of our trip definitely included the stays and camel ride in the Sahara Desert. Honestly, every riad and hotel we stayed at got better and better. They blew our minds away everytime we stepped in the next one. Our driver was perfect- he was extremely knowledgeable and gave the perfect amount of history/information. He was chatty when appropriate and let us rest when appropriate and just super kind and easy going, there was never a point we felt uncomfortable or annoyed which can totally happen when you spend several days with a stranger!

I cannot say enough about how wonderful Morocco Tours was. In the planning stages, Jeff worked side-by-side with us to customize our visit to include a camel ride in the Sahara and a special day focused on fossils for our school-aged children. When the earthquake hit Morocco just days before our trip, Jeff and Bethany were compassionate, helped us find a local relief organization to support, and provided up-to-the-minute information that allowed us to proceed on our trip with no issues. Our guide, Abdulkadir, was fantastic--from helping us with lost luggage to adjusting daily tours to account for our group's needs, he took care of us. If you are looking to travel to Morocco, I could not recommend Morocco Tours any more highly!

Excellent adventure! I made a great decision to make my adventure with Morocco Tours. My family and I had the best experience ever, and so much fun. Excellent guide, friendly people, good meals, and great accommodation. Highly recommended!
